Pros: Everything about our stay has been fabulous. Francesca was very welcoming & accommodating when we asked to extend our stay by a night, the bedroom large & tastefully decorated - includes a lovely breakfast , the location is very central but quiet & Noto itself ...... what a wonderful gem. We will most definitely be returning.
Cons: Our stay was too short
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good!
Cons: Parking in the area is challenging, but we always found a spot.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A perfect place with super friendly staff and a breakfast with lots of Sicilian specialities.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is right in the center and only 20 meters from the main town historical restaurant area , large shower, Francesca was very helpful and always polite she even helped us carry the suitcases to the room and to the car, fantastic host!
Cons: There was only one chair probably as a result of the room size but it would have been better to have two smaller chairs instead of one large one or folding chairs would also be great if the room size could not accommodate two fixed chairs...... a small point but to imp[rove this would be nice. The balcony isn't really a place where you can sit, its too narrow so I wouldn't really call it a balcony.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great position, helpful and friendly staff and really good breakfast
Cons: Couldn't work out how to turn off the bedside table lamps without unplugging them

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Run by a very nice couple, Salvatore and Maria and their small crew we had one of the best B&B expiriences we ever had. The house and garden are beautiful! Located close to the old center of Noto. Every morning a very good breakfast was prepared and Salvatore came by every day with some nice extra's like granita or home made torrone! Also we got every day a sandwich to go! Above all you get a real 'at home' feeling which we will remember for a long time!
Cons: Nothing to note

Pros: Amazing breakfast. Salvatore is the perfect host, aims to please. Very comfortable
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful owner and staff. Nice breakfast, and they even gave us sandwiches both days to take with us. These were very welcome as we were in parks and not near restaurants. Noto is a charming place to stay, and the property is in a residential area a few blocks from the main sites. There’s a charming garden with caged exotic birds and turtles.
Cons: All was good.

