Location. Nice breakfast.
The room was very small old furniture.5 flights of stairs to reach it.Some part time staff need urgent training.

A good location, quite eatable (for UK) breakfast, the room #7 (twin beds) was really not bad (quiet and of a good size), at first we have occupied the room #16 located just under the roof - it was tooooo small and with a mouse living inside, that mouse ate our bisciut on that Halloween night )))

Very convenient for the station where we arrived in London (Paddington). We were able to leave our cases in a secure room both between our arrival & check-in and between our checkout and departure. We were able to change our room to a ground floor one, to avoid having to carry our cases up starirs (there was no lift).
We had to ask twice for an extra pillow and for a tumbler for the bathroom. Breakfast choice was rather limited (cereal was classed as part of the "continental" breakfast, but we did get some muesli, rather grudgingly granted), and the cooked breakfast was warm rather than hot.
