Pros:
Perfect for anyone looking to get some sleep in between flights. There is a walk way from the airport directly across from the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful.
Cons:
There were no signs within the airport directing you to the hotel so it is not the easiest to find.

Classic hotel with a massive lobby and hundreds of rooms, convenient to the airport (though industrial), but loud between rooms and in hallways. With many travellers arriving late and leaving very early for flights, there is about a 4-5 hour window of tranquility. Not really the hotel’s fault that guests are uniformly inconsiderate during night hours, but is the hotels fault that the doors slam hard and echo down the halls with every closure. Otherwise, rooms are nice.

I requested bottled water from staff numerous times yet never received it. The hotel is supposed to provide 2 free bottles that were never left in room. No vending machines or store to purchase on site. Had to walk to airport to purchase.

If you miss a flight connection in Mexico City and need to stay over the night, this is the place. If you are in terminal 1, take the sky bridge on the second floor near Puerto 3. If at terminal 2, there is a shuttle outside the baggage claim on the right and down a ramp outside. Good luck.

If you do not speak Spanish skip this hotel, the staff DO NOT understand English. The TV only has Spanish shows and god forbid you put on headphones someone will barge in to your room to make sure you are “safe” since housekeeping can’t read the do not disturb signs outside your room…. If I could give a rating below 0 that would much better describe this place.

We have stayed here many times. However, this will be the last one. He was extremely rude to our guests who went to visit us to the hotel. Hotel employee was belligerent, impolite towards me and my family. Unacceptable behavior.

Pros:
Its location: conveniently located and connected to the airport terminal.
Cons:
The facilities are rundown and urgently need refurbishing. The room carpet looks old and dirty. The marble floor hallways are cracked in some areas, the ceilings and walls show badly done paint jobs. Not what I would expect from a Camino Real Hotel
Okay

Pros:

Cons:
Food was burnt. Everything was old and falling apart. Valet Parking was the worst EVER. Lost my ticket and had to go through hell to get car back, they made me miss my flight, worst service ever.
Poor

Pros:

Cons:
weak/poor English. We could not find our room because it was in a different tower/building, due to no maps and the poor English we wasted 30 minutes wandering around dragging suitcases up and down elevators, very frustrating. The room was old.

Pros:
Breakfast was good but expensive
Cons:
We waited over 30 minutes for the shuttle bus to pick us up at the airport. When we arrived, we waited over an hour to check in because the line was so long and there were only three employees checking people in. We had already made the reservation and pre-paid, but still waited in line when there were others that either had not made reservations or had not paid. When we finally got our room key, the employee didn’t inform us that our room was in another tower, so we spent 15 minutes just looking for our room. There were no signs either indicating that our particular room number (and other) were in another tower.

7.4
Pros:
Literally 25 yards from the airport. Incredibly convenient if you have a morning flight. Friendly staff. No comment on the amenities, as we arrived late, went straight to bed, and woke up for our early flight.
Cons:
The air conditioning thermostat in our room was not functioning correctly. We had to chose between AC on full blast (way too cold to sleep) or AC off (way too hot/humid to sleep)z. Plus the beds were old and had springs poking us. It made for a really crappy night’s sleep.

8.8
Pros:
Having stayed in this hotel a number of times before (mostly because of its convenient location) by and large the hotel exceeded my expectations. It has been recently renovated, and the result is very good. My room was impeccable and in excellent condition, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom amenities well above average.
Cons:
The only thing I don't like is the lack of free Wi-Fi and the price of food in the La Huerta Cafe.
Excellent
8.2
Pros:
Well located for an airport overnight. Helpful, friendly staff.
Cons:
The room had a slight smell of mildew and the windows do not open. We turned off our A/C unit which seemed to help. It's the kind of place where drivers and bellhops are eager to take your bags from you and carry them short distances for you. I didn't have any cash on me and there were three times just on our arrival and check-in where I felt I should have tipped someone.
Good
6.0
Pros:
Convenient location with shuttle to and from airport. There is a pedestrian bridge to terminal 1.
Cons:
Everthing but the location. Old, run down. Needs new furnishings. And in true Camino Real fashion there are randon holes cut in the walls an patched terribly. The carpets are old.
Excellent
8.2
Pros:
It is physically connected to the airport (Terminal 1) by a short walkway which makes it very convenient for an otherwise chaotic Mexico City airport
Cons:
No coffee maker in the room which would have been a small addition. Also, not related to the hotel but rather the airport: this hotel is only connected to Terminal 1 but all Aeromexico/Delta flights operate out of Terminal 2 which is something like 3 miles away. There is an "AirTrain" connecting the terminals but it was not functioning. This forced me to take what is, basically, a public bus between the terminals which would be fine with the exception that they, literally, charge you MX $14 pesos to take you there and I did not have them in local currency. BIG HASSLE and completely unjustified. Shame on the airport administrators!!!!

6.5
Pros:
Beds were comfortable, shower hot, doormen and luggage guys very nice. Location very convenient to airport.
Cons:
Very disappointed daughter when found out pool was closed for maintenance....also ridiculous that a "nice" hotel charges extra for internet and refrigerator is locked up tight unless you call for a key. (When i mentioned the pool to the desk staff at least they gave us "free" internet access. ) The hotel restaurants were crazy expensive- a $20 personal pizza? Not even a continental breakfast nor coffee included with room. I thought the name Camino Real guaranteed a certain quality or luxury, but not so impressed.

The location is the main reason we always return to the Camino Real. It is at the airport, so there is no need for taxis nor any worry about traffic.
