The pool area and restaurants
The old Carson Tower and the church bell
The furnishings in the room.
- Our room was in between an ice machine in the elevator so it was very noisy - there was no soap in our room, the bathtub did not drain, the phones had dead batteries so In order to call down to the front desk for service we had to use the speakerphone. - We tried to order a movie but the TV picture was fuzzy and sound did not work. - when I called down for service the only recompense offerred was a flimsy $50 F&B credit that was not applied upon checkout so we had to attempt to call the desk again. - All of these things together with the fact that everybody feels like they can smoke pot up and down Fremont Street have changed my opinion of that area entirely Needless to say, we won’t be back.
My friend and I had a wonderful time staying here at the golden nugget. Wonderful location, staff was friendly. I’m glad we chose this place definitely worth it!
Great place. Great location.
Location, cleanliness, delicious restaurants, nice pool, fast Uber's
Pool needs umbrellas/shade, would be nice to have Bar fridges in rooms
Dated and needs better cleaning.
Loved being in the center of downtown and walking out to Fremont street. Also when playing slot machines had a great waitress who kept a drink in my hand at all times. That was perfect. My kids (8) and (14) liked the water slide through the shark tank. Even if the overall pool was small.
Front desk person didn’t want to give me a room with two beds even if my reservation said so. Told me that was wrong. You want to argue with me, or apologize and try to fix the mistake? Her “fix” was to give me a smoking room. Yuck. The only options for multiple beds is two double beds. For older kids or adults sharing a bed, This makes for cramped sleeping. The room looked like it needed to be vacuumed. Very small bathroom. There was small hairs in the bathroom sink. Rust in the shower, and the tub drained slowly as well.
Nice Hotel But the Pool Closes at 7pm in the Summer, Not Cool
Great location, Hotel / Casino was very clean. Nice large rooms
Very Sad that the Golden Nuggets # 1 amenity (The Pool) Closes at 7pm in the Summer. Totally rediculous. My son was so upset because we got their at 6pm and he had less than 1hour in the pool. Very Poor Decision cheating your guests out of an experience especially when you have the highest Resort fees of any hotel in vegas. I pay that to be able to enjoy your pool.
Need to be more organized and customer oriented
Location, poker tournament pool fish tanks
Staff at front desk wasn't helpful. Overbooked from what I reserved. Was told no kings available i could upgrade to a suite at my own expense. First room was not comfortable and not clean. Obliged to pay extra for suite. I felt there was no reward for play at table games. Drinks took a while limited selection. Probably won't stay there again. Buffet was sub par.
Female night manager was rude and very unhelpful
Golden Nugget Stay
I loved everything about this hotel and wish we would've had more time to enjoy our stay. We were there only for one night and I can hardly wait to go back! Everything was above expectations.
Time went by too fast!
The staff is professional & friendly. The hotel and casino were clean & comfortable. The restaurants were awesome!
I would like to see more Fremont Street chairs for guests. Open restaurant along Fremont Street.
1st time Vegas visitors loved the Freemont St. Experience
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were offered an opportunity to get our room upgraded at minimal cost. Our room in the Rush tower was beautiful. The on street access to Freemont St. Was awesome.
As first time visitors to Vegas we didn't know anything. Drinks are expensive but you can save some if you gamble but we didn't know enough about that until the end of our trip.
Weekend getaway without kids
The casino staff were very friendly. Checkin was very easy. Hotel room was clean however was a bit outdated. The bed was very comfortable. The pool area was beautiful.
