10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious junior suite for 4
Cons: No windows just skylights Microwave but nothing to use in it No silverware or other utensils either
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff. David was very helpful with information on wine tasting, restaurants etc. Parking simple, secure parade owned by hotel one block away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We thought the breakfast was a little pricey until we saw it. Bounteous options, beautifully prepared and presented, and staff that really went above and beyond all expectations. The hotel is a perfect choice for travelers: crisp, modern interior, spotlessly clean, great lighting. It offers an excellent location just steps from great restaurants. Perhaps most important, it was VERY quiet. We never heard traffic or another guest.
Cons: We had a difficult time with checking in. First the clerk was adamant that she couldn't check us in without our passports while I was desperately trying to explain that I would have luggage and passports if she would just tell me how to get our car to the property (key streets were closed due to a celebration). Then we were assigned to a room that was occupied. The hotel upgraded our room and comped our breakfast, so they do want to provide good service.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location with parking. Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was very good with eggs cooked to order. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our 2nd time here.
Cons: Nothing. One small thing that would have made our stay even better - if we could help ourselves and get a cup of tea after a busy day.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely building. Great location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location! We were in the middle of all the action. There was a festival while we were there and were entertained by Las Gigantes, or giant figures in elaborate dress. I am sorry to say I forget the name of the man who checked us in, but he was the most friendly and knowledgeable person I have ever met. He really should be manager someday, he was so good.
Cons: Nothing could have been better! I even liked that the small band of trumpeters practiced in the square outside the hotel in the morning!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and the staff were very nice. Would definitely go back.
Cons: Nothing to say
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast very good as always. Great location. Friendly staff. We love this hotel & have stayed many times en route to our destination.
Cons: Tea/Coffee in the room please!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, modern hotel in a historic building, just steps from the main pintxos area and other great dining options (check out Tondeluna -- definitely have the bread, which comes with a barrel of butter).

8.3 Excellent
Pros: room good size, with a good size bathroom , clean
Cons: bed was unconfortable and making noise
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great, attentive and welcoming. The room very comfortable and quiet. If you don’t opt for the full buffet breakfast, there is a small locale next door for a simpler breakfast at a reasonable price. The location is excellent with parking available very close to the hotel.
Cons: Can’t think of anything to improve.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent so kind helpful and friendly...Elisa and her colleague who wears the spectacles ((- cannot recall her name were extremely helpful when our luggage did not arrive from previous hotel. Making phone calls and made all attempts to find out what exactly went wrong . We had problems printing n oil arfing card they also successfully printed it for us These ladies are so suited to their role and understood when someone is in a foreign country with little of the language. Issues can get misunderstood and it can be frustrating for both parties. Just want to e say well done to them and showing kindness and concern They are excellent staff. Thanks again.
Cons: Everything was great. Lots of pillows and coverings for bed which was nice as they were needed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptional; kind, informative and multilingual. The hotel itself is beautiful with really comfortable beds and air conditioning. Breakfast was good. Good parking on site. The winery tour is not to be missed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great and very nice bodega hotel. Private parking, convenient check-in, friendly staff. Large and clean room with access to a small terrace. Nice and quiet place. It is especially worth noting about the excursion to the production and tasting of local wine, which is offered as a compliment to all guests. Typically, such an excursion for tourists costs from 16 to 22 euros in Rioja. Therefore, this is a very valuable gift for any guest. Even for this I can give the hotel an excellent rating. Otherwise, the service was also excellent.
Cons: Unfortunately, breakfast is not included. Room equipment requires a little renovation. The nearest city is about 15 minutes by car. Nevertheless, I can safely recommend this hotel

