I was unable to rent a car. The address provided was incorrect, when I finally found the place I was there a few minutes and the guy said he couldn't read to me because it was 5:01 p.m. and they were now closed. Ridiculous

HERZ Goldmember nr.62347703 R.J.L. van Vliet The requisted car was not avalable and the only replacement they were willing to give me without extra paying was an open pick-up with no projection cover for the laugage. I rejected, and there was no other chose given to pay an extra addition fee for the only upgrade car available. I had no choice otherwise I had no car and was stranded with my family (wife + 3 children). I will make an official complaint about the hole situation.

They did not have a car ready for me. And told me I was 8th on the waiting list. They said they would call me but did not. They gave me a number for head office. This caused me huge disruption to my holiday. This is the first time Hertz has ever let me down. Not even an apology.

KAYAK
The Thrifty office was well signposted but it was a vacant, unfurnished shopfront. It was only a local mall security guard who told us that actually Thrifty operates out of the Hertz office (the word Thrifty is not anywhere), and even that is a third party company again. As a result, we have had to deal with 5 different companies to get a hire car. I suggest Kayak does not do business with Thrifty Mexico until this is resolved.

Extremely expensive 400 dollars for a Vw Vento for 3 days. Car was dirty inside and outside, brakes are noisy and driver’s window wouldn’t open, and then it wouldn’t close.

Clear charges at the time of reservations. Would like to know exactly how much is the total charge (including insurance and extras) at the time of reservation and not being told that’s what happen when I use booking.com or Expedia instead of using their web page. Price went from $303, plus $303 for different drop off to over a thousand dolls!!!.
