Everything was really close.
Over priced and outdated
Theme Park Friendly
The location and convenience to the theme parks.
Later check in time was a bit inconvenient. However, the meet and greet with the characters was a treat for the young children.
Overpriced
The theme of the park was great. Johnny Rockets had a pleasant waitstaff and great food.
The parking was not enough to handle the amount of people staying there and there was so much chlorine in the water that our eye were burning. Way too hot in the park and in the whole lodge. Prices for the rooms were excessive including the fees they charge . My daughter did have a great time but the prices wil keep us from not returning. Park should be bigger , charging $40 per extra guest when the day passes for the park are only $29.99.
the beds and the pillows
the water was freezing and on Saturday morning the lazy river was down for almost 2 hours making the wait for the tube rides insane..
The staff was exceptional ... everyone was pleasant and helpful. The kids (ages 9 and 6) loved the indoor water park. In fact, we never made it to the outdoor park or to the amusement rides, as the kids just wanted to keep going to the indoor water park. Kids also loved the Adventure Quest game ... although it was very expensive and the instructions for the game were not very clear.
Prior to our arrival, the room was sprayed down with a very strong "freshner" which smelled like very perfume soap. After a day, the perfume smell wore off and it became evident why the freshner was applied to the room ... there was a very strong musty smell ... maybe due to mold. What is certain is that neither smell was pleasant and we had to buy a candle to cover up the smell. Also, had to open up the sleeper sofa for the kiddies and there were food crumbs and trash both under the sofa and in the sofa sheets. Yuck! Not a very clean room
Our cleaning lady was very sweet and couldn't help us enough. The kids had a really good time and overall we considered it a really good weekend but the good times was mostly because of our company They were very helpful to get us rooms by our friends.
it was very expensive. I was bothered that when the wrist band you needed to get into the water park caught and broke they wanted $3 to replace it. The water park is very loud.
As a parent, I was at ease with my 4 children in the waterpark with the adequate number of lifeguards on duty doing constant checks at their posts in the waterpark
No complaints
quiet room family place
lamp was brpken and had todisconnect bulb toshut it off
The Waterpark
we actually liked that we could get free parking and walk to the grest escape for fright fest
story time was a joke.....the character was frightening the children and antagonizing them.....jhonny rockets service was rude and we did not even get a table within the first 40 minutes there.......the water park had only two attractions open at a time due to short staffing
I liked the characters singing and dancing in the lobby for the children at about 4 p.m.
