Pros: The entire Hotel was wonderful with beautiful artefacts everywhere collected by the French owner. All in all cannot recommend more highly. The photos used do not do it justice.
Cons: Nithing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great place and excellent service. People very friendly.
Cons: We only missed to have a fridge in the room.
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful grounds and view of the city. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast buffet on Sunday (additional cost) was amazing.
Cons: Limited value for money. Breakfast not included Nice hotel, but extremely expensive for what it offered. Pool was too cold swim, even with sun out. Far from city center (taxi or car required).
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel grounds are beautiful!
Cons: It’s too bad the standard rooms don’t match the quality of the hotel. Way overpriced. Especially coming from downtown Morelia where we payed less for luxury. This is more like a 3 star hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The view to the city is really nice. The hotel is beautiful and breakfast is the best one I had on my trip to Mexico!
Cons: You need a car to get to the hotel and to go to the city for sight seeing. It is not near the historical centre.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are gorgeous and the staff was incredibly helpful
9.6 Excellent
Pros: wonderful staff. quiet, good food.
Cons: Although the food is excellent it was often cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was really good and the beautiful grounds and views. The room was comfortable.
Cons: Coffee at breakfast was very weak.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I had read the front desk staff were less than friendly. They were great. All the staff were efficient and kind without being formal and stodgy.Had read a lot about the place so my expectation levels were pretty high... they were met and exceeded.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property, the location and the view are the best in town
Cons: The dining room was very cold
5.4 Okay
Decepcionante.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent !!! location the best choices in Morelia
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and service
Cons: The check in was rocky, as the hotel personnel could not find my reservation in their system. I had the booking.com confirmation but they were out of the executive suites. We were downgraded to a regular suite. Also, the workout room consisted of a single treadmill and two dumbbells.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view and decor
Cons: The bathtub was a bit awkward
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The suite was great and huge. There was a beautiful chandelier hanging from the ceiling. It had a great antique/modern balance. The shower was great, however the water kinda goes everywhere (but doesn't affect the room) and there is no privacy/curtain. The bath was also awesome. I recommend you bring some bubble gel to fully enjoy the bath. Oh and the bed was amazing! It was big, warm and so soft.
Cons: The only thing is that the air conditioning didn't seemed to work. It was a good thing that it didn't get that hot.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff and room were great.
Cons: The bathtub which is why I booked this hotel was. A huge disappointment. It’s more of a Roman bath with tiles - not a nice relaxing tub I was looking forward to. We sent both our meals at the restaurant back at dinner as they were only Luke warm and obviously reheated!!! There was lively music playing when we first sat down but this changed to a very loud soccer game - Awful and very off putting!! It’s a nice restaurant not a sports bar!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful, friendly and courteous - they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. The public spaces in the hotel were artfully decorated, offering serenity and elegance.
Cons: My room was an interior room with no windows and it was a bit dark and close - very very quiet though. If you prefer a light, bright room with windows, be sure to specify.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: breakfast delicious.
Cons: the hot water doesn't have regulator.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and service the location is great everything
Cons: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing went above and beyond
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable and I liked the fact that everything was nearby. Also liked that the view was great. I had a really nice view of the cathedral. It was so worth the money. I'll be staying there again.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is unmatched: it is in the portals in front of the cathedral. The hotel it's a beautiful 16th century mansion, splendidly remodeled with very good modern taste. The service is fast and very cordial. The bedrooms are spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated, with extremely clean sheets. The American breakfast, included, was sumptuous (copious and splendid),

