Excellent 10.0
Highly recommended. Friendly welcoming staff, a free upgrade and a delicious meal in the restaurant.
Excellent 10.0
Great Pub / Inn with lovely accommodation . Advantage of having the bus stop next to the Pub, getting into Oxford centre in 30 minutes. Lovely quiet spot.
Good 7.0
Pros: very nice pub/hotel; superb food and a great team of staff.
Cons: The bedroom I was given had very low ceilings; this would be ok for most people but I am over 6.2 and so it was a little uncomfortable. Maybe taller people should not be put in these rooms
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic overnight stay in The Bell at Hampton Poyle. Always our favourite and never disappoints. We had a fabulous dinner and the customer service was truly excellent. Lydia really knows how to make guests welcome. She looked after us right through our stay and should be highly commended on her professional approach in making sure we were all having a wonderful time. Covid-19 SD/Mask guidelines were followed to the letter and made us feel very safe. We look forward to a return visit very soon and would like to thank Lydia for going the extra mile and having such a welcoming manner. We would highly recommend The Bell at Hampton Poyle.
Cons: Nothing - it was 100 percent perfect.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Worth going for the restaurant alone. A really interesting menu and creative chef. Staff all very positive, professional and friendly. Room a little small but perfect for our needs.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Bell is a very nice gastro pub in Hampton Poyle with a number of rooms available in the adjoining cottages. The food was excellent and the staff very attentive and professional. We very much enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great breakfast, dinner and friendly staff. Excellent location for oxford town centre.
Good 6.0
Cons: Terrible, inedible prawns. Remarked on this, but no one seemed terribly interested! And we were charged for them
Good 7.0
Pros: Our normal hotel in this part of the country was closed so we tried this cute little old pub with rooms. Room was comfortable and quiet with a large bathroom. Large TV with access to prime, Netflix etc which is a nice touch.
Cons: Staff could have made more effort complying with covid best practices - no masks worn on checkin or in onsite restaurant. It’s such an easy thing to do and puts guests at ease that all hygiene practices are being followed - disappointing and slightly unsettling in these strange times when travel is a luxury.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very tastefully decorated and furnished. Excellent staff and excellent food.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Beautiful and quite just outside oxford with a bus stop almost every 30 minutes going into town.

Excellent 8.4
Good location great for visiting Blenheim and Woodstock
Excellent 9.6
Great location.. stayed with 2 colleagues for a team event at Blenheim. Room was comfy and clean, breakfast was good. Would stay again.
Excellent 9.2
This is not a Modern straight walled hotel, rather a qwerky old building with wonky walls and floor. The rooms we very clean nice bathrooms . Painting finishing could be better, but doesn’t take away from the comfortable room. Staff were excellent and breakfast options and quality was also excellent . Bar closes at 10 . Which was a shame, but we just went to the many nice bars in the villiage . Highly recommend venue . 5 min walk to bleinham palace
Excellent 10.0
Clean and smart inside and out , breakfast was wonderful
Excellent 8.4
Good king sized comfortable bed. Bath and shower in large bathroom. Bus stop for visiting Oxford nearby. Stayed 3 nights. Room not cleaned but was easy to get clean towels and extra milk and toiletries. Old fashioned inn with lots of character.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: The room was spacious and pleasant. The location was great and parking was easy.
Cons: The hosts were busy with paperwork and not very friendly. We were treated respectfully but not kindly.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: The House Manager, Ashley, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. She gave us information about buses, pubs to eat in on Saturday evening, and allowed us to leave our cars there whilst we went into the centre of Oxford on Sunday morning and looked around the Colleges, after we had booked out. She was able to deal with my husband's dietary requirements, which we had told her about in advance. The décor of our room was light and modern.
Cons: There was not much moving around room in the ensuite bathroom, but good use was made of every available space in the whole room, and we managed.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Clean, comfortable and Ashley (the manager) is super lovely and makes you feel super welcome Breakfast is superb
Cons: The location is a bit out of hand but if you are into walking it will take you around 40 min to reach Oxford City centre walking and around 10 min by bus It is in front of the Wolvercote Cemetery (the one that holds JRR Tolkien tomb)
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Lovely host, nicely furnished room with thoughtful additions such as fridge, sweets, hairdryer were above and beyond expectations. Likewise breakfast very good. Ample parking and bus stop right outside with buses into city centre every few minutes made this a good location.
