Pros: The staff were all very friendly and nice to talk to. The bakes were really good! Overall I had a great stay here
Cons: It'd be good if the windows has mosquito nets, or there was a mosquito net over the bed. I only saw a couple of mosquitoes in the room, but this would have been a nice addition to keep them out entirely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. The welcome drink is a nice touch, and the included breakfast buffet was very good and exceeded my expectations.
6.8 Good
Pros: Great location. Convenient Breakfast buffet.
Cons: Improve the quality and selection of TV Channels. Price a bit on the higher end for the product but I guess you’re paying for the location.

Pros: Love the location! It’s close to all the bars and to some restaurants. Very close to Rodney Bay beach which is beautiful! Good amenities. The rooms are very spacious especially for that great price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: rooms, location, staff
Cons: Everything that I wanted was there, so nothing I didnt like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great. Walking distance to the beach and to restaurants and bars in the area. Access to tours around the island.
Cons: The rooms are non smoking but somebody smoked in my room. It smells of stale cigarettes. That is not the fault of the hotel though.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We were scuba diving on this trip and couldn't have asked for a better room location. The dive boat was right outside our deck door. The room far exceeded expectations, very large with a nice kitchenette, sitting area and jacuzzi tub.
Cons: We had asked for airport pick up but no one showed, we took the local taxi which worked out just fine. We asked for two wake-up calls and didn't get either but we always have a travel alarm with us anyway. I would just confirm a day ahead re the airport pick up.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Nice rooms. Lovely staff.
Cons: The bathroom/bathtub arrangement in the waterside rooms is just plain weird.
7.9 Good
Pros: Everything.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Ambience and pleasant courteous staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location nice beach and very friendly staff Private pool attached with each villa is good
Cons: Lots of mosquito, but the villa doesn’t fully sealed so it is annoying. Also the WiFi is really really bad, cannot connect to it most of the time
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a fantastic place to stay. Sun see and warm. Will be going back very soon
Cons: All of it. Nothing wrong
6.0 Good
Pros: Room was nice
Cons: Too corporate do not appreciate trying to be sold a time share whilst on a resort
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The layout of the hotel is superb, sprawling up the hillside and provides the most amazing views. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and it had a great atmosphere. The best holiday location to date.
Cons: A couple of things were broken and seemed to take a long time to be fixed (water in the beach bathroom sinks, sun tan machine)
4.0 Okay
Pros: Rooms are very clean.
Cons: We were assured that an ambassador would reach out to us at the beginning of our stay however, we never heard from anyone at all through our stay. Only one choice for a mediocre breakfast. Service is very slow. Drinks were served after we were almost done with meals (including water).
7.1 Good
Pros: Wonderful breakfast buffet.
Cons: We didn't like the beach. Full of big stones in the water. You have to wear shoes and be careful. If you look for nice white sandy beach this is the wrong place. Our room could use a facelift. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel. We give it a very good 3++
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazingly friendly. Breakfast was great. Lunch at Ember’s was awesome. New Year’s Eve party was really good and family oriented. Great fireworks.
Cons: Dinner dinning was average. But it’s tough with all inclusive. Drinks at Jammers were incredibly weak.
St. James's Club Morgan Bay - Gros Islet - Pool

8.5 Excellent (849 reviews)
C$ 578+
Overview Reviews
Located in Gros Islet, this beachfront property is in a regional park, 3.1 mi (4.9 km) from Castries Central Market, and within 6 mi (10 km) of Reduit Beach and Saint Lucia National Archives. St. Lucia Town Hall and Rodney Bay Marina are also within 6 mi (10 km).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved that everything was was in the resort. The food was fantastic. The staff was super nice. They went out of their way to make you comfortable.
Cons: I didn't like that you had to wait on a cart to pick you up. They didn't have enough drivers to pick people up. We had to wait almost an hour for a cart to pick us up. We didn't have TV for a day and a half. This was our only complaint.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Desserts were plentiful but not as tasty as I expected
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are super friendly and take great care of you while on the resort. They are always available to help and serve. Lots of eating options. Lots of activities to get involved in everyday and the ambience is truly relaxing and beautiful. Taxis are accessible through the resort and they are timely and provide great service if you need to venture out.