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place is really nice. The attention of the owner is amazing.
Cons: The bathroom is small. I have a private room
7.9 Good
Pros: Quite garden. Friendly people. Good breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our host Raul was great, explained the history of the home and city. He also ordered us a taxi for an early morning departure and made sure we got up and in it by 5am. Breakfast was great too including fruit, pastries and delicious coffee. We chose this place based on the excellent hospitality reviews and prime location and were not at all disappointed on either front.
Cons: The beds were not the most comfortable but my sleep didn’t suffer. I do wish there was a large jug of drinking water instead of single serve plastic bottles.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast with a variety of fruits, selection of made to order main and teabags
Cons: Iow water pressure in shower
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the room was large and comfortable as was the hotel. the owner was fantastic , great recommendations and a great breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a fabulous plate of six fresh fruits which we poured yoghurt over and sprinkled with granola. Also included were assorted breads and great coffee and juice.
Cons: WiFi in our room was on and off but was strong in the courtyard. We visited in January and it was very cold.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was wonderful: A plate of fruit and sweet breads, then a choice from the menu. We enjoyed the classical music during breakfast. The common areas were lovely.
Cons: It would have been nice to have internet in the room, not just in the common areas. Also, we found the location to be quite noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the tranquility of the place. The atmosphere, is colonial and welcoming. The patio is nice to relax in the morning. My room was quiet, and honestly I was surprise since is in a main boulevard in MOrelia.I slept through the night all the way to the morning...almost missed my delicious breakfast.
Cons: At first., I was concerned because the door lock is old and I felt unsafe. Even, consider not staying,But after talking to Raul, and how he was always on top of the safety of the guests. the little issue did not bother me no more. Satying was a good decision.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent full breakfast included. The owner and his family are cordial and do their best to serve the guest. Beds are comfy and there was enough hot water. The place was reasonably clean and the room itself was spacious. It is fairly centric and on the main street.
Cons: The photos did not quite portray accurately the spaces so we were a bit surprised by the property which is an old family home that COULD be fabulous if some skillful decorating and rethinking the spaces were employed. It is not the somewhat elegant BnB that the website suggests. The front door is an issue. Attached bathroom incredibly small. No hand towels, washcloths, or glasses in the bath. Lighting is very low. But it is comfortable enough and the family are kind people.
Villa San Jose Hotel & Suites - Morelia - Bedroom

9.0 Excellent (1,367 reviews)

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room , grounds, restaurant
Cons: Missing refrigerator and ice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rustic setting is very romantic. We had a fire going in our room every night. The service everywhere was super friendly and professional. The views are fantastic (we had a front row junior suite overlooking the valley and town below).
Cons: The breakfast buffet leaves a lot to be desired. On the other hand, ordering breakfast into your room offers more choice and is really much nicer.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Room doesn’t have a dryer or cream for coffee on the second day the power went out since early in the morning and when i told the receptionist when I checked out i told her but she seem not to care and the phone in the room didn’t work. Not enough towels, the cover for the bed had holes and the bed it self it was very stiff not to comfortable.
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: Your reservation doesn’t guarantee the hotel will give you a room! We arrived from Europe and had 3 rooms booked 3 months in advance! At arrival we were told that they can only give us 1 room because they are sold out (and we were a group of 5). After very long arguments the main receptionist (Eleonor) who spoke 0 English in a very cold and indifferent manner agreed to show us extra room. So, after we had two rooms we had to pretty much force them to give us a third one. And they did. But increased the price by around 25% and also tried to convince us that a small standard room was the superior suite we reserved. Very shady management to say the least... They have very lovely garden and a view of Morelia- these are the only advantages of this place. Rooms are old. Stuff is very indifferent to guests.
7.1 Good
Pros: We liked the peace and quiet that the property provides being a little bit out of the main centre of Morelia. The staff were friendly and accomodating, however they spoke very little English.
Cons: We were disappointed with the overall experience of this hotel. We booked a junior suite, as a treat. The room (33) was very spacious, but dated and a little run down. The bathroom door or window didn't close properly. The wifi is very unreliable and slow in the room. You need to either go outside on the terrace or to the reception to get decent wifi. There are fireplaces in the room, which was an attraction for us as we stayed during winter. We requested some firewood for the fire, however it never arrived. This is a three star hotel in our opinion. If you do consider staying at this hotel I would recommend room 34, the view is amazing!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The gardens
Cons: The room was dirty, old and zero comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The buildings and grounds and the view of the city are truly spectacular. The food that we ate at the restaurant was first class (and we ar foodies). Wonderful hotel.
Cons: Would be difficult for a person who had difficulty with stairs.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The gardens are beautiful and has a great view to the city.
Cons: The rooms did not look clean and they need to have more than two towels, specially for the double beds.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was good.
Cons: There were no options for children on the menu. My little girl eats very little but we had to order a full breakfast order and she ate less than a quarter.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful grounds and old buildings. Great staff. Wonderful restaurant view and very good food. Secure parking.
Cons: Dated interiors, including beds. Dry rot wood on some exterior trim. A little better English speaking would be nice.

