Terrible PAYLESS experience in Guatemala CityCons:Extorted money for "mandatory" insurance, despite having paid for full insurance through Payless/Kayak. Car was worse then the car I learned to drive on(1971 VW bus), the brake light was taped on, headlights were positioned incorrectly, you could only see in the dark while going up a hill, even with high beams. When idling the whole car shook like we were having a huge earthquake. And the car felt like it only had 2 cylinders. Very bad experience.Reviewed 22 Jan. 2017

It's okPros:Well they did not have the vehicle I had reserved. They did upgrade me to a van type vehicle but was stick shift. No real issues just not my first choice from an SUV. The staff friendly and helpful no complaints on them.Cons:Well I purchased insurance through Kayak. When arrived I got hit with an additional $200 and some dollars in insurance that was mandatory. I showed them insurance purchased and they said yes but does not cover all so I ended up paying over $350 in insurance. Just wish they were upfront before reserving car.Reviewed 14 Sep. 2016