Cons: The food was disappointing but it's not awful. Just not magnificent. At first the lack of free WiFi can be an inconvenience but I managed without it. I wish there were more cultural tidbits about st Lucia integrated in the entertainment (other than the beach party).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, nice resort, private beach. Good resort for family holiday.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at St James Club Morgan Bay are exceptional! They make your stay worthwhile!! The accommodations (200 series) are a bit dated and could also use some repair but are certainly clean and functional.
Cons: Reservation system for dinners favours only new arrivals and penalizes anyone staying longer than one week by not allowing reservations or only allowing late night reservations (beyond 9:00 pm). Also should not have to line up to make reservations. This should be available by phone. Free Wifi should be available everywhere on the facility. This is no longer the 1990’s!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location: hotel is located in a large beach bay which has a beautiful sunset view - was expecting a more remote location / not to be near a main road but once on site you don't really notice. Excellent site & facilities: 4 different swimming pool areas including adults only and family (the family pool has a pool side restaurants which is great for the kids, 2 evening restaurants, 1 buffet restaurant, tennis courts with daily lessons, large gym with trainers, yoga area, kids clubs, cafe with cakes, library and beach bbq + and included in the Great water sport activities included in package: paddle boards, peddle boats, sail boats, banana boats. Lots of scheduled activities so always something to do. The bar/bars are always open with friendly staff ready to make you a drink or bring you a drink. The breakfast buffet is great and bbq lunch is very tasty, the dinning restaurants opens are lovely - but you need to book in advance. Everyone staying in the hotel is on the inclusive package which in turn creates a relaxed open atmosphere.
Cons: With up to 340 guests at a time this is can be busy resort so if going best be prepared in be apart of the group, and sometimes wait/queue. (This is not a remote romantic getaway hotel ) Due to some inconsistencies in the hotel and service I would say this resort is a good 3* resort and not a 4* hotel. (But we had a lovely family holiday and time in the resort) We booked the premium family room but upon seeing the room we were not happy and asked for an upgrade. The 'premium family room' we had seemed quite old, shabby, basic, and small - two double beds in the same room with a very small balcony. We upgrade to a modern room with a large king size bed, large balcony and a separate living space/TV and sofa - instead of using the fold down sofa we let our 2 year sleep in our bed which was fine but for bigger families not sure on the options. We arrived on a Friday evening being very tired from a long flight and cab journey (the journey from the airport is 90 minutes), upon arrival the hotel atmosphere seemed a little disorganised and a hectic - the welcome/reception staff didn't seems ready for the influx of guests (which surely they should know is arriving) and in general the front desk always seemed busy or had a queue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: we had a great time! would recommend it to anyone, but hire a car, the trips are expensive. food it great, spoilt for choice. staff couldnt do enough. beach, pools lovely. water is not clear for snorkelling, went to Marigot Bay.
Cons: wifi didnt work for first few days, fortunately I am not addicted but I was worried about letting my sis know I was ok. it doesnt work in rooms either. 2 big hills up to room! we didnt mind as we ate so much we walked it off, but some might!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service, staff and cleanliness
Cons: They did not include all churches. Eg the SDA ( Seventh Day Advetist)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Variety of food and ease of access to tours. Also, the idea of giving guests orientations to help them navigate their vacation, very helpful.
Cons: I wish they would've done a little something extra for our honeymoon like a free massage or an upgraded room. They did recognize us at dinners with candles on our tables though and decorations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My family and I loved this resort. It was exceptionally clean, and the grounds were perfectly manicured with beautiful flowers everywhere. The resort staff was wonderful especially the activities and water sports staff. Rooms exceeded our expectations.
Cons: Most pools closed at 6 pm, with one adult pool staying open until 8 pm.
6.0 Good
Pros: View, water sports, water sports staff was excellent! Bartender at Jakarta’s was fantastic!
