Traveling from Tampa. The Ritz-Carlton on South Beach in Miami truly embodies luxury and style, perfectly reflecting the vibrant personality and high expectations of a visit to this iconic city. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Edwardo, who warmly checked us in and instantly made us feel at home. It was an excellent start to what would become one of our most memorable stays on South Beach. As we were celebrating our anniversary, Kathiavenia went above and beyond to prepare the room with thoughtful touches, making the occasion even more special. Flower petals on the bed, just over the top. It's those small, personalized gestures that set The Ritz-Carlton apart. During our stay, Alejandro was our go-to source for insider tips on where to go and what to do for fun in Miami. His recommendations were spot-on, and we appreciated having a local expert guiding us through the city's hotspots. Another standout team member was Sol, who made sure our breakfast experience was nothing short of perfect. The staff at The Ritz-Carlton not only provided impeccable service but also took the time to remember our names, and in return, we made sure to remember theirs. This personalized touch added an extra level of warmth to the entire stay. The hotel's inclusion of complimentary bike rentals was a delightful surprise, allowing us to explore the beautiful surroundings at our leisure. The free specialty coffee hour and complimentary champagne further exemplified the Ritz-Carlton's commitment to making guests feel pampered and appreciated. One of the most impressive perks was the $100 room credit that could be used anywhere within the hotel. It almost felt like we had won a secret contest, as we couldn't believe how many additional benefits and experiences were included in our stay. The rooms themselves were a blend of modern elegance and comfort, impeccably appointed with everything we needed. The beds were a dream, providing a restful night's sleep after long days of exploring Miami's attractions. What truly stood out was the hotel's family-friendly approach. We witnessed families being warmly welcomed for check-in as early as 9 AM, and we ourselves were able to enjoy a late checkout at 4 PM. This flexibility and consideration for guests' needs left a lasting impression on us, as it showed The Ritz-Carlton's commitment to ensuring their guests had the best possible experience. Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton on South Beach exceeded all expectations. Cons:At $400 a night, the view was horrible. The balcony felt like I was in some dump as I had to duck to look outside to the city and Fountainbleu was much cheaper and much much better with all the same services and more along with the same service...which was good.

Pros:Proximity to beach and Lincoln Mall. Our room was right off the pool which was super convenient. Front desk staff couldn't have been nicer especially when I disputed some charges at checkout out.
Cons:The facilities need maintenance. Particularly the pool area. Broken tiles and the bottom of the pool was chopping off in at least one large area. The bathroom also could use some maintenance. The vanity top had a chopper out of it and theme leftist was rusting in areas.

Pros:Location, pool area, room & bed comfort. It is located right out of the loud crowd on Ocean Drive, so it is a lot more chilled and relaxed. Overall, much better than all other hotels on South Beach.
Cons:I can't quite say it was a true 5 star experience in terms of appearance and for the premium price. But again, a lot better than the other hotels around.

Cons:The Spa experience was ok, Massage for a deep tissue was weak. The Sauna was not on, I turned it on but should be preheated for guests or what good is it. For $440 for 2 - 50 minutes massages I expect more.

Pros:The first night was a disaster. At about 5:45 p.m. I called down to report a loud fan/ motor annoying noise. They said they would send someone up. We left about 20 minutes later for a dinner reservation.When we came back later that evening it was late nothing had changed. we were to tied to do anything so we tried to go to bed. Sleep did not come for either of us easily and we were up a good part of the night. The next day I complained and the girl offered us a $50.00 credit and would move us down from the top floor in the same proximity. the noise was probably from the motors on the roof. Looking out after agreeing I saw all the fans from the building next door so I called back and said it was not acceptable. I was turned over to the Rooms manager (Emily) who was excellent we were moved closer to the front of the building, no noise good sleep a Ritz Carlton experience. First day terrible second day great. Not sure how to evaluate Sid Barish
