It was a pretty good stay
Staff was friendly. It was worth our money. Having a pool, spa, gym, arcade, theater, bowling alley, a bingo room and of course the casino.
What sucked was that it had no fridge or microwave to reheat or keep our food cool. They also were fixing a room without giving us a headsup, although they did warn us about the window cleaning service. And the buffet was a bit pricey too. Other than that, it was a fun experience.
Had everything we needed.
Think the only thing that was missing was keno.
Freindly staff, located close to the airport, ideal for short stop over, lots of facilities such as bowling, cinema, bars, restaurants, free parking
everything under one roof
wish there was more around the hotel.
There was a lot of options, did not need to leave the hotel for anything
wish there was a way to access the bowling centers without having to go to the main floor.
Very clean. Nice atmosphere. Lots of family things to do, not just a casino.
$21 resort fee. We only stayed overnight and did not use any of the pool facilities.
Room air too dry, pillow too hard. I kept waking up every hour with a dry mouth.
Big hotel. Had a bowling alley, multiple resturants, nice pool and hot tub. The buffet was some of the best food I've had. Comfort of the bed wasn't too bad and parking was great. Room was quiet.
Prices on food were high but it was Vagas so that's to be expected.
Large, clean rooms
I love the location of Southpoint. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of, and there is free parking close by. Check-in was easy and painless. The rooms are clean, large, and quiet. Comfy beds and accommodating staff. I ordered room service breakfast each morning. The meal was supposed to arrive in 40 minutes or less, and actually came within 20 minutes each morning. We ate in three other restaurants while there. Don Vito's was disappointing. Halibut was over cooked and the service was dismal. The other two restaurants were very good and the staff was wonderful. Will definitely stay there again.
Don Vito's Italian Restaurant was overpriced for the quality of food and service. We were seated and not greeted until my husband finally caught someone as the walked by over 10 minutes later. We then has an over cooked meal with poor service. We were a table of six middle-aged adults ordering premium cocktails and expensive wine (when we could get someone to serve our table). Our server took our order then disappeared unti it was time to bring the check. Thank goodness we had a wonderful bus boy who brought us our food.
Midnight bowling 24 hour breakfast/lunch/dinner Reasonable prices for both food and activities Comfortable surroundings Coupon book
Room didn't have a refrigerator Some rooms don't get a nice view Majority of the restaurants weren't 24 hours
Luxury Rooms and Great Value
The Rooms were as good as most hotels in Vegas that are 2 to 4 times the price. There are great places to eat from steak and shake to fine dining. The casino is affordable as well as the family friendly bowling alley and movie theater.
The Hotel is a bit of a drive from the strip, however an Uber ride is about $15 and you can sleep soundly without the noise and lights all night long.
The room was excellent, the buffet excellent ant the Coronado excellent.
The Wi-Fi, as provided by the resort fee, was sporadic.
Opened in late 2005, this 25-story hotel and casino is just east of I-15, on the South Strip, 5 miles from the airport, and 9 miles from the Las Vegas Convention Center.
