7.5 Good
Pros: Amazing features, great facilities and reasonable price
Cons: Staff could be a bit more friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel
Cons: Ordered a Pizza for the room, cost £20, was told £15 for the pizza and £5 to get it delivered to my room, think that's a bit to high
8.0 Excellent
Pros: lovely quiet location yet not all that far from Macclesfield. Beautiful countryside all around with a fantastic view of Manchester in the distance. Great swimming pool and gym facilities.
Cons: Rooms are pretty average but the rest of the hotel makes up for it.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything the late check in / early check out (very old fashioned) noisy external of the room creaky corridors, staff cleaners banging around late and early, poor access routes to the rooms, breakfast- no hot water no tea and coffee, no fresh juice, intolerant staff, poor service. lack of choice. the staff were obviously restricted by the hotel process and procedures which are very dated and totally lack customer care and experience.
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff friendly. New room new carpets etc
Cons: Needs updating. All looks work in progress
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful location and friendly staff.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Spa, was nice.
Cons: Completely overpriced. The room was just OK. Spa was nice, but showers were running cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel and facilities - plenty on offer. The hotel had a couple of suggested walks, we did the 6.5 mile option from the hotel and it was lovely. We had dinner on one night and afternoon tea included - this felt like good value.
Cons: Check in was poor - our booking apparently could not be found and we were not offered any reassurance that we would have a bed for the night. We were not given any information about the bottle of wine we got or how to book dinner/afternoon tea.
7.0 Good
Pros: That there was a spa and a restaurant. Grand building close to Manchester for shopping and peak district for walking.
Cons: Please take that awful gold glitter panelling down in the lift aswell as the plastic flowers surrounding the reception area. They do not do justice to te building. The desks/tables need removing on level 1.The floral carpet and decor need replacing and updating on level 1. You need an interior designer provider ideas/suggestions on what compliments this grand building. It is clear that bedrooms have been updated. We were in 142.please take the awful black plastic ormanent off the wall. The bedroom was otherwise lovely. A main meal is expensive at £19.00. The mushroom soup starter was delicious. Coffee is to expensive at 4.00 each. Further work required in the spa area. It's far too dark and disjointed. More lighting required. Please undertake the work as this is a fabulous building. These are just tips.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Meals were fantastic, hotel and staff in top shape. Just sorry I couldn't stay another day and walk the exquisite grounds. Well done all!
7.7 Good
Pros: Staff very helpful, a quite location of hotel, plenty of parking spaces, breakfast is excellent lots of choice, a few minuets drive to a local village named Bollington which has a few restaurant's and cafes.
Cons: Some doors tended to slam shut so was noisy in the evenings/bed time.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: I love Mottram Hall although the spa area is currently being redeveloped and we were not told about this when we booked. We have stayed here many times before so would still recommend it but be aware the spa is not due for Completion until March 2020. There is still a lovely pool available but we will wait until everything is finished before we book here again. The service in the bar can also be a little eccentric but this just adds to the charm of what is a really lovey hotel!
6.7 Good
Pros: Lovely location fairly close to where i was working. Would have been a quiet location was it not for the building work going on directly outside our room.
Cons: The hotel was a bit tired looking. It could have done with a bit of an update in places. Not all the hotel but there were definitely places that had seen better days. The dinner in the restaurant was quite tasty but the portions were very small indeed. Even after 3 courses i was left feeling hungry and i wouldn't class myself as a big eater. Very expensive too. Really didn't appreciate being woken up with building work outside before it was even 7am!! An overall disappointing experience for the cost.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room 349 - the Spencer Suite is wonderful and the hotel - despite the spa being refurbished - is still lovely and quiet, has a great feel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Setting was fantastic. Room and property were in an immaculate state. Staff were extremely professional and hospitable. Restaurant was excellent. The breakfast ( included in price) was superb.
Cons: Couldn't fault them on anything.

Pros: Size of room. Condition of room. All appliances worked. Cleanliness of room was excellent

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: The locatie is nicely located and I arrived quite late but still was helped wel and good enter my room fast.
Cons: There is a big difference between the images online and the real deal. The hotel is outdated, smells a bit, paint falling from the walls, torn carpet, etc. Breakfast was disappointing in my opinion. Besides the fact that it was not presented in a pleasant way, the choice was very limited and you can question the quality. If you compare that to the price, this is a big setback.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful but I could not see full hotel or amenities due to the Coronavirus. The value was very good for the room.
Cons: Not able to enjoy the full extent of the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just perfect for everything, given the situation
Cons: Lovely old building in a nice setting
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location was great. That was the only thing I was pleased with.
Cons: Rooms were unfortunately shabby and dirty. Only 2 lights worked out of about 6 in the room. Dried urine still on the bathroom floor. White stains on the carpet and chair. Just generally unclean and tatty. Didn't dare eat there because of the hygiene so can't comment on food. Moved rooms because of the issues. Still just as dirty. Bed was two old mattresses pushed together and was uncomfortable. I felt very let down about this stay as the pictures looked nice. Would not rate as good value for money and would not go back.