Pros: All the place is very nice
Cons: Mattress,
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location, reasonably priced, clean, good shower, very friendly staff. We have lived in Morelia and stayed in many hotels there, and it’s rare to find a moderately priced room in Centro that’s quiet. This hotel met our needs.
Cons: The beds are not the best but are typical for Mexico, rooms a bit small, room decor could be more colorful, WiFi was very weak in the room. Continental breakfast had excellent fruit but bread they served was terrible. With so many panaderías nearby, why serve guests Pan Bimbo(white sandwich bread)?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our first time in Morelia, we did the usual sight seeing and lots of walking we were exhausted. We got to the hotel 30 minutes before check in and they gave us the room. The hotel itself very quiet so we had a 3 hour nap. I recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is about 3 blocks away from cathedral. I will surely book this hotel again if I return to visit again.

If you want to get a real feel for Michoacán, this is the place! Rosa is a gracious and well-informed hostess. Pros: Casona Rosa truly feels like your home-away-from-home! Ms. Rosa, Ms. Lupe and Ms. Mireya went out of their way to meet my twin 13 year old boys’ needs! We loved the breakfasts, our room and the location! It was a comfy place to relax after a long day of walking the city. It was our first time in Morelia and we all hope to go back soon to visit with our new old friends at Casona Rosa! (We visited during Semana Santa- Holy Week 2019. Pros: From the outside it does not look like an hotel. The interior is beautiful! The desk staff Fernando and Gabriel were helpful and welcoming. The Star was Haydee. When we needed more lighting for reading she went way beyond her job description to obtain a lamp. Our room was called Ruisenor. Beds very comfortable. Cons: There is a gym next door, very loud music starring at about 8 am.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Staff were very accommodating.
Cons: On a 3 night stay, the Internet went out every single night. Other issues: No safe in the room. Room decor tired & dated, paint peeling. Hotel on the fringe of the historic center, but on a dilapidated street.

Cons: Nothing...!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, large room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As beautiful and well-located as this historic boutique is, and as tastefully decorated as it is (with a brilliant mix of modern decor and colonial charm, e.g., modern lighting on old stone walls and spacious rain shower), the absolute highlight of this property is the staff and management. They were delightfully friendly and helpful to an extreme. Our stay occurred during a gasoline shortage, so gas stations were lacking gasoline or required hours of waiting in line to get some. The staff at Casa Modero went out of their way to help us get a carton of gas for our rental car. The dining staff also went out of their way to meet special requests and last minute appearances for dinner. The staff also went out of their way to help us plan our activities, including an amazing trip to see the Monarch butterfly migration. Unbelievable experience in a wonderful place. Moreover, Morelia itself is one of the most charming cities I've ever visited. Totally safe and cosmopolitan.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was having to leave at the end of the stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, location, bed
Cons: I didn’t like the bathroom door being glass, and if you want to do number 2 and if you’re sharing a room with someone else, in my case that other person had to walk out the room in order for me to use the restroom. And there’s air conditioning but it still felt cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: lovely staff
Cons: Nothing, everything was great
7.1 Good
Pros: Bed. Food marginal, but wait staff excellent
Cons: Noise. Our room was adjacent to the restaurant,