7.9 Good
Pros: The facility is great, nice setting, comfy rooms, beautiful garden with all of kind trees.
Cons: It’s plenty of nasty flies that make difficult relaxing when you are outside . Staff was welcoming and attentive, but when I said I did not recall I had ordered something at the bar when It came to do the check out and pay, they did not check whether the charge was correct or instead a mistake .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully appointed. Very stylish and comfortable. All of the staff without exception were welcoming attentive and helpful. Exceptional staff means they are doing a lot right. Great evening meal. We were recommended the catch of the day and it was delicious
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing food, we love the kids cinema and bicyle
Cons: A bit too modern
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent offering local produce and very fresh tasy fruits. Good selection of proteins - cheeses and quality meats. My daughter booked your beautifyl villa and wheeas at first I thought the distance from Noto city would have been a mistake it turned out to be the best decision possible. Our first night at dinner with the saxaphone player walking around the pool added a great deal of ambieance and will always be a memory we will enjoy.
Cons: There was nothing I did not like. Initially the room was a surprise not having windows however, was not a problem overall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything! Beautiful facilities in amazing an location with wonderful staff who made our stay so memorable!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location. Well-designed clean rooms. Breakfast. Restaurant staff.
Cons: 1. Reception staff were unhelpful - Absolute indifference to visitors. When you first arrived, you expect to be greeted with a smile and help. And the staff saw that we were carrying several suitcases ourselves, no one paid attention and did not offer help. And at the check-out (again !!!) I asked: help me bring the luggage to the parking lot now. Not in half an hour, not in an hour, but right now, I'm already leaving. I waited again and again no one helped me. For the first time in my life I come across such indifference from the reception. 2. The bathroom periodically smelled of sewage.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good, although it was very hot on the terrace where the breakfast was served. Further explanation of what was on offer would have been useful. The pool area, gardens, grounds, tennis courts etc were fabulous. It would make an excellent holiday location for families who just want to stay around the hotel.
Cons: Some of the staff were a little brusque, some were very friendly, but for example when checking in I said I had made a dinner reservation for that evening, I was told there was no record of it, I had received a confirmation email and the reality was the restaurant was not even full, so really it should not have been questioned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved every moment. Amazing facilities and staff. I can’t wait to repeat the experience
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Arrival was excellent and welcoming, The bedrooms where very comfortable and spacioua, beds specifically extremely comfortable and large, Spa and pool was also excellent always kept clean... Grounds and hotel are well looked after and the staff and facilities gave an excellent service! Will visit again in the future for sure. Gluten free bread was also served and waiters helped with ordering and service.
Cons: A couple of things bugged me, 1) dinner (specifically bbq) was far from expectations and rather disappointed with the quality of the meat served, service was excellent on the other hand the restaraunt did not charge us for a couple of the mistakes hence the service was excellent. 2) Regarding Bedrooms upon arrival our room had alot of flies inside and a bad smell of insect spray which was not a pleasant surprise. 3) Air conditioner also did not always work (setting of temperature could only be made -2+2 degrees of what they set it on 18-22degree celcuis. At times too cold and during night it got too hot..
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The pool. The rooms. The grounds. Simply beautiful.
Cons: Staff working poolside were slow. The dinner options at the restaurant were overpriced. And the music played felt like it did not suit - it needed to be more contemporary and current. It made me feel like I was in a retirement home!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast spread was fantastic. The host, Ambra, was extremely friendly. She gave us guidance and discounts for our pending journey to Mt. Etna. Also, she drove us into night and picked us up after dinner.
Cons: The B&B was out of town. This was more than balanced by our host transporting us to and from town.
7.9 Good
Cons: To far from town, lucky we had a car.
7.9 Good
Pros: The owner was very kind and helpful, lovely people. The breakfast is an institution with products from the local farm
Cons: Location
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Ambra is a great host. Very warm and welcoming. Also always happy to give any kind of recommendations along the way. Already at our arrival she served us light meal/late breakfast, which was really appreciated. The view from the balcony or roof terrace is stunning and the house and rooms are all very clean. Ambra also has some privat parking spots at the back of the house. We stayed at the deluxe double room (city view)
Cons: The bathroom was a bit dated and there was no shower curtain, which led to a small flood after showering. Nonetheless it was super clear and tidy.
5.4 Okay
Cons: The fact that we arrived at the location and there was no one, although I said we would arrive at that time. I called a few times, I sent a message and it was answered only after a few hours. Time when we do not know whether or not we have accommodation for that evening. Location of the villa in a very unfriendly area, quite far from the center and the areas where you can dine