7.0 Good
Pros: the hotel was beautifully decorated, lovely colours. also very clean. loved the location and being able to hear the river running below during the night.
Cons: I did not think the breakfast worth the money. there was very little on offer unless one wanted a cooked option.
7.0 Good
Pros: The restaurant has been done up to a really good standard. Fabulous location for wandering around Prestbury.
Cons: The food at the restaurant was quite poor and we sent a dish back and didn't finish the other. The room we stayed in was clean and comfy but the floorboards were extremely loud and the shower pane didn't stay closed so the floor ended up getting wet. Overall good value for money.
7.0 Good
Cons: No mirror in the room ( apart from the bathroom) also it says dial 0 for reception. Bit difficult this as there isn't a telephone in the room!!!!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: I can't write my usual opinion as the circumstances were exceptional due to being stuck in the UK due to the Covid 19 breakout. Staff were amazing in the circumstances and breakfast was a lifesaver.
Cons: First room was small and noisy overlooking the busy dual carriageway. We moved to a bigger and quieter room. Some pillows were a bit lumpy.
6.0 Good
Pros: Was the only hotel in the Manchester airport area excepting bookings during current COVID situation. Room was clean, reasonably big (could walk around the bed) hot shower over the bath, staff pleasant enough but not much contact.
Cons: Left early for airport so no breakfast - accommodation basic as per Best Western hotel - no frills, but not the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Suspect it would take longer than 15 minutes to the airport in normal rush hour traffic.
7.0 Good
Pros: I have stayed here a few times now and don’t have a bad word to say the rooms are very clean the beds are comfortable, you also get shower gel and soap that smell amazing
Cons: ,the only thing was the room opposite to ours was a woman shouting in the corridor she was very loud and this was going on at 1 o’clock in the morning I had work the next day and she kept me up but overall my stay was splendid and will stay here again
5.4 Okay
Pros: Staff were very helpful and friendly
Cons: We arrived here for a one night stay with our 4 year old daughter. On arrival we found a large group of drunk people outside in various states and a similar situation inside. With more than one party taking place the venue was loud and we were kept awake until 4am. Not a pleasant experience.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Cleanliness is not upto the mark... had couple of times complients
Cons: Average overall...
6.0 Good
Pros: We were visiting just before lockdown due to a funeral. The reception staff were very friendly and clear about sanitising and restrictions in the hotel. The exec room with a sofa bed was huge but was a bit tired in decor. They kindly gave us breakfast as part of our room rate which the chef did well for us considering they were very restricted in serving. Very good location for Altrincham
Cons: The rooms and bathrooms are a bit tired but the exec room was large. We werent able to visit the bar due to social distancing so not able to comment on the bar areas.

7.0 Good
Pros: Staff were very polite and helpful and which makes the stay enjoyable
Cons: Very Disappointed with lack of choice for breakfast especially being the The Village Hotel Chain.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Everyone was polite and friendly as we walked in. The room looked nice as we walked in. The bathroom was clean as well.
Cons: The heating stopped working, we noticed during the night but thought we are in bed so we will be fine and probably it will fix itself but when we woke up it was freezing. I rang reception and I was told someone would be up to check and then she said some rooms are on heating timer and some aren’t. I have stayed in many hotels and never heard this before and even if they have such rooms why such wasn’t asked or stated whilst booking. For example which room would you like? With timer or without? No one came and even though we paid for late check out we left early because I was cold. There was no hair dryer either in the room. Never coming back again. I have been to Ashton village couple of times and it never disappointed us. Due to current situation we wanted to be around quiet area for my birthday and this was a led down.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good place to stay excellent breakfast and food comfortable bed
Cons: All ok
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked an accessible room as I was travelling with my elderly mother, who has trouble walking. She was very happy with the comfort of the room and said the bathroom was probably the best she's found in any hotel anywhere in the world in terms of accessibility. We were staying during the party season just prior to Christmas and the staff were kind enough to ensure that we were housed on the top floor (accessible by lift) to ensure we were as far from the noise as possible. We really appreciated the extra care that went into making our stay comfortable.
Cons: There wasn't much we could fault with the hotel. The only thing we did feel was that the restaurant food we had at dinner time could have been a little better with a little extra attention to a few small details - for example, we ordered soup and pate for starters and found that we were given a rather measly amount of bread. The soup was advertised as being served with toasted pumpkin seeds on top, but none could be seen when it arrived. The mains were fine, but we found the dessert selection unimpressive and over priced for what felt like quite mass produced fare. A little effort to improve the quality of the food and presentation in the restaurant would have made our otherwise very good experience quite exceptional.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ideal location with plenty of parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Warm, reasonable size room with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom with walk-in shower - all very clean. Breakfast was part served and part buffet, good selection and was very good. Public areas all nicely decorated and very clean. Good bar with comfortable seating.
Cons: There wasn’t really anything that we didn’t like, but would perhaps feedback that whist the breakfast was very good, the cooked food could have been hotter.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great bedroom
Cons: Very pleasant stay. Dining room sparsely furnished more like a cafe. But it functioned satisfactorily.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room and ambiance superb
Cons: Parking for disabled no easy to get into
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Big comfy bed
Cons: Rooms need more coffee, milk etc

Pros: The room was a decent size, clean, comfortable and good value for money. The location was convenient.

Cons: Food was extremely overpriced and felt very bland inside all cream. Mouldy bread at breakfast and shards of glass in the pepper grinder. Safer to go for a premier inn!

Pros: Breakfast was very good, enjoyed immensely. The room was comfortable, and We slept well. it was close to the function we attended and the staff were very helpful and friendly in terms of helping us find a cab company to travel to and from the event.
Cons: The shower was very poor. To get any warm water we had to turn the hot tap down to a dribble. An extra chair would have been good, and if it wasn't for the heater tucked away in the wardrobe?... it would have been a very cold room

7.0 Good
Pros: the hotel was beautifully decorated, lovely colours. also very clean. loved the location and being able to hear the river running below during the night.