Cons: Food was average. Christmas Day was awful. The dinner was planned in a manner to make everyone unhappy. Understaffed for the volume of people. No one had the right food, hot food and many of us didn’t get the sheet for reservations at check in so we didn’t have reservations (3 other rooms checking i. December 18 didn’t get the reservation information and the guest orientation said it was the same as the 18th beach party just grander). We didn’t get food on Christmas because they couldn’t seat us until 8:30. We gave up trying to get seated at 9:10 when everyone coming out was angry. We also had our reservation list for a night. For a location with internet, there is no reason for paper reservations which are still lost. The reservation person told us only three reservations at a time and not the same restaurant for 4 days. I listened to two couples in front of me make reservations for 5 and 6 nights. Many bar tenders didn’t know ingredients to basic drinks (Manhattan, screwdriver). We had a tour leaving at 7:30 and the only food option was the coffee place which was understaffed at 7:00 and very little savory choices. Don’t advertise “Bamboo” asAsian when there is nothing Asian I. The menu. Many fitness classes were either late or never had an instructor show up. An all-inclusive should NOT have a paid restaurant and ABSOLUTELY NOT have a restaurant with certain meals costing more. That is the reason people select an all-inclusive. The lack of airport transportation was disappointing for the size and cost of the resort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere was friendly, helpful and courteous. The experience was everything you would ask for. The activities planned nightly was diverse and great. I would gladly book another vacation here.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and express check-in. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location, staff from arriving were very polite and welcoming. The room was very clean and nice touches with flowers. Great view of the bay. Tv and air conditioning were well received.
Cons: Food and drink a little expensive but the Irish breakfast hit the spot.
8.5 Excellent
Cons: Spruce the place up a little and drop the price a bit and it will be perfect.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Our two bedroom villa had wonderful views of Marigot Bay. We loved the plunge pool! The accommodations were private, quiet, and appliances up-to-date. Converters were available at reception.
Cons: The in room coffee was subpar. No other issues were identified.
6.0 Good
Pros: the view from the room is beautiful and the location itself is stunning. The the room itself ok if a little dated
Cons: with 1 or 2 exceptions the staff are extremely unhelpful, unenthusiastic and generally dont seem like they want to be there.
7.0 Good
Pros: 5 star staff, all very efficient and kind. All food freshly cooked and served hot. Wonderful breakfasts with a great choice. Great cocktails, and a unique location.
Cons: The room was a bit old and tired, the balcony door did not open or close easily, sink plugs did not work and generally the room was a bit gloomy.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The beach - not up to standard - lots of boats in and out so water not ideal for bathing!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful location adjacent to Marigot Bay's sand spit beach with the studios set amidst palm trees on the hillside above the bay. Hugely novel to only be able to reach the hotel via the short water taxi ride from across the bay and the feeling of being "cut off" that little bit added to the relaxed feel. Just superb.
Cons: The restaurant, like most on St Lucia, was pretty expensive with breakfast at the hotel particularly exorbitant. We didn't partake ! Good daily cocktail deal though with 2 for 10 US dollars.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was spectacular. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Water House villa at the end of the bay. The villa had a wraparound deck with fabulous water views. The grounds are really nicely designed and planted. Food was good and drinks were decent. There was 2 for 1 drinks at happy hour from 5 pm til closing (around 2 am). The bar was not noisy but still had a fun atmosphere. I liked the fact that the bar had a charging station for dummies like me who forgot ti pack their travel adaptors. The staff were friendly and service was top notch.
Cons: Although the property is beautiful, it is aging and the rooms could use a refresh, particularly the bathrooms. The tub was rust stained, the grout between the tiles was dirty and the tap to switch from tub to showerhead didn't work. Wifi was down for the entire 2 days I spent there. The front desk doesnt open until 8 am and breakfast isn't available until 830. My advice is to stay up late, eat late and sleep in. You're in St. Lucia anyway. If you need to check out early, make sure you inform the front desk the night before so thwy can arrange for someone to check you out early.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was friendly and the view from our room was amazing!
