Pros: The best Hotel ever! The stuff is so friendly, kind and attentive. The Villas are spacious and were cleaned twice a day. So beautiful and relaxing atmosphere in this Hotel. Really amazing. We enjoyed our honeymoon very. Whatever you need, the stuff will take care about it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful gardens, great rooms. All round perfect. Great beach area. Great service
Cons: Only criticism is that the food looks great but most of the times the fish, lobster and steaks were over cooked and some of the flavouring was just weird or not great
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The food could have been a little better.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: breakfast is ok , it would be better if more selections are available
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The place is beautiful, just beautiful. Gorgeous pool, nice villas, friendly and welcoming vibe. The gardens are gorgeous. I thoroughly recommend all-inclusive. Food is amazing.
Cons: Service speed could often be slow, and attentiveness of the waiting staff needs to be improved. The iron and ironing board we asked to be brought to our room was just awful. The bar ran out of certain drinks a number of times. Housekeeping didn't replenish bottled water some days. Small things all round, fixed by some extra training.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect! The hotel has its own private beach that is still untouched. Beautiful both in low and high tide. The staff are just amazing and take care of every single detail from the second you reach the hotel until you leave it, they make you feel at home and wouldn’t let you leave the hotel without being completely satisfied. If you need some relaxation time away from everything I would highly recommend it.
7.5 Good
Pros: An exceptional place to stay - beautiful pools, rooms and garden and generally, great attention to detail.
Cons: A few relatively very minor points in terms of maintenance - one or two worn cushions, blown light-bulbs in room, scuffed paint on walls in bathroom / wet areas / closet - but generally great. Evening entertainment ranged from very good to OK
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful well designed resort. Excellent food. Relaxed atmosphere. Extremely helpful staff who genuinely try to meet your every need. If spending most of the time in the resort recommend taking the fully inclusive package for a wonderfully indulgent stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location at the beach, great staff, wonderful cuisine, excellent rooms

Pros: The staff are super friendly!!

