Good stay, despite the renovations underway
I stay at the Pullman Bercy often because of its wonderful staff, great location, and it’s quality rooms. As a traveler who spends over about 200 nights a year on the road, the Pullman always delivers a quality lodging experience.
In an effort to improve their facilities, they are undertaking a major renovation of the lobby, bar, and restaurant. Renovations are expected to last through August 2018. I am sure the finished product will be nice as it is planned to include a pool, but in the mean time, guests should be aware of the improvements under way. The hotel still functions well, so it may be a great time to enjoy discounted room rates at a great property.
They have mice
They have mouses all over. Have pictures to prove. Told the staff. They really didn't try to put any effort in at least saying excuse on behalf of their hotel
Convenient and Quiet lodging in Bercy
The Pullman location is excellent and convenient, just off the Metro Line 14 St. Emillion stop. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and healthy, a great way to start a busy day in Paris. We find the housekeeping to be very thorough and welcoming, and the reception staff are professional, cheerful and helpful. There is a nice collection of reasonably priced restaurants nearby in case you don't want to travel far for a bite while getting over jet lag.
As with much of Paris, the price is a bit steep for what you get. Yet we have found this location to provide a reliable and comfortable experience.
Great Hotel in Bercy, Paris
The hotel was in the hear of Bercy. Walking distance to the river and dining. We choose this location because of the tour company that planned to pick us up here. Great rooms, services and breakfast! Linda- California
We were happy with all of the services of the hotel.
Nice hotel, clean, good facilities, modern, confortable room
Place. Close to the metro.
Parking fee, 29euro/night. Too expensive
The beds are excellent and the sofa for my little daugther was also very comfortable with lots of pillows. The rooms are really very silent even being a very large hotel, except at the morning (maybe from 9 or so) when they begin with the cleaning. But this is normal.
The breakfast is bit expensive (22 euros per adult) and they also charge between 10 and 15 euros even for a young child, which I consider too much. Another point is is that you need to combine two metro lines to reach most of the Paris attractions, and if you are with young children this can complicate your stay. But for persons without children this is not a problem at all.
Room was spacious and well appointed
Not enough overhead light
It is a little of city center but still very convenient located, with lots of restaurants nearby and a subway takes you right into the city center. Decent sized room with modern design. A hotel would cost three times more if in the city center. Save the money if you can stand 10 minutes of subway!
The lovely Bercy Village steps away, full of good bars, restaurants, and shops.
booking.com did not send the confirmation to the Hotel, when we arrived with our confirmation number, they did not have it. very upset with that
The beds were amazingly comfortable and made us book the Sofitel by the airport for the night before I flight home when coming in from Rome before returning to US, rate was much higher than others at airport but we wanted that bed!
A little far out from sites, but metro stop right there and Bercy Village is a wonderful little area. Internet & breakfast items were expensive.
great location within easy reach of city centre
very comfortable , easy to take subway , no charges for internet
too expensive for breakfast buffet
Nice comfortabel hotel, modern and god facilities
The staff i did encounter was rude and not guest oriented. My pay tv was not working and I did call the reception at 1o,30 at night. After struggling for a half hour with the tv I did not get it to work. After contacting the reception again I was informed that there was a technical problem and theta it would be fixed next day. I did inform the lady that this was not acceptable for me she informed me rude that the technical department was closed and that she could not help me further and hang up the phone without a further word. Also in the lobby I had an unpleasant encounter with on of the staff, I was having my morning coffee and was smoking a small cigar the size of a cigarette in the smoking section . While being on the phone the waiter told me that I was not allowed to smoke a cigar, I interrupted my phone conversation and ask why, he told me that it was written on a sign that was standing on the other table. Stupid of me I had to go first around all the tables in the lobby and see and read all the signs. There was no ashtray on the table so I wanted first to finish my phone call and then dispose of my cigar. This was not enough for the waiter, he told me angry, I told you before you are not allow to smoke a cigar here. I did ask him what he wanted me to do, stop my business phone conversation and start running around looking for an ashtray or put the dammed cigar in my nose or ear. An angry look and an ashtray thrown ont the table was the result