Cons: Beautiful view but there is no where to get good food near by, and Marigot bay is a $70 taxi ride into town. We were actually charged $150 from the airport. The room is advertised with a couch, there wasn't a couch. I chose to add breakfast to the coat of my stay @ $56 a day. The breakfast consist of a buffet of food with three items, dry eggs, disgusting sausage and uncovered fruit that was surrounded by flies. We were also very disappointed with the American food that was offered. It had no flavor and was over priced.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort and location were excellent. Easy access to Rodney Village and lots of choice of restaurants.
Cons: Unfortunately our stay coincided with COVID19 so a lot of the facilities, restaurants and activities were curtailed and we ended up flying back a day earlier than planned.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a buffet style with a dedicated chef for eggs. The buffet was set up in a separate room which was hygienic. The dining tables were in a covered area with sea views. Great selection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, small cuts, bacon, sausages, fish, grains and sweets. Our room was well located near the beach in beautiful gardens. Snorkelling off the beach next to the marina wall and at the opposite end of the beach was surprisingly good. Happy hour proved to be fun. Met some interesting people at the resort. Generally very relaxing. Staff were all helpful. We did a guided walk to a historic point which was rocky. We did a day trip to nearby Pigeon Island which was lovely.
Cons: The bar prices, outside happy hour were a bit high. Shower took a couple of minutes to produce warm water. WIFI was a bit slow in the room. Otherwise all good.
7.9 Good
Pros: It’s location
Cons: It felt rather soulless. There wasn’t much going on in the hotel in the evening.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Horrible, lazy staff, extremely poor service. Rooms were dated and toilets did not flush. There is zero top shelf liquor for $1,500.00 for 7 days per person for all inclusive is a terrible deal. Don't waste your hard earned money here. They ran out of Chardonnay, Grey Goose and one of two restaurants were closed 3 days in a row for a private party. What we had for lunch buffet was identical to dinner. I'll check back but for now, this place sucks. Hot tub doesn't work and they had 18 lounges for 40 people so many sat on the ground. Over sold cruise ship transfer to our place so no room on the beach or pool. Again, this place sucks.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, very comfortable, spacious and well decorated rooms!! We booked a room with a balcony and seaview and it was totally worth it! Nice white sand beach with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Pool is also really nice and clean. Good restaurants but a little expansive for what you get (we were not all inclusive). Staff was really nice to us and our children. Would definitely recommand!
Cons: Restaurants in the hotel are really expansive.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, happy hour, pool, beach. Size of room and facilities. Reception staff extremely helpful.
Cons: Not much going on in the evenings. Food good overall but quite basic apart from the BBQ nights
7.0 Good
Pros: The rum punch on arrival. The staff were helpful and polite
Cons: The fact that I had to get the bar staff attention each time the spa/jacuzzi bubbles stopped

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are absolutely amazing. They became my family only after one week of vacation.
Cons: Everything was beyond perfect. Keep delivering an exceptional service!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Easy access to stores , excellent customer service, especially my regards to Bernella! Front desk agent. Attended all my needs.
Cons: Please add more trash bins to the room. Only had one little one in bathroom. Also add more water in rooms also.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Elijah from Elite Auto Services was great. He made the difference between a bad stay and a passable one. Elijah took us out to find food at that hour and was very helpful with tours of the island and a fishing expedition.
Cons: On our arrival at 9:50 pm we were told by the receptionist that the kitchen would be closed at 10pm so we could not get a meal, not even a burger. Very poor service. The breakfast buffet was disappointing as was the lunch at Julia's which included burnt food. Perhaps more local items could be included for breakfast. A number of the dishes, though on the menu, was unavailable for lunch. Disappointing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm and efficient check-in ( Bernadella?) Exceedingly gracious hostess. Super room with a great view- very clean, well designed and comfortable. Excellent breakfast-
Cons: Very noisy group of American guests around the pool. With their own bottles of rum.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, lovely facilities and nice staff. Will stay again.