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The very welcoming, personal attention by the owners and staff as well as the attention to detail with organic food products was so welcome. We also were given personal advice and tips about places of interest to visit, restaurants, beaches etc. Our experience felt like home from home.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect.Quiet place, spacious clean rooms, hospitable and friendly host. The host does not speak English but works excellently with the Google translator. The room was cleaned every day, the towels too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: large room and bathroom, comfortable and quiet, with good wifi. Host was helpful and pleasant and courteous. I was traveling alone and felt at home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host was helpful in planning a day trip to nearby villages. He used his translator app so there was no misunderstanding and we had great fun communicating that way. He also provided a map of downtown and parking and restaurant recommendations, which were much appreciated. We liked that the location was away from downtown, very quiet, and with a small balcony overlooking a green hillside.
Cons: There are four rooms in a single hallway and noise does carry a bit from room to room. I suppose it could be a problem but all the guests were quiet while we were there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything can be summed up in one word: Paolo. An excellent host. He was very kind and provide a lot of useful information for our trip and the best experience possible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Paulo is the perfect host!
7.1 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff. The room is large and has a large bedroom also
Cons: Nothing, the room is 8 minutes driving from Noto center. If you do not mind then the price quality ratio is xcellent. If you are looking for a room in the center of Noto than this is a little bit to far away.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A genuine and welcoming place, especially convenient if heading inland from Noto.
Hotel Villa Favorita - Noto - Building
7
9.1 Excellent (657 reviews)
C$ 183+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Villa Favorita in Noto, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Cathedral of Noto and Church of Ecce Homo. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A nice villa hotel surrounded by beautiful nature. Pool area is good. Nice building. When arriving we felt they were very focused on the immediate little profit and decided not to spend much time at the resort. However the postal card size vintage TV in the room is on its own worth paying a visit.
7.9 Good
Pros: The building and grounds were beautiful! Just outside Noto but an easy drive and the staff were super friendly at giving parking suggestions.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location in the country side. Pool is very nice, the restaurant is surprisingly good. The staff is kind, available and provides good and timely information on the surrounding.
Cons: Given the size of the room, I consider it slightly overpriced. Should invest a bit on staff, rigid 10 AM check-out and 16 AM check-in is a bit old school. Internet not always working well.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great swimming pool. Friendly and personal staff. Nice garden.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is good as it is near to Noto, some beaches as well as other Agriturismo properties for varied meal options. You will need a car to get around. The staff in the restaurant were outstanding & charming. The Front Desk staff were welcoming but one that we found a little tricky. They have a big pool which was a welcomed relief from the heat of the day.
Cons: For the amount we paid we thought the Rooms were very small & basic. If you are planning a 1 or 2 day stay, it's sufficient but anything longer it's not advisable for long stay or families. Rooms lacked sufficient wardrobe & or storage space for big luggage. The Pillows also needed replacing but to be fair we probably should have asked for more Pillows. The amenities in the shower, were not great, bare minimum. Again, if you are going to stay for awhile, would recommend that you bring a bottle of your own liquid soap. Rather surprising to us, was when we went to exchange our Pool towels after 3rd day of our stay, we were informed that to exchange them for fresh ones, we would be charged 2 Euro per towel. We travel frequently but we've never experienced this at a Hotel before. Understandably you want to encourage guests not to waste, so every day to change I can understand. But 3 days after or longer, it didn't make sense. Particularly since they give you no option in the room to hang your towel up or a drying rack outside to hang the towel over. Maybe rethink this charge policy & instead encourage guests to change after 3 days or instal additional hanging hooks in the rooms to hang & air wet towels. The breakfast was enjoyable but not much variety compared to other properties we stayed at in the region. We had dinner some evenings at the hotel but it was pretty average so we opted to eat out at nearby Agriturismo's. Be warned, there is no parking in the city of Noto. Unfortunately we did not know this beforehand & ventured out for dinner only to have to return soon thereafter. The hotel have a pre-reservation policy but our situation of no parking, was beyond our control. As we had no other option we returned to the hotel & asked if we cld be accommodated. Restaurant was not full.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really nice. Perfect place to relax while being close to the busy spots (Noto, Marzamemi..).
Cons: Some noisy construction work during the day
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds - a destination in itself. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was fantastic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I though it was charming and the staff was really delightful. IT's not a concierge kind of hotel and we know that so we didn't have expectations that were unrealistic. Rooms (we got two) were wonderful and would have loved a big terrace but booked to late. would absolutely stay there again. Truly delightful.
Cons: Would have loved a bit more shade at the pool and we had dinner twice and one night was amazing, one of us ordered the same dish another night and it was no where near as good. (still good :-). Not much to complain about!! I travel a lot so it's rare for me to say, not much to complain about!!