9.6 Excellent
Pros: It's a lovely old building. The staff was extra super. The breakfast fine.
Cons: The odd uneven walkway to our room needs better lighting.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building. Lots of great details. Staff were so kind and helpful. Breakfast was excellent—eggs with ham, fruit, toast, coffee/tea, juice. Great location too!
Cons: We had a room at the front and it was very noisy at night. Also, the room gets quite hot so we had to sleep with the balcony doors open, further adding to the noise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was large and delicious--several choices. Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel was elegant and cosy, something of a boutique hotel. I liked the focus on art and literature.
Cons: I think a couple of comfortable chairs or sofas in downstairs area would be terrific for people who like to read and drink coffee. So having tables and chairs as only sitting options is something I would change.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast was adequate but what made it super was the warmth and friendliness with which it was served. the people in the cafe, like all the staff in the hotel.made you feel very welcome. we looked forward each day to our conversations with them. they were gracious in listening to our halting Spanish and always ready to accommodate us in English when we needed it.
Cons: there was nothing we didn't like. the hotel is clean, comfortable and creative in decor and space utilization. the staff is wonderful-- friendly, welcoming and helpful. we felt like friends.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner of the hotel was very friendly and talkative. He even organised free spanish lessons for me in the morning. Muchas gracias! :)
7.5 Good
Pros: Lo mas bueno era la Senorita Yazu Garcia en la Recepcion. The most helpful person was Yazu Garcia in Reception. Loved the yoga class in the mornings.
Cons: The hotel is beginning to show wear-and-tear. The towels were old, the walls of the hotel room need painting, etc. Had to run the water for a long time to get hot water. The thing that really irritated me was that, after staying for 6 nights, I asked to stay two more nights at the same price. The hotel was virtually empty most of the time I was there but they refused to honor the same rate. I went online to Booking.com and the rate online was even lower than the one I was asking them to honor. I guess they don't care if they have business or not.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very nice, quiet and typical. It is close to an area of bar and restaurant that makes it practical to go out at night.

Cons: The WiFi didn’t reach our room
7.1 Good
Pros: Location and shower
Cons: 1. Coffee maker in room but no coffee was provided and it required a special pod that was unavailable in stores. 2. Arrived Sunday afternoon and the hotel was deserted. No services available either. Strange feeling. 3. Maid talked on her cell phone in the inner courtyard so her voice carried to all surrounding rooms. Annoying and inconsiderate. 4. Maid mopped tile floors so they were wet while I approached and motioned me to walk on them. Dangerous and unnecessary. I would not return nor recommend this hotel.

7.5 Good
Pros: VERY CLEAN, & EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. BEAUTIFUL LOVED IT SO MUCH.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Across the street from a major shopping mall, this property delivers all that it promises. At the crossroads of a busy intersection, most of the rooms face quiet and attractive inner courtyards. Although some of the rooms are a bit dark, t's a smart design for the area. Also, there are many chain restaurants in the vicinity as well as a multiplex cinema within easy walking distance of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a good choice if you don't mind staying in one of Morelia's modern suburbs.
Cons: Although only a few dollars, it's quite a long cab ride from the hotel to Morelia's central historical district. If you are coming for the downtown action and charm, then this is probably not a good choice for you. Also, the complimentary morning breakfast was nothing to write home about. It was just okay. With so many other positives going for this hotel, surely they could improve their breakfast a bit.
6.7 Good
Pros: very nice room but poor layout: desk located next to door and way too small, should be switched position with the luggage rack
Cons: Receptionist Giovanni showed a total lack of friendliness upon our check in, did not follow our recommendation on proximity of rooms and zero help His partners were much better and solved the problem

Pros: I loved the location and the room itself.
Cons: The sheets had dried boogers. I had to have someone come in and give me a clean fitted sheet. The air conditioner was not working so they gave us a fan.