Cons: Piped reggae music too loud - why do we need it? Loud party on Friday night meant room vibrated, went on until midnight, we were below on 5th floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was exceptional! Food was amazing!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely pool area. Excellent breakfast
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing, it was an expensive hotel but the service and value for money was very poor. The hotel did book in 14 separate people which they did well but also messed up the check in and over charged the wrong card.
Cons: Firstly the hotel charged an account wrongly which left one member of the party out of pocket for over £200. After explaining what had happened three time the staff they still couldn’t help or see on the system where or why this had happened. No one ever apologised for this or could explain if it will be refunded. And if it was refunded it would take 10 working days to be processed into the account, leaving the person wrongly out of pocket for a mistake that the hotel made. This is something you wouldn’t expect from such a prestigious hotel. The room was clean but the tv didn’t work and there was only two coffee pods for four people. We also asked for more pillows, the member of staff gave us so much attitude as if we’d asked for the world and was blatantly complaining about us when they rang housekeeping.

Cons: The internet barely functioned most of the time in our room, we had friends with us theirs worked fine I had technicians over 3 times they kept promising repairs but never did they fix it, or come back to me without me chasing them.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Superb location probably increased activities and entertainment for teenagers would of helped over the new year
Cons: Lack of entertainment and poor quality food in buffet for the cost

Pros: Well laid out, good location & lots of space
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and wonderful staff. Rooms were very comfortable and spotless. Grounds were exquisite. Can’t wait to return!
Cons: Need better coffee! Coffee does not match the caliber of The Landings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous - cannot wait to go back. Great location, on rodney beach ... near to a lot of great restaurants.. Breakfast was lovely - very large spread and I liked that they changed it up a bit everyday with one or two different items, we spent 6 days and made sure to show for breakfast everymorning as we enjoyed it so much. The rooms are extremly comfortable and we had a wonderful view of the marina from our balcony. we got a room with a hot tub and we enjoyed it every morning and evening. The beach was no nice we never even went looking for another,,, we stayed on the resort every day and enjoyed their pool and beach. I loved that the place never felt crowded, we saw a lot of guests at breakfast, but the beach and pools always had many chairs available and the pool never had more than a few families around it at once. Great to travel with kids, spacaious accomodations, very cute playground on the compound that we took our daughter to in the evenings, well maintained property, lots of greenery for talking walks and pictures. the balconies are spacious and great views, we just enjoyed relaxing there and going in our hot tub during our daughters nap time. I have nothing but good things to say about The Landings, I cannot wait to return.

Pros: Great location everything on site you might need Very helpful and friendly staff

Pros: Outstanding onsite restaurants. Service and food were over the top.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views, close to Pigeon Island, restaurants were good. Low season so resort was nice and quiet.
Cons: Beware the pricey taxis.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and views were amazing. The accommodation is of very very high standard. We had great sea views from our villa, very nice private pool and a beautiful beach just few steps away. The hotel is set in stunning gardens. At the beach we had free access to water sports, including a small sailing catamaran (which was a great fun). The stuff were very friendly and the service is of very high standard.
Cons: The hotel is slightly isolated. The villages with restaurants and shops are not within walking distance. The use of a rental car or taxis is required. We had to eat mostly at the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good, although the buffet could have used a bit more of a variety. The quality of the food was very fresh and well prepared. The staff were all extremely helpful and very friendly. They wanted our experience to be a positive one.
Cons: There was no air conditioning on first floor at all and many many mosquitos (not the fault of the hotel, of course) but the open doors on the first floor brought in mosquitos as well as the beautiful sounds of the ocean. The hotel does provide insect repellent for your convenience. The second floor had air conditioning so we spent most of our time there. ;)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing resort! The views were gorgeous, the beach was perfect and the food was outstanding! The employees were top notch and very kind. The resorts was very unique compared to many places on the beach.
Cons: nothing!

Pros: Staff very friendly & helpful Great breakfast choice. Lunch & dinner was fair to good.