Cons: Bathroom was very small, but amp!e with good shower. Being in a city there is a little traffic noise when window open, but not enough to be an issue.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: amazing staff, great breakfast, great room with nice facilities
Cons: nothing
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Lovely host, great place to stay
Cons: All OK
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The staff was very accommodating and kind. The breakfast was excellent with many options. The location is right off of a bus route which was very convenient.
Cons: The bathroom was very small and the bed was not very comfortable.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: very clean, friendly staff, food good value. room large and comfortable complete with full sky tv.
Cons: a little remote,
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Had eggs benedict for breakfast, partner had full English - both delicious. Also had an evening meal there - Very reasonable, generous portions and good food.
Cons: No problems! If we'd realised it was so close to the cotswolds, we would have stayed longer!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Superb breakfast. Best we have had anywhere. Cooked to order and great choice. Evening meals equally good. All staff happy helpful and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. A great team.
Cons: Use hotel 's postcode only. Sturdy ''s castle itself is 2 miles away! Room could have had brighter lighting.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff and restaurant were great. Bed was comfortable and rooms very adequate
Cons: Nothing to speak of
Excellent 8.0
Pros: very convenient, friendly, clean an comfortable.
Cons: there were some twenty rooms in an adjacent block, which made it nice and quiet but chilly moving between bar and bed at this time of year.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Room was large and comfortable and the facilities were good with working TV and WiFi. Staff always polite, cheery and helpful.
Cons: Limited choice for breakfast with no fruit or yoghurt. No lounge area to meet friends.
Good 7.0
Pros: Clean room with all the expected facilities, staff very good, friendly and helpful.
Cons: We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon to find out the kitchen closed at 6 p.m. Nowhere in walking distance to eat so had to go out in the car later to find somewhere, not ideal.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Nice clean room, good tv. Ample parking. Near main road.
Cons: The way the manager talked to me when I told him I did not like the food. I ordered a hotpot (regular price £12.95). What I got was a tiny bowl of stew with sliced boiled potato on top. On the plate were unappetizing green beans and carrots (boiled from frozen?). When I said that this was not hot pot as the potatoes need to be thinly sliced and cooked with the meat I was told that "this is how we do it". I showed him many photos of hot pots on google but he was having none of it and argued and was nasty. I returned it to the kitchen but he told the lady at the till 'she's paying for it!'. The other lady behind the bar was angry with me too as the 'chef' was her son. Very unprofessional, nasty, aggressive and an altogether horrible experience. I was tempted to call the Police because of the way I was treated (single woman alone). Please note: there was no swearing however I have never had such a bad experience in hospitality.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: The character of the building, the 2 chairs in the room, the towels, comfy bed and good breakfast (excellent omelettes). Unobtrusive service.
Cons: It's in an old building so there's the odd creek. Some might find the outside stairs awkward.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast was good. Room was full of character, clean and comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast would be better with fresh rather than tinned fruit salad and bread other than standard thin sliced. No plug in the bathroom sink.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location is EXCELLENT! Room was exactly what I was hoping for, given the price charged i was very pleasantly surprised, it was really really good value.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location. Comfortable room and nice breakfast.
Cons: Room above ours was occupied and had disturbed nights sleep due to creaky floorboards.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very comfy and so central - staff were very friendly and felt it was excellent value for money.
Cons: A bit noisy early in the morning with rubbish being collected, but that’s the price you pay for being in town !
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff were lovely and the breakfast was more than adequate. The location was very good for getting to Blenheim Place which was the purpose of our journey. Lovey town with plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from.
Cons: When we arrived at Woodstock the roads hotel where shut of because the local fair was in town. We finally persuaded someone to open the barrier so that we could drop off our bags. There was no parking at the hotel and we could not find any 24hr parking in Woodstock which was a problem as we intended not to use the car during our stay. One of the two rooms we booked was very nice, but we did have to comment on the stained duvet. The second room was very tired looking, with torn curtain, cracked sink, and broken shower head holder in bathroom etc. Also, if we had been informed of the fair we would not have booked this week as the stalls etc detracted from the enjoyment of the lovely stone buildings etc.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: everything was fine.
Cons: Friendly staff. Big room ( little bit too warm for us not easy to cool). Nice breakfast. Good value for money. Parking right outside was very useful after difficult night drive in the drizzle.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Creaky stairs but we were in room 54 so we didn't suffer at night! It is a very old characterful building so I shouldn't complain really.
