Food was great and services was beyond expectations. Made our vacation wonderful!
Drinks we sometimes inconsistent depending on which bartender made them.
The drinks were good and food.
I came here to kayake alone but was told that all of the single use kayaks were not in working order. Also, the spa staff was given 2day notice cancelaton on an appointment but stated that I would still be charged half when it clealy states on the policy that this is for late or no shows. Very high pressure and poor professionalism. I will not be back due to this.
The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the food was really good. Great variety and the servers are really accommodating. There was limited space by the pool, but still offered a relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the presence of all the wildlife on the property. Iguanas, deer, and the very adorable coatis!
It was extremely hot, and the lobby is open which made it very uncomfortable at times, especially at check in which took much longer than expected. Which leads me to the next issue I had, I really didn’t appreciate that I couldn’t enjoy the few days I had at the resort without having someone push me into some kind of money making venture. It got to be really annoying and overwhelming that I couldn’t walk to the pool in peace; a massage, or a tour, or hours long presentations for future bookings at other hotels. I felt it was very unprofessional and a little sleazy of them to take advantage of tourists in that way. We were greeted thinking we were being given a tour and got stuck for an hour sweating profusely, with information about another hotel. I went for my birthday and was told I’d receive something “special” in my room, which I’m assuming got cancelled when I opted out of being tortured for hours on my vacation. I also didn’t appreciate the “free” shopping tour that drops you off at a jewelry store for an extended period of time in an attempt to yet again get some more money out of you. But then leaves you with very little time to actually do shopping for yourself at the strip, before being picked up and shoved in to a van with not enough seats for everyone booked for the tour. One of us got stuck in the front sitting in the middle (not an actual seat) by the gear shift and was painfully in discomfort the entire ride. So just beware of these “incentives” the hotel pushes on you if you’re just there to relax and enjoy your vacation. It would suit you to plan excursions outside of the hotel and be firm about not wanting what ever they’re offering, remember that NOTHING IS FREE! They also appear to be cognizant of allergies requiring you to fill out forms listing them, but PLEASE pay attention regardless because I specifically stated pineapples as an allergy and was given water with pineapple slices in it and I broke out in hives all over my face.
The food is AMAZING. The entertainment, the staff, the drinks, the pool/beach area. Sooo relaxing! Our room was beautiful and clean. Our ocean view was amazing to wake up to every morning.
A lot of seaweed on the beach, but that's didnt bother us.
Although some days had a lot of guests, resort never felt overcrowded. There was always a quiet spot on the beach to relax
