Needles in the bathroom were not a great add. The environment was pretty bad too. I didn’t even stay because I didn’t feel safe.
Everything the front desk lady said she dont care if I was having a seizure I should have updated my card first
Room needs some deep cleaning lot of dust at corners I washed some walls Caret was filthy I picked old dried up food house keeping needs to be closely supervised My blanket had large cigarette burns
The non smoking room smelled like an ashtray and there were cockroaches outside our door, staff was very unfriendly and it was a dirty place. Never staying there again. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy there. Terrible experience. If I could get my money back that would be great. We checked in and left a few hrs after and went to another hotel.
The rooms was big
They advertise a 24 hour check in which is not true. I showed up a bit early believe I thought that can check in and was told that check in was at 3pm. I was tired so I took a nap in my car while I waited which is not the best thing to do in the Las Vegas desde
Nope...money for breakfast...
No fridge and no microwave really ?? $5.00 for mini small old dirty fridge with no cooling.
Proximity to airport and a few decent places to eat.
No fan in bathroom. Bed incredibly uncomfortable, mattress was lumpy. Lobby smells disgusting, full of smoke. The lock on the door was broken.
vibe is shaky
You couldn't watch TV from your bed. After two uses our toilet over flowed all over the floor and carpet. I had to use the restroom badly, had to use a trash can. The electricity was out all during this episode of toilet overflowing and pooping in a trash can. This happened at 3:30 in the morning. Didn't know when the electricity would come on.Left at 4:30 am. Need to be reimbursed for a lousy stay.
close proximity to the convention center
Dated property could use some upgrading. beds and bedding were not as comfortable as other hotels.
Great value for the money
This is not a top notch casino resort however it is clean, reasonably priced, with a friendly staff. It offers shuttle service to and from the airport and the strip. It is within walking distance of the convention center. In short stay here save all your money to spend elsewhere on other things. I have staid here before and will again.
I didn’t win a million dollars, maybe next time .... lol
Great for a cheap but NICE hotel for the weekend.
The size of the room and all staff front desk, casino cashier, and housekeepers were all very nice !! Clean NO BUGS AT ALL !!!
The reviews others have wrote almost made me paranoid to stay here but I am glad I chose for myself!!
For USA it was really nice breakfast - with fruit, porridge, muesli & other non vegetarian sausage, omelets etc., just for 9,25$ or 8,75)), and room was large. Good location - 5 min walk from Convention center.
Mardi Gras not smoking hotel, but I changed 3 rooms and everywhere smoking smell include bed sheets and pillows.
The motel is clean and quiet and thanks to booking.com, affordable. We spent 26 nights there, and had only one noisy night. Management comped our room and gave us a complimentary dinner, which we considered very generous. We stayed there years ago, and if we go back to Vegas will stay there again.
The staff was very courteous everytime we needed their help.
The hotel advertises free shuttle to strip, but doesn't specify that it has one drop off location. I was under the impression it went anywhere on the strip.
central location and big rooms. Fast internet. I´d stay there again.
Nothing bad at all.
Excellent hotel. It looks like a normal motel from the outside, but the rooms were extremely spacious and comfortable. My room included a living area and kitchenette as well as the bedroom and bathroom. Clean and nicely decorated. Not The Ritz, but much better than most motels, and an incredible deal for the price.
It was a little cold at night. I was too tired to request an extra blanket - it would have been nice to have extra bedding readily available.
It was a pleasant stay and convenient to the Convention Center. The high speed internet was more like dial up, at least in my room, but otherwise it was all I needed for my business stay.
The high speed internet.
The room was large and clean. We loved that it had a fridge and a bathtub.
The hotel registration are was too smokey. Would not stay here again because of the smoke.
The set up of the bedroom and the casino in the hotel
Some bartenders and waitresses need to be nicer to customers or find another job
It was very quiet.
No complaints here.....
The Mardi Gras Hotel & Casino is located in Las Vegas and offers guests somewhere to stay that is convenient and doesn’t cost a ton of money. The hotel strives to provide value to its guests and give them added conveniences that they won’t get from other area hotels.
All of the 314 rooms at the Mardi Gras Hotel & Casino have living spaces that are separated out from the sleeping areas. There are Double Queen Rooms, King Rooms, and Queen Rooms. They all have bar stools and a counter area to sit at. Business travelers can use the space for work, or anyone can use the surface for eating a meal. The rooms have refrigerators, TVs, and private bathrooms. The design is comfortable and simple.
The hotel has a 24-hr restaurant and pub called Bon Temps Cafe. There are TVs for watching sports games and video slot machines built into the bar. Order for any meal of the day. Beyond the hotel, Las Vegas has a world of culinary wonderment. There are restaurants and bars all over the city, many of which are open around the clock.
Mardi Gras Hotel & Casino has a lot to do right at its location. Outside the hotel though, guests can take in a show, go to a concert, walk the famous strip, check out Fremont Street, go shopping for anything, watch the fountains at the Bellagio, and the list goes on and on.
The Mardi Gras Hotel & Casino is a great value location to stay in Las Vegas for business or pleasure. All of the action of the Strip is just a quick complimentary shuttle ride away from this hotel’s doors.