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really helpful especially the house keeping manager Alex, f&b manager Dickson and the general manager. They were really welcoming.
Cons: The room that was first allotted for us was smelling of fungus and after complaining they did some cleaning after which it was little better and requested us to stay there for one day as all the room were fully booked. After which they changed our room the next day of our choice in the same block. They even upgraded us from half board to full board.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff always kind and available to accomodate any request. The restaurant is providing very good food with several choices everyday, as well every night there was a different evening theme (italian, african, etc) The excursions provided from the resort are very well organized and complete. The animation teams was providing quite several kind of activities everyday but always very kind, polite and never pushy. The services at the spa offers a lot if different massages, worth to try all of them. The spa stuff also was also able to accomodate accomodate any last time change :-) The jacuzzi bar in front of the beach add extra point to the resort, giving you the possibility to enjoy a jacuzzi and drinks with a stunning view in front of the ocean
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, clean beach, tide is managable and there are large freshwater pools available for swimming during low tide. Staff is nice, helpful and welcoming, though there still is a level up, as we learnt it at another resort. As the resort area is huge, you can even have a short walk after sunset. Souvenir shop, a well-equipped shop of drinks, snacks, tobacco, hygiene items is available onsite and a tour agent is helping you to arrange day trips. We were given an upgrade upon mentioning that we're on our honeymoon - having an own jacuzzi on the balcony, with an ocean view is something I'm really thankful for! The jacuzzi bar is also just cool. For half-board guests, drinks cost around 5-8 USD = EUR, cocktails are rather strong, ice is from a safe, bottled source. Other souvenir shops and restaurants available in the area.
Cons: The hotel beach is relatively crowded, you need to wake up early to have an umbrella. Payment against the room bill is not always working, so you need to carry cash eg. to the jacuzzi bar. Beach boys are not too pushy, still I got stopped/talked to by someone every time I went to swim. Bed was a bit narrow and the mosquito net not as clean as I expect it. Animations and parties are loud, even if you stay far from the pool area, you won't get much sleep before 11. Also, there's not too much variety about the animation programs. Our airport transfer was forgotten - can recommend official taxis instead, using the same 50 USD transfer rate per car. Cars would not drive up to the reception area, so we had to carry our luggage to the gate after checkout. Food was more to the European taste, with hints of the local cuisine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the resort is just perfect... is like an oasis away from everything. .. it's a beachfront resort and the sand is white and soft.. the water is blue and great for swimming when you will enter the gate you will find everything very clean and well organized, with nice trees and flowers the staff is very polite and helpful .. and they take care of all the details .. they can help you with organisation if you have some special event during your trip (birthday, honeymoon, marriage proposal) .. the hotel manager is always supervising everything all the time the main restaurant is offering buffet with a lot of options and every evening is a specific of a different area of the world .. I recommend you to choose half board or all inclusive options of booking they also have some entertainment and activities during the day ... and dancing at night
Cons: you should take with you hair conditioner and body lotion and any other small amenities you might need.. only shower gel and shampoo is provided
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was exceptional
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: beautiful resort, staff friendly and available, good food.
Cons: to improve the breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff service
Cons: Everything was very nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The personal.was very nice
7.5 Good
Pros: The property are very nice, calm, and the area was amazing. I like the swimming pool, they have theatre, gym. And the food are very nice. Suggested to take all inclusive package since you are in the middle of nowhere which no restaurant nearby, not even for an ATM
Cons: Beaches quite dirty with seaweed they didn’t manage to clean the dirt, the toilet is dry toilet. The shower room is too small and no cover so water spilled everywhere. I am English speaker guess, and the entertainer there most of them spoke Italian and French. They still trying to speak in English but some show am lost in translation since they speak Italian/French.
7.9 Good
Pros: The selection for the buffet was great and enough options available. It is situated right on the beach. the view from our room was beautiful. Resort was not very noisy which was great for relaxation. The overall view and cleanliness was spectacular. The resort is truly beautiful and have enough entertainment. Spa treatments was very relaxing and the local girls have been incredibly well trained.
Cons: The room smelt very damp and mouldy when we arrived and did not go away until the air con was switched on, the smell was still vaguely in the air after. The options for alcoholic drinks on all inclusive option are very limited and not of good quality. If you want a decent cocktail you have to pay for it even though you pay quite a lot for the all inclusive option.

7.5 Good
Pros: 2nd time in this hotel. All in all, our 1 night in the villa was superb. Amazing beach. Good food. Warm personnel.
Cons: We booked for 2 nights via booking.com but on arrival the room was not available. It forced us to get a room of a budget higher than we were had planned for. The following day we had to check out as there was no room available despite making reservations via booking.com. The hustle of getting free cancellation was annoying and wasted our time. The staff was very helpful in facilitating the cancellation so as to avoid paying the cancellation fee.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was excellent,
Cons: Aircon sub standard and noisy, evening entertainment non existing - been there before and there was entertainment every night, food became bland after the second day but outside evening outstanding