Cons: Lovely staff. Rooms clean and interesting. Food excellent.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We were upgraded to a suite which overlooked the street. Very nice, lots of room. Great bathroom with lovely toiletries. Good breakfast and meal with friends the night before. Would stay again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic as always
Cons: Nothing at all
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hidden gem of a hotel. Amazing decor, very helpfull and friendly staff and the location is perfect
Cons: Nothing

Excellent 9.0
Pros: perfect location. Beautiful room….old world charm with all mod cons. Spotlessly clean and the breakfast was FANTASTIC! Loved that the rooms were named after kings. Wished we could have stayed for longer.
Cons: shower cubicle was a little small……but I am quite large!
Good 7.0
Pros: Good location. Quite good food. Good beer. Nice building and decor.
Cons: No milk for room drinks - it's apparently available in a small jug but you don't know that until you ask. We weren't offered toast or orange juice for breakfast despite both being available if you ask. Some of the staff were better at offering you these things than others - one seemed to be of the opinion that you got nothing unless you asked for it.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Food and service was excellent. Every meal we had exceeded our expectations. Can’t believe this place is only rated 3 star.
Cons: Nothing everything was great.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location was excellent . Staff were very friendly Lovely breakfast with a variety of options. Service was very good and very efficient.
Cons: Nothing. Had a lovely stay
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location Wine glasses Atmosphere in the bar Breakfast was excellent
Cons: Unwelcoming welcome on arrival Squeaky mattress
Good 7.0
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Good in-room consumables, both refreshments and toiletries.
Cons: As we don't eat a cooked breakfast, we would have appreciated a wider choice of bread / croissants etc; a better quality continental breakfast.
Good 7.0
Pros: the room was fine, we used local restaurants in the evening (in walking distance) and found the location good for sightseeing around Cambridge.
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Style comfort and location. Loved the products in the bathroom. Food was lovely.
Cons: Very high up window and some noise from traffic on the road. Would have been nice to have the option for cold and cooked breakfast. Menu was taken away after I ordered museli.
Good 7.0
Pros: Lovely rooms and great bar. Breakfast was exceptional
Cons: No car park
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Good breakfast,and excellent location
Cons: We would have liked to be told that the fair arrived in town the same time as we did.very hard to park ,plus the big wheel was right outside our bedroom window. The noise and our privacy was terrible.we were on the third floor and people could see in our room.It spoiled our holiday.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff were brilliant. The bar choice was excellent as were dinner and breakfast menus.
Cons: My only criticism would be that the mattress was a tad on the hard side.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: All very good.
Cons: nothing. Only slight downside is that you need to park in road or Long Stay which all have time limits , but they don,t seem to be strictly enforced, ... I am waiting for my Parking Fine ...even though the " Fair " was in town and no where to Park !!!!

Good 7.0
Pros: Waiter in the Bowery restaurant was excellent. Really fantastic service from him, he really did a great job during our family dinner
Cons: Pool tiny. Pool cloudy. Only 30 min slots for kids to swim. No mention on your web site that you HAD to pre book Swim slot. Room temperature set at 32 degrees when we walked in that night. Impossible to get it cool after that. Thermostat kept putting it automatically back to 32 degrees until turned off by front desk
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean and tidy with a modern bathroom.
Cons: Swimming pool was small and an odd shape.
Good 7.0
Pros: spacious
Cons: no safe in room and bath screen not sealed properly and water leaks out and flush button has problems ! Curtains rail is broken and so therefore not hang properly !
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good location. Clean & comfortable.
Cons: The food in the restaurant was average at best.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very clean and efficient..
Cons: NO dislikes
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Lots of parking. Good room, fine for a few nights. Clean. Lovely bed linen.
Cons: The hallways needed cleaning. Bottles and glasses were left outside rooms. Too far out to walk in so we had to use taxis.
Good 6.0
Pros: The door on the Executive room would not close and had to be slammed shut causing a disturbance to the entire floor
Excellent 8.8
Very good stay and staff helpful. Would certainly recommend the Jurys Inn, Oxford. Food was good although soft drink prices were excessive.
Good 7.6
Great stay!
Excellent 8.2
Cons: No elevators. Long walks to
Excellent 8.4
overally nice :) the one thing what was inconvenient was that there was no lift for luggages. the staff who helped me and my family was so kind and polite. will never forget that staff.
