The breakfast was excellent. We particularly liked the breakfast requirement list we received at check in where each guest could order their breakfast in advance. We liked the breakfast bar with a good selection of cereals, yogurts and fruit. The price was excellent. We were a little reluctant to stay in a b&b after a poor experience a long time ago in Blackpool but this experience restored our faith in a less corporate environment. Particularly loved the tartan blue carpet, the honesty bar, the books and games and decor in the lounge gave a real homely feeling . Jason was faultless as front of house host - we could not have asked for more. He engaged with our twins immediately and we felt valued and appreciated as guests. Communication was also spot on; loved the text message informing us that our room was ready early if we needed it. Location was great for Tigis as we were attending a friend's special birthday party. Arrival coffee in the lounge, location maps and the world clocks on the wall and the tourist information in the breakfast room the extra touches that made it special.
Nothing really that we didnt like which is saying something as we can be quite critical. It is important to acknowledge good service and accommodation as people can be quick to complain but less forthcoming when acknowledging a great stay.

It was very homely, spotlessly clean and Mel cooks up a great fresh start your day right breakfast. Jason was a pleasure to talk with, very knowledgeable about the local area. We will definitely use the Fairmile again.
Actually the only thing I found a little OTT and this is hind sight picky were the safety signs. As a HSE practitioner there are systems available (including home made) that are more attractive and less intrusive.

Excellent location with parking right outside. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The owners made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Would definitely stay here again.
