10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is fabulous, beautiful views and very relaxing (when the racing is not on), fantastic food, even the breakfast is 3 michelin stars, the Michelin starred restaurant was amazing
Cons: The beds are too small for this type of establishment and the pillows are very uncomfortable, you are not able to control the air conditioning in the main building, so we had to change rooms. Bedding is only changed every 2 days, in a five star hotel I think you should have the choice of having it changed daily.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We booked this hotel as a real treat after a friends wedding and it didn’t disappoint. Amazing room, great facilities and the food was fantastic. Breakfast was truly spectacular with both a buffet and a la carte menu. Will stay again.
Cons: The bed could have been more comfortable and the staff at the bar in the evening before dinner were a little unhelpful when we requested the special cocktail (apparently there was no such thing!).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The situation of the hotel, the facilities, the park, the food, the service... A beautiful break and we will come back definitively.
Cons: Nothing at all
9.6 Excellent
Pros: What’s not to like?! The most amazing setting and scenery, spectacular views, great rooms with beautiful bathrooms and a lovely terrace area, one of the best restaurants in the world, a lovely pool area, the most polite and helpful staff I’ve ever come across (the concierge, in particular), a stunning golf course, a good gym, I could go on..! The whole place is just impossibly perfect. Thanks to the sommelier for his time as well, that was a fitting end to a truly incredible stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, which exceeded my expectations. Next door to Paul Ricard circuit, which has attractions as driving lessons or tours in sports cars. Close to lovely french villages and beaches. Very good restaurants, both the 3 stars and one star, and spa and swimming pool areas. Concierge was very helpful and had good hints.
Cons: Difficult to find negative points about the hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice Spa, outdoor facilities. Beautiful view.

Hotel Residence Les Medes - Hyères - Bedroom
3
9.0 Excellent (481 reviews)
C$ 154+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Résidence Les Mèdes in Porquerolles, you'll be on the beach, just a 1-minute walk from Place d'Armes and 5 minutes by foot from Plage des Porquerolles. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved how close this hotel was to the port and the restaurants in town. It has a relaxing water feature in the back that we sat by. They also have an "honesty bar" that allows you to have a glass of wine (or more) without the traditional bartender. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions.
Cons: We would have liked for there to be a well-marked entrance to the backyard relaxation/water area. The first night we could see it from our room but we couldn't figure out how to get to it. The next day we asked and the front desk said we had to use the gate a short walk to the right of the property and walk around. Better signage or another entrance from the lobby would be great. (You can get there from the breakfast area but only during breakfast). We didn't get the optional breakfast since it was much more expensive than grabbing freshly baked items from the boulangerie in town.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: location, size of room and facilities, very comfortable bed
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The personnel were fantastic, and most helpful, especially Mademoiselle Faustine who helped us a lot with bus and boat timetables and gave us lots of information. We were also allowed to leave our luggage for a few hours after checkout, so that we were able to enjoy our last afternoon on the island. Breakfast was plentiful - we had it in the terraced garden, which made it very enjoyable. There is also a spacious, tastefully decorated sitting room near the reception, full of light, with comfy sofas, coffee tables, and a honesty bar, Les Medes also has a launderette for the guests, who can also benefit from a discount from a bike rental place close by.
Cons: We had a room with a fully equipped kitchen area, which was very clean. We only used the fridge since we ate out. However, the room was rather dark and gloomy - surely it may be improved by giving it lighter colours, and by making the bedding more comfortable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect Location Nice new bathroom Clean room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Honesty Bar, good food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the residence and its position very close to the bikes rentals and the village. The staff was always present and kind. They gave us instructions and water for the day.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location very close to the beach. The manager there was such a welcoming, helpful guy. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was a great location, very close to a beautiful beach. The room itself was lovely, very comfortable bed.
