This B&B deserves whatever praise it receives. The house is a fascinating antique itself, full of antiques. The room was just a little cramped, but that is to be expected in an old house retrofitted for guest use. The highlight of our stay was the gourmet breakfasts prepared by Tom and Maureen. And “gourmet”, a somewhat overused word, really describes the interesting things our hosts did with eggs and potatoes and in-house baking. Plus, they are good company and full of ideas for enjoying the region. We would strongly encourage anyone traveling to the Poconos not to miss the experience of staying at Maurrock’s.
