Pros: Well to start with, location was perfect it was on mall road. Food was delicious, staff was courteous. It was impeccably clean. Everything was superb. Loved our stay there.

Pros: A brilliant hotel to stay at Manali! Perfect place to enjoy both Mall road market and the rustic charm of old Manali and it's cafe's. Staffs are very polite and we'll behaved. Definitely a 5-star stay, I would say.

Cons: The bed couldn't entirely accommodate my 1.97m stature despite getting a free room upgrade. The room was a bit cold The shower couldn't get warm No standard daily room cleaning The mentioned location on this site isn't entirely accurate, it's not on Mall Road.

Pros: Good food and rooms are ok. Only issue is in winter no enough heating inside rooms. Electricity goes time to time due to heavy snowing and then with electric generators they supply the power. Do not use duplex rooms in winter and heating is not enough to keep warm as room is big. In winter take small room and u can stay 3 ppl in one room with extra bed. That’s better. Summer you can use duplex room as no need heating.

Cons: It takes long time to get hot water and WiFi is like a snail in speed.

Pros: I have no complaints regarding the room or the staff or the amenities. Everything about this was perfect. They gave us the corner room which had windows on 2 sides giving mountain and garden views I had done a lot of research to book this property. Its a costly one if you compare with others, still I booked it. However, I had certain expectations from this place mentioned below which sadly were NOT met Date Stayed: 2-4 Feb

Cons: Coming to things I didn't like: (this is totally based on my personal choices and expectations) - Snow: The property had cleaned up all the snow from their garden and roofs. My prime objective was to see and enjoy snow right at the hotel. The worse being: This was the only hotel in the neighborhood to have cleared all the snow. Why?? Rating lowered to 9/10 - Trout: If you read through their restaurant reviews, these guys are famous for serving the Best Trout in Manali. I asked for trout at lunch, it was not there. Excuse given: Only fillets are available, not the whole fish. Fish is frozen and will be available at dinner. I went to enjoy trout at dinner, and Wooahh! Trout is not available again. You kidding me? Rating lowered to 7/10 With the above 2 expectations not met, the whole purpose of booking this property was the Lamest decision I have ever made - Food: Food is costly in Manali but here the prices are way too high. However, you can always walk to the Mall road and have decently priced food and buy your own drinks - Location: it has its Pros and Cons Pros being - it is very very near to the Mall road which gives you quick walking access to everything you need in Manali Cons being - the construction of too many hotels around this property blocks the mountain views in case you wish to take nice landscape photos Personally I felt I should have booked a hotel at a higher secluded ground, but the Pros of its location cannot be ignored Rating lowered to 6/10 - Check In: The check-in process could have been shorter. I would appreciate if the property allows the Guest to rest in their room before all the Form Filling and whatever formalities they wanted to do. Reason being: we came all the way from Mumbai to Delhi to Manali - a non-stop (train+bus) travel. The temperature in Manali was below 0 when we reached the hotel. We were not in a state to use a Pen and scribble details on a paper Rating lowered to 5/10 Recommendation: Nope.

Pros: Best options to stay in Manali , its a property 500 meter from mall road but in quiet side of city . Old manali cafe r a 10 min walk . Has beautiful lawns , and a great bar and lounge , breakfast in sun and dinner with a fire place - these were our hill holiday high points. Will definitely return to Jhonson.

Pros: If you are the one enticed always for Taj and orher 5 stars, this is the property which will definitely meet your desire. With all the amenities this is the hotel to respite. You can enjoy a few of there signature dishes which really melt down your hunger.

Pros: Breakfast was amazing and the staff at the Restaurant was very nice, polite and good. Idli sambhar and Paneer parantha were exceptionally good. Kamal needs to be appreciated for being a wonderful host at the restaurant.

Pros: The resort is splendid! We've got duplex rooms thanks to the manager. The rooms are spacious and with very nice moutain view. We have enjoyed the living room and balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel management team was very helpful and attentive. Very quiet at night, we slept with the murmuring of the stream. If you stay at this resort, don't miss the garden where you can see divers plants and rabbits. I've also enjoyed the pastas during dinner time which was cooked al dente.

Cons: There was no international plus in the room and no adaptor was available. It would be very helpful for intrenational travellers if the hotel can make adaptors available, if it's not feasable to update the wall plugs in the rooms.

Cons: Bed sheet and comforter was having stains and it was very uncomfortable us to sleep, On second day we went to velly and when we get back it was cold for us and I had requested for heater at reception but noone showed up to the room with heater eventually we had to sleep without heater. Room cleanness was very poor as there were hairs in each corner of the room. Behaviour of staff was unprofessional, I wanted to pay by card but the guy at reception emphasized in me to pay cash and eventually I paid partial amount through card and cash as receptionist showed me his pocket showing that he need cash which was rediculace.

Pros: Great location at an amazing price. The staff was so courteous and welcoming. Food was great as well. A 5 star experience (for lack of a higher star option)