Okay 4.2
Pros: Breakfast except for The coffee
Cons: Small room, tiny bathroom, small pool Long walk to room No Soap in bathroom No minibar in room
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: the place was clean
Cons: Jurys Inn had no charm. It was a modern space, dorm room style maze. A lot of eastern European workers with no charm. The red head curly haired euro woman need to learn to smile. I hated my stay here. No food at night. Cold AC. Wankers!
Good 6.8
Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: THe hotel is geting a big refurbishment. Restaurant is closed, so rather than eat breakfast in a conferance room, we went into the city instead. In the bedrooms, the choice of opaque glass door to the bathroom was an odd one. Especially as in my room it faces directly onto the bed. I may look stylish, but is not particularly sound proof! And if anyone wants to us the bath room in thhe night, the doors is lit up like an enormous night light!
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Great Staff! Great workout room and Sauna!

Pros: I paid online requesting also sofa bed, which was readied with linen and extra towels when I checked in -thoughtful! The room and bath were sparkling clean. We didn't need to pay our teenage sons extra for b'fast which was tasty. Easy parking and grocery.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very pleasant stay. Helpful and pleasant staff. Full room rates feel a bit expensive though.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Perfect location in Woodstock, very close to Blenheim Palace. Room had good view of main street and was very comfortable . Excellent cooked breakfast.
Cons: Adding 12.5% service charge (preprinted on receipt; not optional) to two already quite pricey drinks in the bar especially as we were at the bar counter (i.e. no table service involved). The chitty even had the cheek to ask if I wanted to add a further gratuity! Needless to say we had our evening drinks elsewhere on subsequent evenings. Bedroom soundproofing (noise from street and adjoining room) not great, but half expected from an old building with single glazing & adjoining door...ear plugs cured this. Email from hotel said they were employing extra Covid measures, but with zero wearing of masks from staff (and almost all guests), this is obviously not being taken seriously despite rising Covid cases :-(
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The ambiance was amazing. Staff super friendly and helpful The staff made the place feel luxurious which was let down but room decoration (paintwork) and quality of mattress
Cons: The mattress was very hard
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean comfortable friendly excellent location
Cons: Bar manager evening of October 19.... we found him rather rude!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location was lovely, very close to the grounds of Blenheim Palace and central to Woodstock and all it has to offer. It's away from the main road so quiet at night. The hotel is an historical coaching inn. Dinner and breakfast were super; tasty and plentiful. The staff were warm and professional.
Cons: The hotel felt a little overcrowded but that was only due to our visit coinciding with a three day booking of a very large group (80+) of people. Consequently the shared areas were very busy but only at specific times of the day. I would like to return on a quieter day. Parking is tricky if you're travelling far as spaces are on a first come, first served basis. The hotel has two car parks but they were full, so we parked on the street and had to move the car a few times because of parking restrictions in the area. I don't think there's anything the hotel can do about that.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very clean and helpful staff
Cons: Nothing all excellent
Excellent 9.2
Perfect location Helpful friendly staff Clean spacious rooms with good facilities
Good 7.2
An interesting ' Oldie Worldly ' hotel with lots of character and charm but short on facilities. But set in an old Cotswold town its ideal for a short break.
Excellent 8.8
Lovely secluded room in the courtyard, parking right outside. Perfect location in centre of town and on the boundary of Blenheim palace.
Good 6.0
Pros: Lovely room. Very comfortable and cosy with a good bed and plenty of hot water. Friendly Head lady on at breakfast. Plenty of gluten free options.
Cons: Very slow breakfast. Waited along time for the breakfast to arrive. Not very comfortable restaurant or bar area. No evening menu until the restaurant opened at 1900 and then very limited choice.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: The room was clean comfortable and surprisingly modern, refurbished sympathetically. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Very friendly welcome and old fashioned customer service standards

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Accommodated the dog, which was brilliant.
Cons: £20 extra for the dog was a bit steep. The doors to the rooms and to the car park and bar need to be softened. People letting them go and loud bangs going on all the time. Not appreciated in the early morning when someone leaves..at 6am!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Warm ,friendly and welcoming owners in an ideal location for visiting blenheim Palace and Oxford.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing hosts, Lovely and clean, comfy bed, warm, ironing board in room, Great food, good breakfast
Cons: Back door key is hard to use
Good 7.0
Pros: Warm welcome. Comfy bed. Good breakfast. Friendly Staff and Owners.
