Small room with extra unwanted bed. Very tight bathroom. Location to museums and good restaurants was great.

Pros (+) Hotel Antares provided an affordable alternative to the other Oktoberfest price-gauged hotels. The free breakfast was great, and I was pleasantly surprised by the large and modern bathroom. The hotel is located in a really cute neighborhood, just a 10 minute walk to Old Town, 5 minutes to Odeonsplatz, and a 30 minute walk to the main train station.
Cons (-) The rooms here are really tiny, even for European standards. We stayed on an unseasonably warm fall night, so we had to sleep with the windows open for some fresh air. This meant that all the noises of the city on a Friday night carried up into our room. I don't blame the hotel, but with only 7 stories, it's hard to find a room away from the noise.
