La Renaissance Hotel

The location is great , right by center downtown Marrakesh French quarter

I use the hotel many time , and had great experience checking with the previous staff , This time, different staff and It was very unfriendly and unprofessional checking, I have to wait for 15 min before they find my booking email . I requested one single big bed room , I had a twine beds room . Not very friendly when I asked for my receipt at reception on check out . Very unfriendly lady and uncooperative .

A really spacious, tidy room with double balcony and massive bathroom. Staff was really helpful and responsive although some did not speak a word of English nevertheless service was excellent, we had our 11month old baby with us and everytime I asked bar staff to wash our babies bottles and sterilise them they did it without a question and took a really good care of it when they could have said no, so that was very positive for us. Food was excellent, high quality, plenty to order from room service. Location of the hotel is perfect, close to everything withing a walking distance you have city centre, shops and restaurants.

There were tiny flies in the shower enclosure, I didn’t tell the staff but it was a bit annoying. Our room was facing the main road and noise was crazy lound from all the traffic and especially very loud music coming from the in-hotel club in the First floor(we were in the 4th), not ideal when staying with baby but it was ok if our baby was more sensitive that would have been a huge problem. No kettle in the room-again not ideal when staying with baby but this was not a problem as I mentioned staff was very helpful and supplied us with hot water in thermos.