Pros: Administration was very helpfull, assist us in getting all the tours & all the services we asked for
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this property is fabulous, the location, the view, the staff, the food taste, the dogs, and the stay. It's just amazing. The moment we reached it felt like we are in paradise. Staff is super friendly and helpful and service is excellent. You ask for something and the next minute it's done. The beach bungalows are big, amazing and offers fabulous view. It was like home away from home. Gray, Daniel, and the girls staff are just wow. The two dogs taxi and disco are pure love, we miss them. Felt like never leaving this place but had to. One of the bestest experience and stay. Hospitality is superb. The pics doesn't do justice because it's even more beautiful than the pics in real.
Cons: The food menu is limited, there's scope for variety. Tea maker in room would make it more amazing.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was very good, and we had a very enjoyable stay. Signage to the property could be better. Food was very good and staff very helpful.
Cons: No tea or coffee facility in the room. More could be done to explain activities and things to do in the area, we had to sort these ourselves.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and romantic place, with private beach, definitely recommended! Quiet place, basically for those who want to relax. Moving is not easy, especially during high tide. We went for excursions so we wasn’t bored at all!
Cons: Basically we liked everything. Maybe would be great to have more choices in the menu, as it is difficult to move to eat somewhere else and became a bit boring to eat the same things.
7.9 Good
Pros: Spectacular view from our bed to the ocean. Special thanks to Gray for taking good care of us at the restaurant. The staff was very friendly. Great fruit selection available at breakfast.
Cons: Waiting times for lunch were extremely long. The advantage on living on the sea front with awesome views also came along with a lot of humidity in the rooms. You can also smell the very moist condition in the rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bungalows are very comfortable. You feel like you’re alone on the beach!
Cons: Food could have been better compared to other restaurants
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was beautiful and the rooms perfect. The staff went out of their ways to assist and make our stay amazing. A special thanks to the GM Christopher who was always available and assisted amazingly with everything.
Cons: It was all amazing !!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Seasons Lodge was amazing! The staff feels like family and they are super friendly and helpful. We had a stunning view from our cottage looking onto the beach at Pongwe. Pongwe is a secluded and private beach with beautiful white sands. The lodge offers amazing poolside relaxation with hammocks and loungers.
Cons: There is not a lot of other restaurants in Pongwe and you mainly eat at the Seasons Lodge restaurant, but their food is really nice! You need to get a taxi to visit nearby villages or towns if you would like to go shopping or to another restaurant.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Professional management and beautiful location
Cons: Staff are friendly and helpful. The greetings done to the customers can be less « single voiced » which might sound like unnatural. Bathrooms inside the rooms can be furnished nicer given that the rooms are very well designed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Each bungalow has a beaufitul Ocean view, you wake up with the sun shining and fall asleep with the sound of the waves The Pool area is cool The room is big The food is good

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location, restful stay, lovely tranquil pool, good food at very good value for money.
Cons: Lack of shower gel in room.
7.9 Good
Pros: The lobby was very very nice, a kind of a big terasa where the very good italian taste and talent in design of the owner, combined traditional elements with a modern approach. We just feel very good to stay and relax there, on the coaches. Warm lighting, good atmosphere. The staff well trained. We just love it. We enjoy very much the friendship we made with Masai people. And the two cultural evenings that was organized. One with masai culture, one with zanzibar culture (music and other); a great experience that put us in contact with their culture in a very nice manner. Great view when you stay and relax on the chair at swimming pool. Nice vegetation. Big palms that create this nice feeling of exotic vacation. The idea of putting hamac between palm trees was great! For relaxing.
Cons: The smell in the room.
6.5 Good
Pros: The serenity , view and quietness
Cons: Beddings were clean but old and they are just basic not befitting a hotel Mosquito nets are old need replacement Food was average not wide variety basic cooking style The hotel must explain the nature of Rooms like traditional...modern and the like the room are traditional but not what I expected they were basic

Cons: 5% credit card charge is a bit much when paying large amounts.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nice locals working there
Cons: Beach is horrible. Full with leafes , stones and only accessible 2 hours a day because of the tides. Also is tge water knee height maximum unless you want to go 300 feet in the water. 1 towel laundry is 10 dollars. Food very expensive. Taxi they charge double then outside. Horrible place.