Cons: Bed very hard. Only thin blanket.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very pleasant hotel and it was a bonus being able to use the facilities of their other larger hotel on the beach
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff was very nice and helpful. Good transfer service to beach.. we always fitted in!
Cons: Since you have to queue for breakfast and wait to be served (which could take quite long) I would suggest to have water, tea and coffee 'do it your self' and enough cups. Glasses ran out quite quickly and we had to wait, when they came out were not enough and we shared some at the table to avoid more wait . Also while the queue was long, noticed that most of the tables were empty to accommodate the right number of guests, why don't you swiftly attach/detach few tables for a fast turn-around? Just few logistics changes could give a better customer experience.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Value for money, friendly good location
Cons: Maybe spray room with mosiquito spray
6.7 Good
Cons: AC and Hot water weren’t working properly
6.2 Good
Pros: 3 pools, including very shallow areas good for toddlers. Free breakfast was nice and the staff were very friendly.
Cons: Bed was rock hard. Faucet was broken in bathroom. A/C barely worked latter half of our stay. Token system for towels was very annoying. Beach shuttle should run every half hour not every hour. Food was pretty mediocre at the hotel. Never received promised “welcome gift.”
5.0 Okay
Pros: I would like to give special compliment to the cook who is also responsible for distributing customer with certain dishes in the buffet area. He opens the door for customers whose hands are occupied by plates which is really sweet. Moreover, I, as a foreigner from Taiwan, feel welcomed through chatting with him. Hope to meet him again next time.
Cons: The facility is in bad condition. I've mentioned in the previous review of the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely lovely hotel, amazing staff and well located for beach and amenities. Despite not right on the beach there is a shuttle to the beach resort that takes you to the beach. We travelled to celebrate my moms birthday and we were so spoiled at the Bay Garden Hotel that we ended up staying for another 3 days on our way back from island hopping. The staff in particular was amazingly professional, attentive, and welcoming...The treatment was so personalized. Very impressive indeed!
Cons: Everything was great!
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Simplicity, clean, snd nice firm bed to sleep!
Cons: Could hear some noise at times, but it was fine.

Pros: The food was excellent.
Cons: The taxi charges when going out to eat or doing excursions were exorbitant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was delightfully welcoming and friendly!
Cons: It would be lovely to have small library of books or magazines. Perhaps a chess set.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The view. The beach. The pool.
Cons: The road leading to the property is in a very poor state.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff extremely accomodating and friendly. Great layout of the room and facilities. Great scenery and views from the balcony.
Cons: The road to the hotel was rough. No plug for the blow dryer next to a mirror. No expeller fan in the toilet
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The beauty and the privacy of the resort is fabulous. All the employees were so efficient and always smiling , from check in to room service and in between. We stayed in cottage one so it’s a hike up all the stairs to the lobby but we had our own pool so we stayed in our private world until cocktail hour, dinner or a trip into town which is a short taxi ride. We definitely will return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding from start to finish! The websites photos and descriptions truly represent the stunning views and tranquil atmosphere. We had a rental car for exploring but spent many an hour just enjoying the resorts amenities and relaxing at our cottage and quiet beach just steps away. The food and service at the casual open air dining room and poolside tables were great; started the day with St. Lucian breakfast and a colorful rainbow and ended with Mahi Mahi and a beautiful sunset! CC's super friendly and engaging staff made us feel so at home. Thank you CC for a very special and memorable holiday!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was done beautifully - we were all inclusive and our room boasted a full fridge of wine, water and mixers and we had full bottles of rum, whisky, vodka, gin in the room too. Breakfast was lovely as no buffet - great choice of menu served to your liking at your table. Pool bar was excellent and staff exceptionally charming and musical. Lunch at the pool was full of variety and excellent fish options. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely as felt like open air and the menu choice was again excellent with daily specials. Gym was also good size and easy to have to yourself. Beach was idyllic. We were sorry we had to leave so soon.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The pool and location are good. You will be around many restaurants in Rodney Bay. The service at the resort's Chic restaurant is very good. But again, considering how much you will pay for your rooms here, you could find better options elsewhere in Rodney Bay.