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and private
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well located basic hostel with nearby parking at 12E. Eventhough in city the room was quiet.
Cons: Parking about 400 m away.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Next to a Catholic Church
Cons: We arrived to what seemed like construction happening in the next room and it lasted for about 1.5 hours. The host of the hostel didn’t tell us where to find the Camino or how far off the Camino we were.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is in the heart of Logrono, and the staff was really helpful and considerate. The rooms are clean and cosy, and the floor is secured with 2 locks.
Cons: However, the building next to the room - which shares a common wall, apparently - was undergoing reconstruction. There was drilling and hammerring during working hours - therefore, no sleep after 08:30 h. I understand this is outside of the property's control; however, it was a huge downer for our stay.
7.0 Good
Pros: Close location from bus station and easy walk to the old town.
Cons: Beds were basic so an upgrade in bed and sheets would be nice.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: Shower regulator was broken, only scalding hot water. Bummer when you need a shower. Asked for a 10 euro refund after they tried and failed to fix it. Seems the steady stream of pilgrims is providing money regardless of the upkeep. Go figure.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very near bus station.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to bus station and central to town
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great price. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy. A perfect night rest and alternative to a hostel for the Camino. Would stay again.

Pros: Great location
Cons: Bathroom was dated and showed signs of water damage.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is close to the old town and reasonably priced for the quality of accommodation. I would recommend this hotel
5.4 Okay
Pros: The room was spotless clean. Staff was friendly
Cons: Very overpriced. I could feel the springs in the bed, the curtains didn't close totally, the view from the window was the back of a building.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable and bedding was high quality. Location was great for shopping and the old town
Cons: Garage was good but very tight and quite expensive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet for 10 euros was good deal. Spacious enough room, big bathroom, great location, nice staff. A good value overall.
Cons: The ac vent in my room blew straight into my face which i hate. Turning the vents didn't fix it. Lost one night on sleep.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very. Enteral location with lovely big rooms. Also very quiet with very comfortable beds. The male staff member who runs the bar and breakfast area was very professional with a lovely manner.
Cons: We had to ask to have the bath towels changed as they were grubby. This was done very quickly even though reception did not appear to believe why. The male Receptionist was a bit cool in manner.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The bath after doing the Camino
Cons: The first guy was a bit abrupt but the hotel was so comfortable
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location superb lots of bars/restaurants nearby
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The first room 209 was below everthing we have experienced on our two Caminos. Badly maintained furnitures, beds so old and soft that sleeping in them would have hurt our spines. The bathroom old old fashion and no maintenance done for years? So asked for a different room and where lucky to have been offered 605. That room was renovated some time ago and was in much better shape. All in all.... still not a 4 star hotel and the attempt to store us in 209 totally inacceptable. 605 is okay but compared to rooms we had in other casa rurals still below. Breakfast was above standard, especially the freshly prepared cakes served by the kitchen’s chef.
Cons: The attempt to store pilgrims in such a torn down room is shameful.
7.1 Good
Pros: Spacious room, comfortable beds, nice bathroom.
Cons: Could hear doors from other rooms closing but not a problem during sleeping hours. Would have enjoyed a coffee maker in the room.

Pros: Location close to centre of town. Close to Calle Laurel where good eating can be found.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an excellent hotel. The staff really helped us so much (they spoke excellent English and did not make fun of my pathetic Spanish), we could not have done our Rioja visit without them, nor made our super early train. The location is perfect, just on the outer edge of the old town. It is just off the famous Laurel street, which we found too crowded, but the perfect access point to the rest of the delightful old town. We had an interior room, which was very quiet with really comfortable beds. We did not have the breakfast, but had a snack of coffees and bocadillos (sandwiches) at the restaurant that were really great. Highly recommend.

Cons: Parking is an issue! Be awear that the hotel’s parking is very tight (you need to be an experienced driver) and crowded (recomend book in advance the parking place) On the hallway smelled like wet carpet...maybe they just didn’t dryed it well after washing it
7.7 Good
Pros: This hotel was excellent in every way, I stayed one night. The cost was very good for the excellent service and attention. They even assisted in getting our taxi which was at 12 midnight, to the train station.