Pros: great location, great service, highly recommended
5.8 Okay
Pros: Perfect environment and neatness. Food is also very good and tasty. Some stuff are very experienced and interact well they know what they are doing to make the client feel comfortable.
Cons: One rude lady I can’t recall her name she could. Be considerate that I had kids that’s why my husband requested for late check out so what she was doing was to force me out of the room as if I don’t really matter despite we had two rooms and we stayed there for 3 nights.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is beautiful, the facilities to a very high standard and the staff without fail were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful and very well equipped.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like at all.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good food, facilities and overall service. Very nice upgrade when we told them about our honeymoon.
Cons: The reception is too far from most of the rooms and therefore they should develop their transport service. They should also ask guests more often about drinks and refreshments. The toilets could also need some renovation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The layout of the resort is very well thought out, so although it was busy you could always find a quiet place. The location and beach is really lovely. When the tide is out, you can walk out, explore and see beautiful star fish and lots of sea urchins, as well as coral and crabs. All of our rooms had big balconies with elevated views of the resort and surrounding trees and gardens.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour front desk, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The food exceeded all expectations that we had before arriving. We expected quite a basic offering, but what we received was a fabulous buffet offering a salad bar, fresh grilled tuna, and DIY pasta station (made by the chef). Honestly, it’s some of the best buffet food we have enjoyed whilst vacationing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were equally plentiful. The all-inclusive alcohol offerings were superb-a choice of rose, red and white South African wine, approximately 7 cocktail choices, 2 types of beer and approximately 7 mocktail choices (perfect for my friend as she doesn’t drink alcohol). Cass the manager was extremely attentive, friendly and chatty and would go out of his way to come over and ask how we are. At pre-dinner drinks on our first night we chatted with him. He then went to the restaurant and reserved us one of the best tables for dinner. His customer service is top notch.
Cons: The property is literally in the middle of nowhere-so if you are looking to take a walk and explore the surrounding area, this is not for you. To get to the property, you have to drive past a guard in a booth that takes the car details and raises a pole blocking the road. You then drive up to a giant gate where once again a security guard takes the car/driver details and then unlocks the gate and allows you in. With this measure (as two female travellers) I felt very safe at this resort. The fact that we were in the middle of nowhere didn’t concern us as we had travelled for a relaxing beach stay, and the property services offered meant that we didn’t have to look elsewhere.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the best hotels that we visit. Stuff is very friendly and nice. The food is vert fresh and delicacies. The beach is very clean and very comfortable. .
Cons: When you want to change towel for the beach that is not possible. You can get only one towel per day. This is OK but it could be better.
7.5 Good
Pros: The buffet at the hotel has a wide selection of food and they had very pleasant and helpful waiters. The hotel is right on the beach which was great for morning sunbathing and swim in their pool that overlooks the ocean. I particularly enjoyed the fact that dawa cocktails feature in the all-inclusive beverage list. The hotel rooms were clean and well sized.
Cons: More hotel activities and better bands during the night entertainment
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everthing
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Most things were likeable but not necessarily exceptional. Therefore it met our expectations as a 4 star rated hotel.
Cons: No universal power plugs in rooms and no adaptors offered from hotel unless you wanted to buy from the gift shop at $10. Booked tennis court next door affiliated hotel (5star) but we couldn’t play on the day because the court was wet from the rain the night before. Considering the hotel were aware of the booking, 1) they could have notified us in advance of any cancellation, 2) sent a staff out to squeegee/sweep the water away.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great pool, the food was amazing, beatifull beach and staff were very friendly
Cons: The internet signal was very poor in room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quite environment, friendly staff especially Dass-always ready to assist and clean beach.

Pros: In general the welcome and over all stay was very nice. The beach clean and rooms very clean.
Cons: I booked a sea view room but it was on the second row. The bar closed at 11 PM and there is no where else to sit and relax if you want to stay longer up.

Pros: Next to the beach, great pool, entertainment was great
Cons: no wifi in the rooms.Food had no variety, staff were not keen to help
5.8 Okay
Cons: Staff were very unhelpful, regularly forgot orders and requests to follow up. The hotel uses a card system, staff would not answer questions or help if card was not presented. Had to wait over 3 hours to check in.