Cons: No plug for the sink in the bathroom. Key to side door from car park very temperamental, i.e. difficult to open door. I was confused by an email confirming booking which lead me to believe there was no charge for any special requests. As Babbu pointed out, further down, the terms and conditions showed a £20 charge for dogs. This meant the cost was more than we paid elsewhere for better accommodation during the holiday.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Friendly service and decent curry although the portion size was very small.. Dog friendly which was a bonus but £20 for a dog seemed excessive as I made more mess than he did.. Pub feels in need of a freshen up...
Cons: Could do with a bit of tlc in the B&B.. Breakfast portion was tiny...
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast really good and plenty of it,room comfortable but a little small, staff amazing.
Cons: Bar prices a little high but overall good.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Rooms were big, beds comfortable, shower and bath were great (with great water pressure for the former). Pub downstairs was well stocked. Breakfasts were ample and enjoyable. The one dinner we had was great value to share a single portion. Most of all the hosts were so friendly and welcoming.
Cons: As public transport users the property was a bit out of the way and difficult to get back to from Oxford Centre if you stayed in town beyond 8pm. Will definitely hire a car if we stay there again. Pub directly below the rooms can get a bit rowdy (particularly weekends) which made getting an early night difficult.
Good 6.0
Pros: The location was fine and the room warm and comfortable. The welcome and service were good.
Cons: No extractor fan in the bathroom, so after a shower we had to open the window, which was badly cracked and should have been replaced before the room was allowed to be occupied. The cooked breakfast was fine, but one felt it was kept to a bare minimum. Only butter provided with the toast. We had hoped to eat in the evening, but only curry was on offer and I am allergic to Indian food. Had we known there was only this choice available, we may have booked somewhere else. We had to look for somewhere else to eat in the evenings, which meant no alcohol for the driver.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Family room perfect, food really good for evening and breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
Good 6.0
Pros: The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom smelled funny and the shower head sprayed at an angle. The duvet was too small for the bed. The room lacked style but had all the necessary facilities
Good 7.0
Pros: Good location, comfortable room, clean, quiet, friendly staff
Cons: Booking.com said check in was from 2pm but they were closed when we arrived… the owner told us they have told Booking.com that they are closed between 2-5 but they haven’t altered it online … not the owners fault and we just went exploring to Oxford
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Based in a lovely village close to Bleinheim Palace and Oxford
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Large, comfortable bed in a decent sized room with good storage. En-suite had a good shower. Finished off with a freshly cooked full English breakfast - result.
Cons: Ample, free off road parking BUT could just do with a bit of extra lighting if I’m being picky.

Good 7.2
We stayed sunday night but had not checked pub times. Unfortunately it shuts at 6. The room was adequate for what we needed but no iron or ironing board. Breakfast was good quality cooked full English.
Excellent 9.6
The pub is just outside Woodstock which is perfect after a days shopping at Bicester then a visit to Blenheim palace the next day . The new owners have just renovated the property to a high standard. Food was homemade and locally sourced. If staying don’t forget to book a table as this is a very popular place to eat as well as stay. Highly recommend
Excellent 8.0
Pros: breakfast
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Friendly staff, great breakfast, cosy pub with open fires.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Yes the room are a little dated but they are spacious, very clean and have everything you could want ! The friendly owner let us check in early ! The food was of a good standard ! Lovely cosy pub sitting by the log fire.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful old building lovely village beds very comfortable and lovely shower
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great staff very friendly and helpful. Hygiene is a priority here which is good to see especially their COVID measures. Good breakfast very tasty but more selection would be nice. Excellent location and value for money.
Cons: Good breakfast very tasty but more selection would be nice.
Good 7.0
Pros: Hospitality, breakfast and location close to Woodstock all good. The parking on-site is very good if that is a need.
Cons: The rooms are motel style, separated as a block from the pub and are a little dated, needing some refurbishment. Not a 'vacation' option, but fine for a 'stop-over'. WiFi code was not available in the room and was needed as mobile signal reception is poor in the area. Otherwise fine and reasonable value overall.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room was fairly basic but the bed was very comfortable, the shower was good. There was a good choice on the menu, very pleased with our meals. The music was great, an excellent mix of popular music, played at a pleasant level. It was a pleasure, thank you Derek!