Pros: Splendid food, location, pool and service.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant is excellent, the food is lovely and the staff friendly and helpfull.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Food
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is very good, set on the terrace. The overriding positive for this hotel is the staff, they are fantastic, nothing is too much bother.
Cons: Spa could be more accessible to hotel residents, fenced off, I never saw it used once in 10 days by anybody.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were very pleasant and well kept. Simple sophistication, with all the essential amenities but no superfluous luxuries. Big gardens, huge and clean pool with lots of room for privacy, relaxing and private jacuzzi area. The rooms were very simple but comfortable and very clean. The staff were in general extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with good bread and pastries and homemade cakes and jams and fresh fruit juices. We had dinner at the restaurant twice and it was superb. We would very happily go back.

With a stay at La Corte Del Sole in Noto, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Cathedral of Noto and Vendicari Natural Reserve. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The view across the national park from the pool area is very nice. The hotel is on the edge of the park so ideally situated for country walks. The standard of food in the restaurant (evening) is decent.
Cons: The location. You need a car to access local restaurants and bars. The closest area for such is Lido di Noto, which is very small and very closed during the day in September. The first hotel room was very small and noisy with passing guests in the corridor. Upon request we were switched rooms to a larger, quieter room, which was a big improvement. Rooms are quite old fashioned though.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Room on the small side
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s a lovely setting...offering peace & tranquility! Would like to return & stay longer.
Cons: €3 pool towel fee. No where in the world have we ever experienced such a fee to receive a 2nd pool towel, even in 2 star hotels!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic views towards sea and nature reserve. Unspoiled beach only 20 mins walk through fields. Odd Greek theatre on side of path. Breakfast was best in Sicily. Special vote for homemade pastries and tarts.
Cons: The craters on the unpaved road to the hotel. After several storms was also 6ins deep at the bottom. No coincidence that we woke up to a punctured tyre. Owners apologised and they are in process of building new entrance. Not sure how much this will cost us. Luckily was day before our morning flight.
7.5 Good
Pros: We had a fantastic Traditional Sicilian dinner with folk dancing and music. Very good value.
Cons: I think it was expensive for the offering.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place for families and couples. An old sicilian farm with a very nice view. The team is very professional and they really helped us enjoy our holiday. They propose a lot of activities like wine tasting, bread making, short travels near by. The pool is fine, the beach Noto Azura is just 5 min away by car. The garden is wonderful in the sunset. Noto is 15 min. Marzameme is 20 min. Don t miss it! For a better sicilian experience rent a car to help you move to Modica or Pallazalo Acreide. cakes and the coffee are amazing. You should try the peach pie
Cons: The real food (ham, cheese, etc) was the same the whole 7 days we stayed. We got really bored. I would expected more types of salami, ham and cheese.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location. Great food. Grow own fruit and veg. Fab breakfast. Dinner lovely and local ingredients. Staff v friendly. Bar in the evening
Cons: Enjoyed everything but do need a car to get around easily.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location, short walk through to the beach and national park, the food (breakfast and dinner) was all fantastic
Cons: Not the properties fault - be careful if arriving at night using sat nav / phone navigation as new road near the property doesn't come up on google maps / waze off the roundabout at Noto (signposted Lido di Noto)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff in the kitchen were amazing and very attentive to our small children's needs.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay here. It's a perfect location for visiting the nature reserve and you can be there in 10 minutes. We had a great welcome and all the the staff we encountered were really friendly. Our room was spacious and beautifully clean. The opportunity to laze by the pool was much appreciated.
Cons: The menu completo at the restaurant isn't great. I think a la carte may well be better. Breakfast was also a bit of a disappointment compared to others we had on our trip.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: A typical boutique hotel, wonderful taste, less profissional staff, but very nice people.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: No tea or coffee or electric kettle was provided in the room.no glasses were provided in the room or the bath room.Last two days we were not provided witht bath towels but we were given bath robes to dry ourselves. House keeping was poor. There was no mini bar or dining area in the room as indicated on booking.com. it took them 24 hours to change a light bulb. This was done after repeated requests. WiFi was very poor and at times was not functioning for several hours. We booked a classic room with balcony. I can't be sure if we got what we booked since the description of the room on booking.com did not match what we got. This room also did not have a separate entrance as indicated. What was passed off as a balcony was a large window opening into the room Front desk was extremely poorly manned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was very central .
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is located in a very strategic position allowing you to reach the most important attractions in few minutes by feet. The building is an ancient one, but room are equipped with all modern comfort. Bathroom is quite spacious to host a large shower (we reserved a superior room).
Cons: The reception doesn’t operated full day, so pay attention to your arrival. The staff, even though was helpful, doesn’t reflect the expected level of professionalism for a 4 stars. The same is for the breakfast, very poor and low quality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great. Showed us around in his classic car! Great stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is stylish, comfortable beds and the location is amazing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: So very central with easy access to Cafe Sicilia just two mins away
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, lovely team who own/run it; beautiful decorated and safe. Also breakfast was great.
Cons: Nothing really, it’s a lovely hotel. The rooms are kind of small but you expect that in these old cities - we also booked a small room though
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Right in the centre of Noto , a brilliant start to our trip through southern Italy and Sicily , I two minute walk to bars and restaurants plus all local sight seeing. He hotel is very clean , well renovated , the staff very friendly and helpful , our waitress at breakfast spent time advising us where to visit whilst practising her English ( and our Italian ). We parked right next to the hotel on street at no cost ( do pick a small car the streets are very tight )
Cons: Access not for the less abled as many steps into hotel and through Noto.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were stunning. The hotel manager collected us from Noto Station as there were no taxis. Very nice staff. Breakfast could have been more comprehensive. Location was ideal. Would recommend.
Cons: I liked the breakfast but it did not compare with those provided in other hotels we stayed in in Sicily. Would be better with a greater selection.
La Perla Di Noto - Noto - Bedroom

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room is an empty house with 5 bedrooms, sharing a kitchen (coffee made available). David comes and gives you a key and then leaves again . Town map provided and suggestions for restaurants. Very handy for restaurants as centre is only 5 mins's walk and plenty of choices. Parking on square in front of the house (no problem, plenty of space and feeling quite secure) Breakfast in cafe next door (voucher supplied for 1 coffee and 1 croissant)
Cons: A bit noisy in the morning as streets on either side. Tiny shower . Steep flight of steps if heavy bags (there is a room downstairs though) Limited breakfast offering but adequate for the price.