7.9 Good
Pros: I liked the good customer care of staff at the reception and waitresses
Cons: Cleaning took time to be done, we had to ask the cleaners several time to clean our rooms,
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The overall aura that was projected in the atmosphere.
Cons: Whilst it isn’t very important, I think the resort staff could half provided umbrellas to walk to and from the rooms to the main area while it was raining. The air conditions could have not been part of the power key connection and function while the guest is outside the room, in order to cool the room down in the meantime/ prior to guests’ arrival.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was wonderful Good staff Very beautiful view and garder Really I enjoyed all
6.3 Good
Pros: The property is well-maintained and beautiful. The access to the beach is easy and there are a lot of beach chairs/umbrellas for all guests on the property. The beach itself is long, but I'd recommend water shoes as it is a little rocky. The hotel provides a dedicated tour office (recommend going to Stone Town) which made it easy to coordinate travel to other areas in Zanzibar. The staff was also very friendly. I also scheduled an appointment with the spa and had an amazing massage. The food options were great and the type of menu changed nightly (for dinner) so you got a taste around the world.
Cons: The use of a "card" to keep track of all purchases (depending on your boarding preferences) was a little cumbersome. It would be nice to have an option to swipe at the end of the meal or keep a running "tab" open throughout your stay. The Wi-Fi also only works in the common areas (think reception, main restaurant, pool, beach) but not in the rooms (not an problem for me) but I had to get a new password to connect daily which was an annoyance. Upon arrival, my air conditioner wasn't working (it was resolved the next day) but the staff who came that night left without a clear resolution and said it was working. Also, the rooms were well maintained and very clean, but felt a little outdated/old. Also, airport transfers are very expensive. Since it was my first time in Zanzibar, I wanted the most safe/reliable option, but I would recommend looking up a taxi or getting one when arriving.

Cons: Wi fi connection very poor electricity constantly drops down Food has bad quality. Several guests got sick. I advised them at the restaurant because the milk was not in good conditions and they kept it there for 2 days more
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely and well cleaned. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities are great. Security on the beach keeps all the beach boys away. The food was mostly good with a good variety. Breakfast and lunch was great and the themed evenings offered lovely food.
Cons: The additional restaurants which you needed to book on the resort were more of a token gesture and didn’t add an extra experience to the stay. The food they offered was poor and not far different from the main buffet.

When you stay at Mvuvi Boutique Resort in Kiwengwa, you'll be by the ocean, a 1-minute drive from Kiwengwa Beach and 9 minutes from Mapenzi Beach. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Mvuvi is a very nice boutique hotel. The walkway to the rooms are sand and this zen-type environment, continues all throughout the facility. Upon check-in we were greeted with glasses of papaya (Or was it mango?) juice and showed directly to our room. Even though we were late due to a day of sightseeing, we still were able to grab a couple of drinks and sit out under the patio which allowed for us to catch some of the cool and relaxing, ocean breezes. Our room had been cooled, was clean, and was filled with rustic/beach decor which fit the environment. The towels were huge and there were nice toiletries for use, if we had happened to forget the basics. The beds were firm and felt like they were memory foamed, with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was clean and the shower simple, with a decent flow and hot water. The staff was very cordial and professional, with Grace the manager leading the way. Breakfast was simple but nice, with eggs that could be ordered to style. Our only gripe was the assignment of tables by room number instead of first come-first served, which gave off a feeling of higher payer getting the better view. However, Grace assured us that this was not the case and we left it at that. The beach is lengthy and very nice for a long and relaxing walk. Beautiful people of the region will also be along to offer gifts or massages, but they are polite and not pushy. Overall, we had a pleasant time and would definitely stay again.
Cons: A per head tax of nine (9) U.S. dollars, was a little surprising. This "city tax" should be a flat rate.
7.9 Good
Pros: 1) very friendly staff 2) relaxing set up and beautiful white sandy beach 3) they accept credit cards and managed to book me on tours where they charge my card for it.
Cons: Inconsistent level of satisfaction PROS 1) very friendly staff 2) relaxing set up and beautiful white sandy beach 3) they accept credit cards and managed to book me on tours where they charge my card for it. CONS 1) location is more suitable for honeymooners and those seeking being away from island activities 2) inconsistent food quality, the same dish might be tasty then the next day could be horrible. 3) terrible WiFi, weak mobile signal too. But that’s pretty much almost everywhere on the island. 4) I was charged for late check-out despite being Genius 2 on booking.com

Pros: The resort manager Alessando is the friendliest human I have ever met. He made us feel as if we were his favourite clients (I'm sure he does that to everyone). The staff, though not well versed in English tried their best to make us feel comfortable. Grace was amazing. The view from the restaurant is to die for and our room was always immaculate. I would definitely stay here again!

