Our car was great and dropping off was great. The real issue was in picking up the car. We came from Nice, not from the airport which was the first challenging part. There was not an address on our rental confirmation so we just used google to look up Sixt rental. Google took us to a place inside the airport. We waited there for over 30 minutes and then the worker told us that we had to go to a different place, but didn't really clearly explain where. When we did find the rental place it was very obvious and I think would be really easy to find if you were landing there in the airport, but very frustrating experience.

Uncoordinated efforts between hertz and Kayak- lead me to not get the vehicle as advertised and promised and therefore had to overpay hugely to get the real value from my Nice trip. Doubt I will use a third party brokerage in the future and rent directly from Rental company as save myself hassle and money.
This car rental is terrible. They make you wait to have you picked ip and no one was available to leave them the car. Had to leave it in a garage without receipt and they didn’t answer the phone for 2 days.
They were located in Nice, not Saint-Laurent-du-Var which was a big issue for me. I rented a specific sized vehicle because of size constraints of my destinations. I was forced to take a much larger car or no car at all. This left me and my party walking more than a kilometer back and forth to our home with luggage etc. every time we needed to go out. The people working at the Nice location were very helpful and professional, particularly the agent who handled my return of the vehicle.
Really good experience. The attendant was very kind and explained everything very clearly.

Alamo was horrific. Our plane was delayed due to storms. I had booked the car earlier than our anticipated landing. When I eventually reached Alamo, they said they only hold cars for 2 hours from the planned arrival time. They had let my car go and they had no others. Dispute it with your booking agent. We were left with no car after an exhausting flight. They clearly didn’t like the rental rate and were keen to not let us take the hire car. One we had already paid for. Really rude and unhelpful.

I very much enjoyed my experience with Alamo, the only annoying thing is that Alamo is located at Terminal 2 in Nice Airport and it is inconvenient to pick up the car after arriving at Terminal 1. Except for that, great staff and great service.
Most companies try to upgrade you if they don’t have the car requested. Avis gives you an inferior car but you pay the same price. My last ex with Avis was supposed to be my last- in Florida after 40 minute wait ( watching customers who came in later flight get cars) I was given a car that hadn’t been cleaned or checked it. When I returned you tried to charge me for damage from that previous client.. really sloppy

Received a car with no working AC in the middle of the summer in France. It was awful. I did bring it to their attention upon pulling out of the rental parking garage and I was told to just give it time to kick in. Will 2 hours away and still no AC. Worst experience

Price was good for the 12-day rental. It was exhausting at the time of car pickup, the lady kept trying to upsell me on a bigger car, more insurance coverage. What could take 10 minutes for signing the rental agreement, took over 30 minutes. Everything else was amazing.
Incredibly rude and incompetent staff members. Rent from any one else but Europcar at Nice airport.! Even the so called 'manager' was a horrible person. No customer service at all and the cars are very basic regardless of what category you book. French stupidity and the inability to reason at its best. There are many other options. Choose another company.

The car was fine. Clean and in good shape. The pick up experience was a “strong arm” to buy insurance. My credit card covers and CDW issues, but I was forced to sign (a copy of a copy of a copy) a form that I could be on the hook for $50,000.00 (for a Nissan?) if I had an accident. I was completely shot from a long travel day, so I agreed to the insurance. It took a very long time to complete the process and it was not very satisfying. I assumed Europcar was a major player, which is why I chose them. I’ll not make that mistake again. Read the reviews!!!!
This location was not at the airport. No one answered the phone. When we got to the address, nobody was there. Doors were closed lights off. We heard from them an hour later and had to find another car the same day with another company and ended up spending more money. I would not recommend this at all, and I would not list this as being located at the airport.

So we end up not getting any car and we used to public transportation in our whole trip . I want my refund

The lady doing the check in and out was very polite and courteous and tried to help us. For some reason when I went to pick the car she told me her colleague had said that I had cancelled tje reservation which I hadn't and not received any email confirmation of this. Luckily she made a new one and the car was still available. Also on kayak it said booking for 5 people car but the priceless booking said 2 person so i had to clarify that. Car was good and the lady was helpful.