Pros: A great pool, though be warned they only clean it when you demand it be cleaned, otherwise expect to swim with worms and leaves and debris.
Cons: This place might be ok in the high summer, but we were treated as if an I convenience. The sheets and towels were damp and dirty. They provided very little for food and the staff were nonexistent - it was extremely poor value enemy at 1/2 price. One murmured g i left our bed 1/2 stripped in urged that they might iticyfe cjean fresh sheets, but they just used the same dank dirty sheets.,
7.5 Good
Pros: This is a very lovely resort in every respect. Tasteful, comfortable and spacious, the staff are wonderful and this relaxing property is in a very good location for accessing southwest Sicily.
Cons: On arrival this agriturismo makes it clear that they do not run a restaurant although they can offer a simple meal (ie: pasta / salad) providing it is all ordered and delivered before staff go off duty at 7pm. Now anyone familiar with Italy would be aware this is far to early for evening dining although fine for lunch, if you happen to be in the resort at lunch time. Although we ordered beers and wine during our stay we did not order dinner as the timing (and the very limited menu) did not really suit our needs. One evening we brought home some of the beautiful produce available all over Sicily when you are a tourist - some cheese, salumi and bread (not available on the property), so we could have a late snack with wine purchased from the property, after 7pm, whilst watching the sunset. We advised the staff this was our intention and were met with a hostile and agitated response from the manager (?) who was most insistent that under no circumstances could we to consume our own food on the premises. You are kidding me!!!! All the other staff were wonderful. I am unable to name the unpleasant man who spoilt our sunset plans as he failed to provide either his name or his role at the property and we only met him on that one occasion. We make it clear that all the serving staff were terrific during our stay. We assume this man was a day manager or similar.

Pros: Fantastic location , stylish and civilised
Cons: Sat nav found it difficult to find ( better directions helpful). Maybe the road could be improved a little ?

Pros: An Outstanding Place to Stay in the Countryside with a Huge Pool This is one of those rare gems of a place whose own atmosphere and environment defines itself. Located inland about 3km from the sea and about 15 minutes from Marzamemi, this is easily one of the best places and experiences we have stayed at in our 14 visits to Sicily. It is not difficult to find as it is only 5 minutes up the road from a secondary highway, do not get discouraged by the location, as this gorgeous oasis of a spot is so very much worth getting to. Also there is a Roman archaeological site 5 minutes down the road from it. On a working farm located on a small hill overlooking the coast, nestled amongst carob and olive trees near the Vendicari Natural Reserve the grounds are spread out over a couple acres with one main building housing the office and five (or six) rooms, a large seating area for breakfast, another seating area near the main building with huge cushions for lounging in the shade or sun, another seating area with the same large comfy lounge chairs nestled in a beautifully manicured garden and finally a 30metre long rectangular pool, ideal for swimming laps, with two large cabana-like seating beds at one end and numerous comfy and large lounging beds around the pool. STUNNING! They also have pool towels available. You can see the coast from poolside. Also, as if this as not idea enough, the dozen or so wild horses that roam on the little bluff, not more than 50 metres from the pool gives this place a magical feel. The horses are kept away by an electric fence, so it is safe – as the note in the room says just do not approach them without escort from someone that works there. Our room had a large comfy bed with mosquito net, air con and good quality bedding and pillows. The towels unfortunately were the thin type that resemble a tea towel. In their brochure it says they featured Ortigia bath products, but they did not have those – it would be nice if they did return to them.
Cons: Need better towels.

Pros: Fantastic outside spaces, great location and very welcoming hosts.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
9.2 Excellent
Pros: If you want a quiet escape with no kids around and pretty much exclusive use of a pool with a view of the Sicilian countryside, this is the place for you! It was so lovely that we could not bear to leave to explore the surrounding countryside.
Cons: Only negative was the temperamental AC which the staff did manage to fix temporarily but it played up again the next night. we just opened the windows.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is magic: only four rooms in an old farm "Masseria", all very comfortable with complimentary service, canopy beds, A/C. The terrace "Codalupo" has a beautiful landscape and the Balinese furniture adds a super classy touch (highly recommended for sunset). The pool is large and well-kept. The service is outstanding with Gioacchino and Giusy (and all the others) very helpful and always ready to take care of every needs one may have. Final words for the food: homemade cakes for breakfast, lunch with vegetables, eggs and many other products from the farm. Low-Medium season recommended to really enjoy its beautfiul surroundings such as Marzamemi, Noto, Pachino.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just one word, "Paradise)
Cons: My stay was too short
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is beautiful and the staff are kind and friendly; although most speak only a little English they do their best to make your stay memorable. Delicious pasta dishes, especially the pasta nonna.
Cons: Our bathroom was a bit smelly. Food service finishes early (7:30pm), so for a later dinner you have to drive to local towns/villages.