Pros: The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were soo friendly and helpful. Meeting all of our requests with a smile. The hotel manager, Allesandro was so warm and welcoming, making the effort to not only know all the guests by name, but also interact with them. They arranged a special dinner for us once they found out it was our honeymoon, at no extra cost.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was absolutely great and they made a good impression. They were always friendly and polite. Roger and Joy were both great and made our stay an unforgettable one.
Cons: The entertainment was mostly conducted in Italian and seemed to only cater for the Italian visitors, although there were Russian, Ukrainian and us South African visitors.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and facilities, atmosphere, pool, buffet and safari deals Walking under those long flower tunels is amazing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the clean un-clutttered room. The bathroom was un-cluttered and simple, yet very clean and had everything we needed. A super stunning swimming pool and fabulous entertainment which was part of our stay! It was absolutely great!Afternoon tea/ coffee and cake was most welcome.
Cons: The only improvement point would be to place tea and coffee making faciliites into the bed-rooms. Other than that, there are no improvement points that we could think of. Everything was great and we loved our stay!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The beach is stunning. The location is extremely quiet - at times we had the beach to ourselves. The room was attractive and very clean with fantastic views of the sea. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: There were no local restaurants within walking distance -only big hotels with expensive mainly European menus. Having not read the small print we were surprised by an extra €9 per night per person tax that was added to our bill. This was not the case in any other hotels we stayed in Zanzibar. There was also a 5 or 6% charge for paying by card which seemed a bit steep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really great and although we arrived earlier than the check-in time they went out of their ways to make us feel welcome and not to wait to long. The beach is really peaceful and the hotel also exhibits that chill vibe. Really enjoyed our stay and if you want a really calm place to stay in Zanzibar, this is it!
7.5 Good
Pros: The location of the property at the beach was an ideal setting and the staff was very friendly.
Cons: The town where the property was located was very quiet and the payment at the property was a bit complicated, as they charge 10% for payment by credit card and the tourist tax is separate.
7.1 Good
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff Very clean, big swimming pool Food good (but not a lot of variation) Breakfast wonderful Clean grounds, quiet, beautiful beach
Cons: Rooms were a bit hot with just 1 fan, bed/pillows not very comfortable but that was alright. Bathroom door didnt lock from the inside or close properly so no privacy...
7.9 Good
Pros: Overall a very pleasant stay, very quiet, staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be going back
Cons: Beach was a bit disappointing at low tide you couldn't swim
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere was nice. If felt like being on Gilligan's Island (70's TV Show). Yousseff and staff very friendly and helpful. Property was constantly being maintained and very clean. Compared to other areas up and down the beach. The food was TOP NOTCH! I can't say enough bout it. This is not meant to be a huge resort. It's small, quiet and intimate, that's why we chose it.
Cons: Not the fault of Santa Maria: Although I knew this before hand, the tide was out most of the day when I would have like to see and be by the ocean. From 10am till about 5pm. When I say out, it was Waaaaaaaaaay out, like a mile, not just a couple hundred feet. We had to waljk to another area to see it during the day and snorkel. It was like this all up and down the coast. So any place else would be the same. The power would go out from time to time and it's difficult to shower when the water pump needs power ;-) Again, not property's fault, and I will still go there in the future.
10.0 Excellent

6.3 Good
Cons: Frequent shortages in electricity. And the generators don't run the AC. Quality of food not very good, and lack of choice. You cannot swim in the ocean because of the tide. The beverages and snacks are very poor, paying all inclusive is a waste of money. They provide transportation to another beach, which is similar to the one where the hotel is located, but they use a truck for that! The internet WiFi signal is very bad and poor.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The Masai dancing was interesting
Cons: almost everything is terrible.... poorly furnished and basic rooms … they are still building the hotel... very unclean breakfast area and even worse choice of breakfast if you can get through the queues .. staff going through the motions and not really very interested. Beach very poor and huge amount of seaweed. Mostly geared up for full board tours it seems .. stayed two nights and I really pity the people who have to stay longer
7.9 Good
Pros: Restaurant service very good
Cons: All was good but there lacks shops or supermarket nearby
5.4 Okay
Pros: The food at the a la carte restaurant was great until the last night when the chef made some horrible chicken and called it chicken curry. I know for sure it was not the same chef because what he made was a joke. I was so angry and then the guy who was the manager tells me that chefs are different! And made me feel I was crazy
Cons: The a la carte mananger on the third night, his name is Dickson. Please learn better ways to resolve issues. Please stop charging customers for towels, that is unreasonable. It is a beach resort so people will definitely use towels. The 5% surcharge on use of credit cards, my dears thst is just too much. Find a way to include it in your rate