Cons: No elevator.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable with easy access to the city centre restaurants and facilities. Good and near to the central railway station. Good place to stay for peace and quiet on the Camino
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good air con, pity it only worked with the key in the slot. Good location to train station (10 mins). A launderette was close by too (Google it) 10 mins walk to the main Cathedral and bars.
Cons: Arriving from a 17mile Camino walk to be given a 4th floor room. The lift was tiny and we had to walk up with all our gear. Hardly a smile from the front man on reception. I didn't like them writing my credit card number on their copy of the invoice either. I complained to the lady on reception but it was not destroyed. Instead, I got told it was held "securely". Not a good practice. Tiny bathroom with a useless 1/3rd size bath with shower.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful
Cons: The shower
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here whilst on the Camino Santiago. Friendly and helpful staff, very central location, comfortable bedroom.
Cons: Nothing, all was fine.
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The AC was leaking water onto my pillow in the first room I booked. The receptionist handled it really well. He gave me a new, bigger room immediately and so no complaints there, however the AC is the new room wasn’t working properly either. It was very hot and the AC struggled to cool the room even when set to 17 degrees so I didn’t sleep a lot. I didn’t complain about the AC as it was too late and I was too tired. Overall not a bad place to stay. I would stay again.
Cons: Air con
7.9 Good
Pros: It was easily accessible and quiet at night. I must say that hobby air was an amazing and excellent receptionist. He made me feel welcome immediately, as if I were a guest in his own home.

Pros: Location. Was close to old part. Used free parking across the roundabout from hotel. When approaching by car, set satnav to Calle Norte which will take you to car park across the roundabout from the hotel. Staff very pleasant. A few cafes close by for breakfast.
Cons: A little more light. The lighting was a bit dim.

Cons: Beds were a bit hard.....linens divine!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Position, comfortable, cleaness.
Cons: Garage is totaly uncomfortable for biger car.Staff could be a little bit kinder.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location and comfortable bed
Cons: I specifically chose this hotel because it listed on site parking as a 13€ option. I booked specifying the need for parking. When I arrived I was told the car park was full and I had to park about 500m away leaving my car overnight in an open street car park. My car was full of high value camera equipment. I complained to reception about the lack of parking and my booking request saying I required a place only to end up in an argument with receptionist who insisted there was parking. I said I would therefore bring my car back to the hotel. ‘But the parking is full’ I was told..... ‘so there isn’t parking?’ Apparently there are 17 parking places for the 107 room hotel. You should assume therefore that you are unlikely to get a parking place. More to the point the staff just wanted to shout and argue the matter with me rather than simply say sorry and finish the matter. A really disappointing attitude that I have not come across in many years. Customer service is something that has not reached this hotel yet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was quite and hotel easily accessible and adjacent to good restaurants and tapas bars
Cons: On site parking
7.9 Good
Pros: Central location, easy to book in, friendly staff

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good, which is important to me. It was a buffet and there was a lot of choice, with fresh fruit like water melon and pineapple. I love tortilla for breakfast and there was cheese (I don't eat meat) and a good selection of bread and pastries. I also like a coffee machine so you can get your own without having to ask. My daughter liked the availability of almond milk. The beds were very comfortable, the room was just right with a very nice bathroom. The hotel is right on the edge of the old town so very easy to walk to and a few minutes from the tourist office. I was very happy. It had all the things I wanted, such as a lift, a safe and a mini bar and space for clothes plus two desks.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
7.0 Good
Pros: the location was excellent with good parking easy access to shops, restaurants and bar very close to places of interest to tourists such as the guganheim breakfast was good

Pros: The most amazingly comfortable bed .....

Pros: Great location for both bar and pinchos areas.