Pros: Beautiful historic hotel Very large room and excellent shower Beautiful restaurant with a good Am. Breakfast Excellent TV and cable Good pillowsWonderful 4 night stay
Cons: Main room very dark- better lighting would help Mattress not too comfy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is right in front of Morelia main Plaza overlooking the main cathedral. Los portales have so many different choices of restaurants to pick from. Main plaza is just lovely.

Cons: Best weding ever. Best staff. I had a really good time.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular architecture and art work.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff and the location were excellent. The Nespresso coffee in the room was a bonus. Jorge was another bonus for us. He welcomed us when we got there, and looked after us the time we were there.
Cons: The air conditioning was non existent, I am sure it was only a fan. We were on the main floor so we’re not able to keep windows open.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and decoration style
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about it, location, the building is historic and beautiful. Our bedroom was huge and the bed was very comfortable. We’re particularly grateful to Jorge who speaks impeccable English & was very helpful.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Small room , no amenities for the price , bar staff was rude , service awful . Parking staff was great .
6.3 Good
Pros: Hotel with wonderful history and historic feeling. This property is gorgeous. However, any events outside and you can here it. The service all around from front desk to room service to the restaurant needs to be improved. I suggest leading hotels of the world take over and this hotel service standard will go from okay to incredible. book a room with a view of the church otherwise not worth the price.
Cons: the restaurant was service was not up to standards. the room prices didn't reflect properly what was offered. there seemed to be a lot of broken communication between departments and competence.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bedding was very comfortable - air conditioning was a bonus!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional service, and kindnes from the staff.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice bathroom. That's all.
Cons: Over-priced. Not a suite, just a large room. It was on a very busy corner of 2 streets and one of the streets literally was coming straight towards our window and balcony before turning in front. Incredibly noisy so we had to keep the windows and drapes completely closed. The staff was minimal and totally minor-league quality. A complete rip-off. Sad, because it was a lovely old building. And a tree blocked the view of the cathedral across the street.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and helpful staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We went for the spacious cathedral view room... with a balcony onto one of the main squares in front of the cathedral. So much fun to watch all the action including the Saturday night fireworks. Breakfast at their rooftop restaurant is a great way to start the day! Double glazing and interior shutters kept out most street noise, so that wasn’t an issue. King bed with luxurious ironed sheets!
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Our room was visited by the hotel staff in our absence without valid reason (proved by surveillance cameras), our credit cards were handled and misordered in our wallet (the hotel did not give us the key to the locker upon arrival in the room), and 5 days later fraud attempts were made on our bank accounts. The management did absolutely nothing against the employee identified on the video and concerned by the fraud. We therefore strongly discourage any tourist or traveller to stay at Los Juaninos hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: I find it hard to believe this hotel is a Tesoros hotel. Worn furnishings that look like leftovers from a second hand store, stark ,ugly reception and almost non existent lobby. The hotel interior is now a bank and there is plexiglass barrier all along the upper floors. It was a sleep, although loud wedding partiers at 2-3 AM echoed throughout the hotel. Great views.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is in the hart of Morelia, close to restaurants, shops, etc.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. They changed the bed sheets everyday.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Room was too dark. The lighting is horrible. The shower has very modern glass enclosure but it does not seal correctly so the water leaks out of the shower to the bathroom. Also the small stuff in the lavatory was ridiculous. The Kleenex was a pocket size Kleenex pack.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I love staying here! It had been a couple of years since I had been back, but I'm happy to report the hotel is as good as ever.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyday at this hotel: - change bed sheets. - clean the restroom. - vacuum the room. -every staff member is professional and always happy to provide a service. Over all, the hotel is clean and quiet.

Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean
Cons: No elevator with rather steep stairs. Parking site is about 3 blocks away (but they valet for free).
4.6 Okay
Cons: Hotel looked much nicer in the photos than in real life. Staff very unhelpful, they never mentioned the opening hours of the parking lot (on Sundays they open only till 10am) and charged us additional fee for opening a parking gate. Very poor breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great Location...staff was friendly. Breakfast was satisfactory.....continental with coffee, adequate to get the day started.
Cons: We booked a junior suite, which included a small sitting room with a worn couch and a TV along with a basic kitchenette. Not sure that the junior suite was much better than a standard room.
7.1 Good
Pros: Big and clean apartment
Cons: Poor towels and bed sheets
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We got a suite for 4 people which was huge, basically an apartment with kitchen, living room etc. The location is approximately halfway between the cathedral and the aqueduct so it is convenient walking distance to most of the main sights. I thought it was very good value for money.
Cons: There’s was no air conditioning which is fine but a fan would have been nice as the city gets hot in the summer.
7.1 Good
Pros: Excellent location
Cons: Very narrow dark stairs — the stairwell lights did not work. In order to see, we needed to turn on the lights on each landing. (Our room was on the second floor.)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, clean every day and the people who work there so nice.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location, good service, smiling employees. The hotel balances very well the lack of parking lot with the Valet service. Food is good and well prepared even if the restaurant is only a small cafeteria.
Cons: The general condition of the rooms is not good for the international traveler. There is an evident lack of maintenance and care for the detail i.e. missing knobs , broken parts , ceilings in meed of repair, etc. But mainly, you do not receive what you are offered in terms of facilities and lookings in the web site. A huge disadvantage in my opinion is the level of noise in the area and the lack of care the management has placed in order to reduce it, also the poor courtains everywhere do not cover the sun light and also the lack of a/c is a huge fault. Your get a floor fan instead which contributes to the noise at night, it is very very difficult to rest. Is a good building , good location but poor very poor planning and management, bad enough to make me not willing to return.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Nothing

Pros: Peaceful, secure, close to all points of interest.
Cons: Everything was perfect, very peaceful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Liked everything in the hotel, room, garden, all the decorations in the hallways, restaurants. It’s a half block from the Catheral and within walking distance of museums. We had dinner at the hotel and was very good. I really enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it.
Cons: Had an issue when we had dinner, because we asked them to divide the check in 3, we were 3 couples and charged it to our room, and the waiter came back saying the division would not be equal because their system would not let them, we ended paying in cash.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff is very helpful and answered emails promptly. They were able to reserve a taxi to pick me up from the airport and take me to airport as well at the end of my trip. The hotel restaurant food is very good but a bit slow. The complimentary breakfast is very delicious as well. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The courtyard garden is very beautiful and daily maintained. The location is great. It is very close to an atm, the cathedral, the downtown shops and it's very convenient for catching a taxi.
Cons: Our room was very nice but it was next to the cleaning staff room so their noise would wake me in the morning. Not a big deal, but if you want to sleep in make sure you get a room in a quieter spot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the food, the live music on Friday and Saturday nights, the hotel decoration, the location (so close to downtown), the atmosphere and the Mexican buffet.

Pros: Room was extremely clean and full of extra details that made our stay wonderful. The breakfast was amazing as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: extremely courteous the staff. the pace is beautifull
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff was so accommodating and gracious. One example, we had breakfast in the courtyard and the coffee cups were cold which made the coffee cold. The waiter took all our cups heated them up with hot water and then brought a new hot pot of coffee. They still have turn down service in the rooms and the restaurant is excellent, esp. the weekend breakfast buffet. The location is perfect. Close to the main square but still very quiet. I highly recommend Hotel de la Soledad
Cons: We loved all the wild birds that came into the courtyard at dusk, but hated to see the captive birds alone in very small cages.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property is right in the middle of we’re all the action is
Cons: Can’t think of anything I din’t like

Cons: Price for the room is not worth it, towels were raggedy, no a/c, customer service was mediocre.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: This hotel is very loud. They said they had sound proof windows and they don’t. Every morning they would move furniture around above us. There is a café/bar on the top floor that plays loud music until 10:30. The noise made it impossible to sleep. And to top it off the housekeeper was very unfriendly although the rest of the staff were nice.
Cons: Everything!
