The restaurants were great. Large selection.
Too big, not enough trams running. If you have any children under 18, like older teenagers (16,17) you’re stuck in the “family” side. It’s not cool being on vacation and having to hear other people’s 0-6 year olds throwing temper tantrums and screaming. Also, if you’re on the “family” side you can’t enjoy the night life perks because the trams stop at 12, which means your walking a long distance after consuming alcohol in the dark just to get back to your room. We missed out on a lot of cool things being on the “family side”. I love Sandos, I’ve never had any problems with the other locations, this one just wasn’t my favorite. We didn’t get our “welcome” drink, it’s a Sandos tradition. We also would not be moved to another Sandos. I was willing to pay whatever the difference was just to have an enjoyable stay but was told it wasn’t an option. We didn’t like the buffet area, our table was given away to another group of people and our waitress never acknowledged or brought us our silverware when seated.
We’ve been before. And almost everything as excellent as before.
Family section has been moved as far from the beach areas as possible as they have increased the size of the adults only area and the royal Elite area is in the beach and brand new. Everyone can use the general and family pools but royal elite and adults areas are off limits. Mexican a la carte restaurant was disappointing this time round.
Most of staff very friendly Hotel takes care about seaweed Decent food Nice gardens
Family zone very busy The hotel rather should be marked as for adults only as many facilities are adults only Breakfast facilities should be clean
Food was decent. The beach area was good. For a wedding or party with a big group it can be fun.
The only name brand alcohol was Captain Morgan’s. Food was decent, but mostly salty, processed food. If you want to eat and drink non-stop, then this place offers plenty of that, but next time I’ll get a nicer hotel and buy my own drinks.
