Loved the location, private beaches and spa Did not like the constant loud music (facilitating the larger groups that visited). I would say the resort is more for families and groups than couples. Also had drilling sounds above my room… also could hear “sounds” from other rooms.

Pros (+) Close to airport. Beaches were nice.
Cons (-) Service was horrible. Most staff was nice but many were not. Staff had attitude and acted as they were doing me a favor. I expected this to be a higher end hotel and did not feel that at all during my stay. Alcohol was watered down and not good. Would not recommend or go back.

Pros (+) The rooms and the food at Horizons was great. Check in was nice and easy. Arrived early and was given a room right away.
Cons (-) Gift shop overpriced and was charged double for my purchase. The bottle said $8.00 and was charged $14.00. The same bottle at the airport was $7.00. I purchased 4 bottles from the resort.

Pros (+) Beaches are nice.
Cons (-) The service was horrible. There were never towels in the room, or by the pool/beach. You wait FOREVER if you ask for anything. The staff is friendly but incompetent. The food is horrible. I couldn't wait to get home. The air conditioning in the hotel did not work in the hallways, it was sticky and humid. Just go to Mexico, same beach but with much better service and food.
