10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and good facilities
7.0 Good
Pros: The place itself, basic motel with least amount of facilities compared to several other hotels nearby. lady at the reception not too forthcoming or welcoming, not very helpful with sharing information either. The only good thing is the view from the room, which is great
Cons: Staff, no shuttle to nearby hotels, tourist centers or restaurants. No on site restaurant, given its a motel, no facilities per se. Nearby hotels offer a lot more, recreational stuff like board games, lobby, common rooms, free shuttle etc
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was wonderful in our executive studio for our one night only stay. This is pricey but a once in a lifetime stay for us and we loved it all.
Cons: Toilet seat didn’t properly fit or retrofit the bowl.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very easy to get to. Easy parking right in front of the room. Rooms are clean and have a view of the mountains. Front desk staff are very friendly and ready to help with any questions. We had a good rest at the village.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was in a great location to our hike. Very clean, spacious and check in was a breeze. The check in desk was gracious and helpful. Would recommend this location highly. It’s one of my favorite on our two week trip.

Cons: The weather!!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent. When I twisted my knee hiking, they gave me an ice pack which was really helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and private.
Cons: There were no dining facilities at the motel so it meant going to other locations to eat.

Pros: The view.
Cons: Loose toilet bowl seat cover.

4.0 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel is good. The room is big enough.
Cons: The weather was terrible, the hotel is a bit sad and definitely overpriced considering the facilities. The staff are not the most friendly.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The position of the hotel can not be rivalled with dramatic views.
Cons: Other than walking and official excursions guests should not expect any other activity options - the hotel dominates the village and activity is naturally dominated by the surrounding terrain.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great view
4.0 Okay
Cons: Very plain room. Poorly lighted external areas difficult to navigate at night. Forced full menu from restaurant with no a la carte.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Proximity to Mt Cook
Cons: The property is rather tired and basic. They charge NZ$5 / day for wifi in the room and another NZ$5 for a pair of in-room, disposal, slippers most hotels give away for free.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The amazing view from the room window was my favorite. In addition, the breakfast buffet was good and the activities on offer were suitable for all ages. Staff were friendly and the hotel shop was a lovely addition. Wonderful walks were available very close by. The cafe was perfect for a lunch snack.
Cons: The only thing I recommend changing is the bed mattresses. They are too aoft, both my husband and I slept badly and woke up with a sore back.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great views
Cons: On arrival told restaurant fully booked and only buffet available. Never been to a hotel unable to feed its guests. Rooms were plane and faded, certainly not up to the standard expected. None of the small touches I would anticipate from a top class hotel. A general feeling of being processed.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Furnishings in hotel very dated. Service was poor. Very poor value for money. The only great thing was the views.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: View is the best
Cons: Not the greatest quality hotel for the price you pay

Cons: I booked a bungalow for 5 pax. We got a double bed, single bed & sofa bed for 2. Ideal stay for family, short drive to Mt Cook. The cafe at the reception open until 4pm, make sure you grab some food from the cafe if you didn't keep some food from grocery store. No grocery store nearby.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The guy at the reception was very friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the place is good. No complaints what so ever. The drive to Mt Cook was awesome. Heal yourself spiritually at this place !!!
Cons: Liked everything no complaints.
7.5 Good
Pros: Facilities were great
Cons: Snoring in room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Incredible views. Excellent location for hiking near Mt Cook. The staff were so friendly ! They were a huge help and always smiling. The staff also cleaned very well and thoroughly. Management should give them much more credit then they deserve. Easy/free parking as well. We would definitely come back
Cons: Rooms needed to be updated but they were cozy. We wouldnt have minded because we weren't looking for fancy but you can easily hear people next door. The community building needed to be updated as well. They did have a separate building for updated toliets/showers, so they are getting there! The kitchen can get very crowded at dinner time. We were there when a school bus was and the staff could not keep up with cleaning the bathrooms after the kids.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is very beautiful with great views and you are in nature, Cabin was very comfortable
Cons: All good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped including kitchen equipment (microwave, fridge, silverware, kettle etc.) sofa, dining table and chairs and also electric blankets. Plus, it is near to Mount Cook and we enjoyed the great view from our room.
