Excellent 10.0
Pros: Made to feel welcome on arrival and it’s a beautiful place in a great location
Okay 5.8
Pros: Great location. Gentleman in the bar ....Octvaious? ...was great.
Cons: The service was hit & miss. We were asked if we would like to see the pudding menu and said yes please, then never saw another member of staff in the restaurant. Also, we were very hot during the night. And on inspection, the bed has a plastic backed mattress cover. Not nice.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: excellent breakfast with good menu choice and flexibility if requesting things not on the menu. Attractive decor, friendly staff.
Cons: This is an old property with creaky narrow stairs, not suitable for the infirm

Good 7.5
Pros: Very well situated for visiting family in Kidlington. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast but would have enjoyed some fresh fruit
Cons: Bed could have been a little bigger only 4'6". Next time would book larger bed
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location for Blenheim. Good clean room . Evening meal was lovely, good choices and large portions.... be warned!!!! Good range of food for breakfast with a good choice of freshly cooked food. Friendly staff.
Good 7.9
Pros: Nice to have a sizeable TV in the room and have SKY package. Nice breakfast freshly cooked bacon was exceptionally good.
Cons: Nothing really. It was a quick overnight for us as my wife was doing 10k run for Heart Foundation st Blenheim Palace. It matched what we needed
Okay 5.4
Pros: Nice clean room, good tv. Ample parking. Near main road.
Cons: The way the manager talked to me when I told him I did not like the food. I ordered a hotpot (regular price £12.95). What I got was a tiny bowl of stew with sliced boiled potato on top. On the plate were unappetizing green beans and carrots (boiled from frozen?). When I said that this was not hot pot as the potatoes need to be thinly sliced and cooked with the meat I was told that "this is how we do it". I showed him many photos of hot pots on google but he was having none of it and argued and was nasty. I returned it to the kitchen but he told the lady at the till 'she's paying for it!'. The other lady behind the bar was angry with me too as the 'chef' was her son. Very unprofessional, nasty, aggressive and an altogether horrible experience. I was tempted to call the Police because of the way I was treated (single woman alone). Please note: there was no swearing however I have never had such a bad experience in hospitality.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The hotel was excellent if a little remote service & breakfast were also excellent
Cons: nothing negative with the stay
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Bedrooms were spacious.
Good 7.5
Pros: Good location for nearby attractions we went to visit Blenheim Palace just a few miles away. Bar food good value and good size meals and an excellent breakfast included with room. Staff very friendly and helpful good sized clean room and a free car park as well.
Cons: Bed was a bit bit on the hard side and the TV was temperamental with loss of signal problems.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: We enjoyed our stay; the Resturant was excellent and reasonably priced; breakfast was excellent + We would most certainly book again when visiting the area
Cons: Our room was very good, but the bath taps didn’t work too well. Toilet didn’t flush too well, water level set too low. Some maintenance is needed.

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Room, location etc it was a good spot.
Cons: The poor internet in Room 267. Following a call to tech support they said we would have internet in 5 min and we did, but it fell out in 8 minutes. They also said they ,they would ring back if there were problems, the call never came.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Illy was amazing very helpful
Cons: The breakfast manager was not welcoming
Okay 4.2
Pros: Breakfast except for The coffee
Cons: Small room, tiny bathroom, small pool Long walk to room No Soap in bathroom No minibar in room
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Great Staff! Great workout room and Sauna!
Good 6.8
Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: THe hotel is geting a big refurbishment. Restaurant is closed, so rather than eat breakfast in a conferance room, we went into the city instead. In the bedrooms, the choice of opaque glass door to the bathroom was an odd one. Especially as in my room it faces directly onto the bed. I may look stylish, but is not particularly sound proof! And if anyone wants to us the bath room in thhe night, the doors is lit up like an enormous night light!
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: the place was clean
Cons: Jurys Inn had no charm. It was a modern space, dorm room style maze. A lot of eastern European workers with no charm. The red head curly haired euro woman need to learn to smile. I hated my stay here. No food at night. Cold AC. Wankers!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The breakfast was good, just a bit busy seating wise. The location suited us well and there is a nice big on site car park.
Cons: I had no complaints.
Good 7.5
Pros: Clean, comfortable and quiet room Decent breakfast Professional conference service (I was there for a conference) Free parking
Good 7.9
Pros: Leisure facilities available eg pool etc although we didn’t use them. Staff extremely helpful and went above and beyond. Good location to get bus into Oxford.
Cons: Room much too hot! It was 24 degrees so we put the air conditioning on to 17 degrees but it pumped out hot air making the room even hotter. Room v basic for the price.
Excellent 8.2
Cons: No elevators. Long walks to

Excellent 8.8
Pros: Diana is very hospitable, all rooms are clean and the breakfast is great value. Close proximity to Summertime for pubs and restaurants.
Cons: WiFi wasn't great and single rooms are very small for a big man like me!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The welcome was expansive. Room exactly what I needed. Location ideal.
Cons: Noise from nearby junction was persistent, but I was too tired to stay awake and listen to it.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Location was good, bus stop close by and on weekends it is free to park on the road outside B&B
Cons: Wifi kept cutting out throughout the night, I had a lamp with no bulb, quite expensive considering I had a small room with shared bathroom and no breakfast. Not good value for money.
Good 6.7
Pros: The room was good and tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The young lady running the place was very pleasant and helpful. (I believe she was a local university student working over the summer vacation) The location, although not central, was very close to a frequent bus service
Cons: Although it was adequate, I felt that at £115 per night, it is over-priced. Secondly, although advertised as B and B, no breakfast was available!!!
Okay 4.2
Pros: There were no interference. Location was close to city. I was allowed to park. I arrived early and was let in.
Cons: I did not have breakfast as I believe that a Bed and breakfast should include breakfast and not charge separately. Location was noisy at night. Full of spiders. Cleanliness below par. No housekeeping during stay. Rubbish could have been emptied if not daily. Stain on radiator in shower, on cubicle and filthy behind toilet. There was only one sachet of coffee and not enough of other tea facilities. Not a single biscuit. Furniture are tatty and should all be replaced. AS FOR LUXURY THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE. The owner was kind enough to let me in early but was sort of grumpy.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Easy parking and access to the town , absolutely perfect , personalised breakfast prepared to order , warm welcome and persistent pleasantness from my host - Diana
Cons: Nothing really comes to mind