Cons: Nothing worth mentioning.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: lovely room… friendly greeting from staff and really beautiful, warm and welcoming feel to this accommodation
Cons: nothing
Okay 4.0
Pros: When I initally booked into room 4 it looked very inviting. However I did request to order breakfast but was told it was too late. During the early hours of the next morning a large piece of coving cement fell from over the window, and fell onto the bed as I lay in it. Fortunately I was not injured but I was shocked . I waited for some time to meet the local manager next morning who apologised and advised I send an email to his manager which I subsequently did on the same day. To date I have received no response or recompense which I find very disappointing.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Hair in the bath and bin in bedroom let the cleanliness down.
Cons: Friendliness of staff. Nothing too much trouble. Relaxed atmosphere.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I thought the staff were very helpful, sociable and friendly.
Cons: If you want a cooked breakfast, it was a bit late 10am.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Lovely location
Cons: Dark dingy room , issues with noise being next door to a staff bedroom in the early hours
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Breakfast very good. Location good
Cons: No duvet cover stains on sheet tea tray dirty chair dusty
Good 7.0
Pros: Friendly staff, easy parking, rooms were clean.
Cons: The hand basins were a bit too low.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We didn't have breakfast on either day as we needed to be on the move before 10.00 which is the time breakfast was starting and was a little late for us. I do have a question. I know it is little while since we were at the hotel but I left a white blouse in the room and I was wondering if it may be in your lost property box. If so I am happy to pay for the return and postage.
Cons: Nothing it was all very acceptable. We certainly would stay there again.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: My second visit the staff our fantastic accommodating and friendly. The food is beautiful and the place is quaint! Bedrooms are clean and beds and linen are white crisp and fresh. Congratulations on lovely big bath towels ☺️ Although the showers are dated they are a lovely size work well and are nice and hot.
Cons: The first impression as you come via the back doors gave me a little panic as the carpets are very tired and dirty. The bedrooms are a little tired and could do with a freshen up coat of paint. The bathroom looked like it had,had a historical leak and the floor was lifting and the backboard where it had been wet is back and just a little unsightly. However I do think perhaps these things will be on the to do list once the turmoil of Covid and the lack of custom over that time has settled. This does not put us off coming back!!
Good 7.0
Pros: Staff were accommodating and gave us a room that faced the back of the hotel (away from the room). Bed was comfortable and the room/bedding was clean. Great location for visiting Blenheim palace.
Cons: All night there was a sound of extractor fans (a humming sound) starting and stopping which caused us to have a bit of a disturbed night sleep.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Carpark, staff, food all good. Room was perfectly acceptable.
Cons: Very late check-in (5pm) and very early check-out (10am)
Good 6.0
Pros: Good pre arrival communication. The location was ideal. Nice gin selection to choose from. Restaurant /bar area very comfy/cosy feel, plus modern. Good Artisan pizzas available.
Cons: Thought the bedroom decor and corridors were very tired. Curtains didnt swish properly, kept getting stuck on the rail.Blue Carpeting throughout needed a good clean and was pretty worn on some stairs. Could do with a full length mirror in the bedroom and a few hooks on backs of the doors. Tv aerial was a bit of a pain. Breakfast wasn't that great. My eggs weren't cooked properly, sent them back and still runny. Didn't seem to grasp my requirement at all. Bacon and sausage quality could have been better. Think you need to up your game, with so many lovely cafes/places locally. Also was surprised with the actual portion size of the meat in my steak and ale pie, when l removed the pie crust, there was a big gap of air pie! However, it was very tasty
Okay 5.0
Pros: Had a nice warm welcoming fire. Clean. Staff were welcome min by and friendly.
Cons: No Wi-Fi in room 8. Needed it for job applications. Had to work in main restaurant area, which was not ideal, when needing to concentrate.
Good 7.0
Pros: Comfortable and homely excellent location in Woodstock
Cons: The rooms are a little tired and could do with an upgrade
Good 7.0
Pros: On the plus side the breakfast was great and the lady who cooked it was extremely helpful and polite.
Cons: The room was quite tired and needed a fresh coat of paint. The bed would benefit by having a New mattress. Bathroom was the same, also a black hair inthe sink showed lack a checking prior to occupancy. Tap cord not attached to the sink, again a little fault that could easily be rectified. I think it gets away with this due to location.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Good full English breakfast. And perfect location for Blenheim Palace the next morning. Jolly, friendly team... nice welcome.