Cons: The breakfast was a little pathetic to be honest, and although we had our bed made up each morning, they failed to take out dirty plates and pizza boxes, or replace used glasses with clean ones. I appreciate it’s pricey in the South of France, but for what we paid, expected a little more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My partner and I are extremely happy with the choice of the hotel - it definitely exceeded our expectations! The hotel feels recently renovated, everything inside looked new. We booked a room with a terrace and that was the highlight of our stay, as we could enjoy evenings with aperitifs on the terrace as well as brunches there. The view from the terrace was as promised, great, we could see a little bit of the sea. Even though the room size is relatively small, but everything was nicely thought-through - there was a big wardrobe in the small corridor by the bathroom where we could easily fit all the things we had. The bathroom is above all compliments - it was super nicely done, with enough light, great shower and even a magnifying mirror! Also I cannot compliment enough that bathroom had enough hooks for towels/hanging things as well as plenty of space to put all our toiletries. The rooms were cleaned every day, the maids were extremely friendly and considerate (like, if we had a "DO NOT DISTURB" sign out, and then they saw either me or my partner in the corridor, they would ask what would be the best time to clean our room), the room and bathroom felt clean and fresh. The hotel had excellent soundproof walls - during the entire stay of 8 nights we never heard anyone speaking in the rooms next to us/above us (even though we saw that other people were staying there). We did try the breakfast that the hotel offers once and it was super - everything tasted fresh and was nicely displayed, good choice of cheeses/meats, fresh fruit, freshly brewed coffee, pastry, breads, yoghurt etc.; the fact that the breakfast is served outside only adds bonus points. Location wise - hotel is situated in a quiet part of Bandol, 2 mins from the beach, 3 mins from the "town center" and the port, bakeries and supermarket were 2 steps down the street. Service was nice, too, smooth check-in and check-out! We will definitely be back, thank you, Fabien!
Cons: Everything was great, no complaints
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners were really nice and incredibly helpful both with parking, booking us a trip to see the Calenques and even helping me with my Sim card for my phone. They went our of their way to be of service. We had the family suite which has a big and beautiful balcony where you get a great view of the sea. The suite is very comfortable, a little bit cramped but still really nice. The bathroom is also very beautiful with a door that opens to the the terrace. Great location too walk to the beach and town!! Highly recommend this hotel.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms are cleaned daily, the pool is super clean and pleasant, excellent location. Very calm and relaxing place. Beautiful beach with direct access from the hotel. Access to the outdoor pool is free.
Cons: Breakfast is a bit weak as diversity for a 5 star hotel should have more products especially seasonal vegetables, cheese, but what they prepared was tasty. The price of 2 beach bed is about 60Euro per day, them are not free or discounted for hotel guest.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely attentive, polite and helpful. Secure parking for motorcycle. Top class service from two chaps looking after sun bed area on beach. Great tapas snacks.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything , food, staff, hotel, location, can't fault anything, other than the room they first offered me, which was far too small considering we come every year and pay the same price as everyone else once moved all OK, will be back
Cons: Beach facilities, why do guests pay, and then get wedged in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I stayed in this hotel for three nights as part of a three weeks vacation in south of France. The view from the room was unbeatable! Best view we ever had (we travelled a lot and have stayed in many hotels!) The room are confortable (bed is confortable, coffee machine is Expresso, AC works well ...). The location is great. Right in the center of the port. We skipped breakfast at the hotel and walked to a bakery in the morning (5 min walk). We did not do any of the spa options but it looked great. We enjoyed the private beach with the blue lagoon water! We were there in October and got to swim :) the pool is heated at 25 degree so we were able to swim in the salt water pool. We are really happy about our stay!
Cons: Not much maybe outside of the fact that the carpet in the rooms look a bit old with some stains.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was like a dream. My room looked directly over the pool and over the ocean. It was the most beautiful place I stayed in the south of France. I loved it and hope to be back.
Cons: There was a wild party going on in an event room next to the pool which lasted pretty much all night. Paying the price for that hotel, all I wanted to do was to sleep with my sliding doors open to the ocean and hear the waves. Instead all I heard was the sound of a crazy party.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location walk to town five minutes. Hotel was missing some five star items bad lighting in the room and the bathroom no slip mats for the shower and the bath was exceptionally high so difficult to get in and out we felt overpriced for five star. The spa and the restaurant on the beach was excellent staff worthy of a five star from the reception to the bar
Cons: Lighting bad in hall you could not see the wardrobe or the safe after the sun went down. Bathroom lighting poor for make up and no safety grab rails or any slip mats
7.1 Good
Pros: Sea view from room and location walking distance to restaurants.