Pros: enjoyed dinner and breakfast and friendlyness of the manager and staff - enjoyed the open fire place - hotel was easy to find
Cons: located a little too far out of Woodstock which meant we had to use the car to visit Windsor central as opposed to leaving the car and walking we didn't realise this at the time of booking - also free WIFI only worked in the bar area not in your room - no real problem but just a little inconvenient

Cons: Would have liked bath but not big deal Open fire in restaurant

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel was a suprise for our trip. Woodstock turns out to be a fantastic little town just outside Oxford. It's convenient by car, either for travelling to Oxford or going to Bicester for shopping. The Blenheim Palace is just next door and is a great place to visit. The hotel is a 900 years old building, but was been taken good care of. The room is sizable and comfort. My family and I enjoyed the stay very much.
Cons: No lifts. But that's normal for most of the hotels with a history.
Good 6.0
Pros: Lovely room. Very comfortable and cosy with a good bed and plenty of hot water. Friendly Head lady on at breakfast. Plenty of gluten free options.
Cons: Very slow breakfast. Waited along time for the breakfast to arrive. Not very comfortable restaurant or bar area. No evening menu until the restaurant opened at 1900 and then very limited choice.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Spacious room; helpfulness of staff; location close to Blenheim Palace; history of the hotel
Cons: Everything was perfect
Excellent 9.4
Pros: The room was clean comfortable and surprisingly modern, refurbished sympathetically. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Very friendly welcome and old fashioned customer service standards

Pros: It was and clearly has potential to be excellent with a little decor improvement
Cons: Too late time for check in and a too early check out, esp on weekends .. Some areas need a refresh on carpet and decor..
Good 6.7
Pros: Good location, good breakfast
Cons: The Alcoholic beverages were poor.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Good location for Blenheim Palace, helpful night staff, good bathroom.
Cons: Despite booking (and confirming) late check out I was woken up 2 hours before my check out time and asked to leave. Manageress was very unfriendly and unhelpful. There was broken guttering outside my window which was causing huge amounts of water to batter the window- very noisy and kept waking me up. She seemed totally uninterested and simply said that that’s what happens when it rains! When I asked for a taxi into Blenheim she stated it was only just down the road and I could walk, and even after I explained I was aiming for the other side of the park (wedding marquee by the lake) and I had bags AND it was raining she said ‘it’s still only a 10 minute walk!’ Turns out it’s 1.5 miles, and the gate staff had been briefed to let in taxis. Wouldn’t stay here again, too unfriendly for £150 per night!
Excellent 10.0

Pros: The staff were great. The food was excellent. The room was clean and comfy
Cons: The carpets in the bar and the landing and stairs need some attention. Worn and dirty in places. The smoking area was not very clean. We don’t smoke but the area let it down as we passed it on our way out to the car park

Pros: The Punchbowl is a charming local pub in the village of Woodstock and ideal if you are visiting Blenheim Palace. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the check-in process was quick and smooth. The room was clean and comfortable and as it was a cold day the fact that the heating was working well was very much appreciated. On-site parking is a big advantage although you need to make sure that you pre-book this as spaces are limited. Breakfast was very good, we were given a very friendly greeting with fresh coffee and a made to order English breakfast which was very good.
Cons: The room was very clean and had everything that we needed but it was looking a little tired and would benefit from some refurbishment. The bathroom was especially in need of being refreshed. Everything worked but needed refreshing just a little

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were very friendly. The location was amazing. Quintessential English pub on the canal. Meals and breakfast were delicious- breakfast cooked to order and plenty of choice.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The ambience of the establishment has great potential. It is canal side but I didn't see any mooring areas. The breakfast is of decent quality. The lawns were of good quality and well kept.
Cons: What the Hotel lacked was a) A chef that turns up for work on a Friday night, b) All (1) the staff on duty had started their employment that day and didn't have any supervision. Is this not illegal under the H&S at work act and the safety of the employee. It was nigh impossible to organize an early morning phone alarm as the staff didn't know how to. I actually ended up getting my wife to phone the hotel to do the deed. The reason for this, the screen on my mobile failed. No email, no phone, no text, no alarm function, no photo's just nothing. Felt as though I had lost an arm and a leg. The new employee could only suggest I go down to the next pub for any food I may need!!!
Good 7.5
Pros: A greater choice of non cooked foods at breakfast would have been nice - for example fruit croissants and fresh yogurts - staff were always polite and friendly , cooked food was excellent and a good choice nice to have fresg bread form the Pattisere at Kidlington.
Cons: We appreciate that the public areas have to be cleaned but please not when guests are still eating breakfast - spraying air freshener around in toilets with doors open to bar area was not nice the fumes really were not pleasant and made us cough. Evening meals would have been nice rather than going out - maybe next time we stay they will be available ?
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Goo breakfast. Location a way out of town, but right on a working canal.
Good 7.5
Pros: Ashley was very cheerful and happy to help us .
Cons: Food stops at 8pm.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Very comfy bed. Great location. Choice of 4 buses into Oxford
Cons: The weather but that’s not their fault!