5.0 Okay
Pros: - location - pool - beach - Tanzanian Staff (so nice) - view
Cons: - A/C didn’t work - Italian staff doesn’t speak English only welcoming to Italian guests. - Italian food - No mosquito net in the bunk beds - WiFi was bad didn’t work in any location other than reception. - toilet cover falls on your back when sitting on toilet. Overall wouldn’t recommend if your not Italian
5.0 Okay
Pros: The local staff was nice. The breakfast was good.
Cons: The hotel has a electrical problem which means that the AC only works after 11 pm and the owner wont pay to fix the problem.. The owner and managers (his son) didn't speak english and werent very helpfull. If you are Italian they might be more helpfull. The buffet dinner was most nights boring and were not as delicious as the food you can eat at other places on Zanzibar.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice swimming pool.
Cons: The quite environment too boring,no simple WIFI in the cortages, missing creative ventures in the facility to keep us busy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: breakfast and dinner are tasty,Eddy is perfect in every way.Room is clean and big.
Cons: wifi is slow and bad.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Wellcome does not exist here at all. Only lady on reception was nice to us. Sorry for my money, and days I have spend here.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Pleasure staff, good service and clean hotel area. Good price for good quality.
Cons: Varied Breakfast
4.2 Okay
Pros: Quiet place. Personal sometimes friendly. The environnement. The white sand beach close to the hotel.
Cons: We were having a family room. The rooms are really expensive for what they are. Bathroom too small and old. Really old dirty smelling towels and bed spread. The Mosquito nets are as old as the hotel and they should be changed. A/C was not working fine so the fan does. The Owners family does not speak English and did not make any effort to communicate with us even when problem happened with the food. They use to communicate only with Italian customers. Regarding the food, don't miss the opening time of the buffet... if you arrive 30 min after, you may not have food. Poor quality of desserts (no yogurts or other dairy products for a complete week for our children) Their excursions are more expensive than the local tours around. Wifi does not work and only available at tbe reception.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Beach is nice during high tide. African kitchen staff, bartender, waiters, waitress, hired transport drivers are all very welcoming Free breakfast and dinner was included in our reservation. Menu food was satisfying Shower satisfying
Cons: Majority Italian food buffet only Italian speaking hotel .. TV never worked after being told it would be turned on..dont recall anyone coming back to check Sheets Hot sticky, unclean feeling , and uncomfortable feeling Only a sheet to cover up with Room hot and stuffy , theres a large balcony door but mosquitoes will eat you if you leave it open too much..a/c just ok.. Rooms can use an upgrade.. Nothing really around but beach vendors down the beach a bar/restuarant on the water ...and a few other livelier private hotels with music after the bridge restaurant. Noon is when most people start coming out, sun starts coming tide starts coming.. You cant eat in your room they say.. so we ate in the balcony when we didnt feel like being around everyone Ran out of seafood (Free Italian food only) so u end up ordering from the menu anyway .. Security Guard and someone from the owners family allowed us to come and rest inside when we showed a few hours before check in ( No 24hr lobby ) To our surprise we almost got charged for it..vs being told this from the beginning.. No real welcoming feeling from the owner and his family who seem to stay on the property ..even tho there is a language barrier..even a simple smile will do.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is nice and cosy, with a beautiful beach, a small swimming pool and two restaurants one of which just on the beach. The staff is friendly and try to accommodate you. The quality of food is great both buffet either a la cart, the selection of beverage is also remarkable. All the rooms are provided with mosquito net and AC, which is important in Zanzibar.
Cons: I experienced some problem with spiders inside the room at ground floor, but unfortunately it is the season. The fees for the overstaying is the same if half day or few hours.
7.5 Good
Pros: Everything