Pros: Great location! Friendly staff. Incredible city with wonderful shops. A gem!
Cons: While I loved the location, the night life was a bit loud (wine festival) which made sleeping a bit difficult and getting a cab the next morning impossible.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful boutique hotel in the old part of town. Staff was great! Above and beyond. The front desk attendant lent me her personal umbrella, when I asked to borrow one from the hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property was a good location & very clean. Staff great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to the tapas grazing district that makes a visit to Logroño worthwhile.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: As 80 Euros went missing from our suitcase, we started not to like things.
Cons: 80 Euros went missing from one of our suitcases. We are confident it was in our suitcase before we entered the hotel because more than one of us checked this. We found the management unable to take responsibility for this, with Marta Del Valle telling us that it was 'impossible'. I thought I could trust the 'four star' hotel, but instead they took advantage of the traveller and tried to tell us it had gone elsewhere when we knew it had gone missing at Hotel Gran Via. Unfortunately, all innocent and hardworking members of staff at the hotel become under suspicion, however we want the member of staff who stole our money to realise that we are confident they stole our 80 Euros at Hotel Gran Via and we will write about this bad experience in our review so perhaps for others who had money/items missing but could not be sure that the hotel cannot be trusted possibly because of 1 member of staff and for future customers who do not want their cases searched for money/items which could be taken. All the usual comments: lock cases, don't put money in cases, use the safe, if that can be trusted for valuables, we even see some people putting a type of cellophane wrapping on to seal cases, if your rushing to a function like we were and do not secure valuables don't expect to see them when you get back at hotel Gran Via, if you have had something go missing but was sure it was at the hotel but not 100%, or elderly and can get confused at times, at Hotel Gran Via they will tell you it was impossible!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms clean great location
Cons: No iron
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location Very comfortable beds
Cons: Parking and breakfast was a bit expensive.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, quiet and nice. Very good location.
Cons: Parking space was too narrow. It was difficult to park in the hotel designated carpark. When we spoke to jotel staff about our difficulties rhey suggested parking in the public car park which was right opposlte the hotel-it was very close, convenient, more parking space and safe. Price wise public car park costed the same as hotel caR park -€20/day.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, courteous staff
Cons: The first room offered had a strong cigarette smoke odor. The staff promptly replaced it should not have happened. Amenities like a small hair conditioner and skin lotion were not offered and I missed them ...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff is lovely
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern and clean, bed very comfortable.
Cons: Hot food for breakfast was cold and appeared to have been our for a long time.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, not far from bus station and old town. The staff is very nice and helpful but need to be more careful! I think more people would like to come if they have a better arrangement about the free visit they offer even they need to pay for that!
Cons: They are supposed to give us a free cellar visit , that 's one of the reason why we picked the hotel. However, I have email them about the details but couldn't get response. When we arrived, we found that the visit time didn't suit our itinerary, we need to find another one which they suggested us to take a bus and walk for 20 min. When we got off the bus, the google map showed the walk was 1 hr 45 min and we were in the middle of nowhere, so we walked for around 45 or more after asking and asking. We arrived place after someone called a taxi for us! If the woman in the reception didn't say only 20 min walk from the bus stop, we may not go like this! Walking under the big sun and heading to nowhere!

7.9 Good
Pros: Nice location, clean facility.
Cons: Do not try to park a car at the hotel, as there is a very small car elevator and then tiny parking spaces in the garage. HARD mattress. A/C unit did not work well. No wash cloth, and when asked for one, the desk staff offered a shrink-wrapped sponge. Cleaning staff took it away the next day without replacing it for us.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: First and foremost location, breakfast, helpfull personnel speaking good English, view from the highest floor at old town.
Cons: Only best memories, nothing to mention.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We were finishing our stage of the Camino in Logroño so the location was great, just over the bridge as you arrive into the city. The hotel is also 5-10 minutes from the main tapas’ streets and this suited us too ie a short stroll away. The jacuzzi and sauna were great facilities and the spa/gym areas were spotless. The breakfast buffet offered reasonable choice and the staff were friendly/helpful throughout. The room was clean, with comfortable beds and nice sink/mirror space in the bathroom.
Cons: I think we may have been unlucky in our room but I found it quite dark and lacking in natural light.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room and shower were pretty spacious. It was convenient after a long day on the Camino but not in the center of the old city.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