Pros: Good location for sightseeing and nice breakfast.

Pros: The room was really nice, warm and comfortable. People at reception was really nice.

Pros: Location is excellent; breakfast was abundant; staff was very nice
Cons: We booked a junior suite --- and we got a basic room with a small couch and desk. No view, as suggested in the pictures. Pros: Carmela and Salvatore have been very friendly hosts, breakfast quality outstanding!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely friendly owners. Good size, clean bedroom and bathroom. Wonderful breakfasts. Parking was freely available outside on the street.
Cons: Speaking as elderly travellers with heavy suitcases, the 69 steps of the staircase were hard work. The owner gallantly helped us each time. Recommend that you travel with lightweight bags so that the climb upstairs to the rooms is easier. Unfortunately we had just finished a one week conducted tour of the island and had a lot of clothes, etc in our cases for the second week.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old appartment we had for ourselves as we rented the 3 bedrooms. The host were a delight so was the breakfast we had on the terrace

Pros: Very friendly, accommodating staff who have us a room upgrade just because we had so much luggage! Charming terrace for breakfast and amazing selection of homemade options. Garden looked like it would have been lovely to explore (but we ran out of time)
Cons: The room had no view whatsoever. It had a small, walled-in terrace.

Pros: Nice room with balcony overlooking a quiet street in a residential area. Reasonably easy to walk in to the centre of town. The room was comfortable and had a fridge which was a bonus. The young lady who runs it was very pleasant.
Cons: The streets leading to the town were typical of Southern Italy, no pavements and lots of litter. This was not the fault of the hotel, just a fact of life here.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Was nice and quiet
Cons: No TV
4.5 Okay
Pros: Tidy, clean, good linen, location
Cons: Erratic heating/power cut/flimsy door/ unable to contact owner either via email or telephone on at least ten occasions. Had to rely on someone locally. No breakfast provided; indications given which bar to go to-they were closed- given a Eur5 refund per day in cash. Conclusion: not really equipped to receive guests.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners of the property were very obliging and came out late to meet us as we had been delayed due to flooding roads. The rooms of the property were lovely - comfortable beds, space for suitcases and a modern bathroom. Breakfast at the local cafe was charming even though was just a pastry and coffee. The property was just off the main street and close to all the main attractions of the old town. The street the property is in is very narrow but there are two car parks a few blocks down the street where you can leave the car for a reasonable price. We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful city.
Cons: As travellers with limited access to wifi and the owners not on site it would be good to communicate what to do on arrival a couple of days ahead - but the owners were very obliging in sorting out the issue.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very central, took us about 3 min to walk to the main strret with the restaurants, churches, shops. The room decor lovely, rooms are a good size, ours even had a little private terrace. Personnel was extremely helpful, waited for us as we arrived late in the evening.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super helpful and friendly, the lady was waiting for us outside the door, so that we could take the bags out of the car and then she came with us to help us find parking. We were tired and impatient so we ended up parking at a paid lot, against the lady's suggestion to allow her to help us find free street parking, and she was right, parking for less than 24 hours ended up being $25 euros and you can only pay with coins and $5 or $10 bills. The room and bathroom were remodeled, I loved the decoration, it's an old house with what looks to be original floors in the bedroom and everything else is new. The town is super cute. The breakfast was terrible... you have to go to bar/bakery near by, no one spoke English, it was full of flies... it was cheap and the hotel gives you a coupon worth $7 euros which goes a very long way as everything you can order is cheap but I think it would be best for them to ask you what you want in a piece of paper and bringing it to your room at a scheduled time. Highly recommended!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location just one block off the Main Street and the cathedral. Simple accommodations but nice folks and very responsive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful clean quiet room in a perfect location; an excellent host who provided brilliant suggestions for places to visit and to eat.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A nice place where to stay !
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The host who received us was warm and nice. He was helpful with guiding us around the small town.
Cons: It was low season so the property looked like it was going through some renovations.

Pros: Beautiful room, very well positioned.