Cons: Staff on arrival continued telephone calls and ignored us. The cost of breakfast is very expensive for what is on offer. The taps in the bathroom are ridiculous and highly impractical. Car parking is pricey.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has a gorgeous view. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the pool and sea. The hotel and rooms are very clean, and good value for the amenities. It’s right on the water and a close walk to town. Food and drinks were great and staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: I liked the location, the friendly and efficient staff and the hotel decor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing vitsa onto beach and hills. Great room. Great restaurants and great spa
Cons: Charging for parking and other things not included in rate. That said free mini bar was a nice touch
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I would like to have a choice of more than two types of fruit juice.
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice, historical looking building in a family seaside town, separated from the beach by a pedestrianised road. Friendly service - although some didn’t speak a word in English. Lovely restaurant and bar covered by trees, where there’s live music during the dinner (at least was on a Friday night).
Cons: Terrible gym - which is basically a single, half broken machine. There’s a bench that you can find in a park, but no gym bench that you can work out on. Pretty bad cocktails such as Bellini - tiny and flat lukewarm liquid, which looked like topped with a dash of sparkling wine that was open the day before, and Pina Colada - which had random desiccated coconut pieces, especially considering they’re at €12 each. Also, terrible whiskey selection and no knowledge of drinks by the waiters. Asked which brands of single malt whiskeys they serve, the answer was J&B... Tiny room - classic room with balcony, that overlooks the car park and the industrial air conditions for the whole hotel. Two of us and our one luggage each filled the room. Pool area is full of flies, even on a rather windy day.

Pros: Everything was perfect from a to z
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: location right on the beach promenade, exceptionnal seaview, spacious room, clean. Very comfortable beds. Building well refurbished. very good breakfast. different restaurants in the hotel; close to many other restaurants and facilities.
Cons: paying 15€/person/day to access the indoor pool/jacuzzi/sauna area while being hotel guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful decoration, perfect location, beautiful and confortable room. Very nice breakfast room and terrace. Free soft drinks in the room, although not refilled every day apart from still water.
Cons: Extra pay for the rather small spa area. We were also not impressed by any of the 3 restaurants on site. They were good without being outstanding.

Pros: It was very clean and the staff was really friendly and courteous.
Cons: Nothing all was great.
5.8 Okay
Pros: quite a comfortable bed. simple breakfast, though it could be better for this price.
Cons: the room is too small and noisy if the window is open; no electric kettle in the room, very dark bathroom. Attention! you will have your normal breakfast if you get up and come early, while those who come at 9 a.m. - eat what is left after the early birds ))) and be aware that the coffee from machine is bad.

Overview Reviews
This comfortable hotel is located in Toulon. There are a total of 18 units on the premises. Customers will not be bothered during their stay, as this is not a pet-friendly establishment.
6.7 Good
Pros: Ideal location. Parking in the blue zone at the end of the quai is ideal if arriving after 4.30 and departing by 10 30 the following morning as it's free and nearby. Also close proximity to the best bar in town (France?) Ca-Chotte Quay des Bieres. Good aircon in the room.
Cons: Poor to non -existent Wi-Fi, card machine not functioning so had to pay cash, poor, cramped layout of shower area, only one power socket.
7.5 Good
Pros: - very friendly personal (despite communication problems) - the hotel is extremy near to the harbour - nice balcony - very early Check-Out was possible
Cons: - The Check-In was complicated, because the Check-In Time you can look up in booking.com was wrong and the reception was already closed - very small toilett - loud at the morning
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Bed Cleanliness Bathroom Shower
1.0 Poor
Cons: Hygiene: due to bed bugs resulting in several bites that still remain after 5 days, it was a terrible stay. We tried to reach the manager via mail and phone to talk about this, but there was no response.
5.4 Okay
Cons: dirty toiletbrush, dirty showerhead, balcony full of pigeonshit, horrible matrasses. and i use to sleep in tents and love camping.
8.8 Excellent