Cons: We were not impressed with most of what the resort had to offer. Considering how much we paid for our room, the service was extremely poor. You could get better service from the regular low star Wyndham hotels in the US. Most of the staff at Mystique did not know about their amenities and services they provide. For example, it usually took 2 staff to tell us where the closest bathrooms were. We got conflicting information on complimentary services (e.g. complimentary dinner, breakfast). Luckily, they have one staff at the door, Kriston, who's a friendly guy who can tell you about some of the amenities as he walks you to your room. Additionally, the hotel did not have many things that we usually take for granted (e.g. shower caps, toilettries). The bed and pillows were uncomfortable too. It is apparent that this hotel is outdated and there hasn't been much upkeep. Overall, we noted an "I don't care" attitude in the service and hospitality, something we've been fortunate not to experience in our travels around the world.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast very good with a lot of choice Bay location beautiful Most staff very friendly
Cons: Nowhere near enough beds/shades on the beach for a hotel this size and what there was was mostly old and shabby, Lots of umbrellas/beds & space for cruise ship passengers?!!! Surely hotel guests' comfort comes first? Maintenance unreliable - our problems not all solved, No information packs and reception staff not very knowledgeable, although keen to please Hotel buildings very 'tired' Some staff were very surly and seemed unhappy Bathroom basins very impractical and floor flooded when the shower was used We understand that the hotel has been taken over and will be updated some time, but that should not mean that standards/convenience/comfort should be allowed to drop in the meantime. Very disappointing as the bay is beautiful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice situated facing the beach. Staff been very friendly especially Jennifer who looked after our room
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the staff, the property, the beach and the location. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
Cons: We had issues with our hot water that knock the rating down a notch.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: ROOM SIZE, BREAKFAST QUALITY, POOL AREA, POOL BEDS, ALL EXCELLENT
Cons: TAPS IN ROOM HAD PROBLEM GETTING COLD WATER
7.0 Good
Pros: An older hotel in a spectacular location, lovely beach and pool. Ditto for the manicured and flowering gardens. Very large rooms, more like suites, very well serviced, with a sitting area, separate sleeping area with huge bed and big bathroom, plus a balcony; extremely helpful staff. Wide selection of choices at the well presented breakfast buffet. Hassle-free change of room for one with a better view. Hotel is located in quiet street with several good restaurants opposite. The Indian and upmarket Caribbean ones were our favourites. Also walking distance to the town which has many shops, more restaurants and snack bars. We hired a car but could have done without it. Water sports available at both ends of the beach. If you take an all-inc package these are included but as the range is small, don't bother with that.
Cons: While hotel seems to be subject to regular minor maintenance, the tiling needs immediate repairs - many cracked tiles on the stairs and walkways. Some grotty ones in the shower. Ditto around some parts of the pool and the paths/tiling near the beach. The air conditioning units are housed on the walkways in boxes too small for these later models, so the doors are left wide open, unsightly; they also blast hot air as you walk by and a little noisy in the evenings. Spa is very outdated although the massages were quite good. Complicated accounting - items are billed in EC dollars, then reconverted to USD on the final billing. This is then re-reconverted back into EC dollars when charged to your credit card (!) First exchange was at 2.65, then second at 2.7. The usual rate is 2.6....... The staff is not authorised to charge at the accepted rate used throughout St Lucia and Antigua also for that matter (our second stop). The tour service. One woman was very knowledgeable and efficient. Her colleague however sent us miles to visit the rum distillery on a Saturday when it is always closed that day....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so willing to help....they are very friendly....Amazing.
Cons: There was nothing we did not like. The place is great.

Pros: Just convenience for short distance to marina
Cons: The facilities in rooms are in bad an/ or in not working conditions. We changed 2 times our room. We were staying for 2 nights. Last room was not good either..The 1st night we arrived- advised from the front desk to dine in the restaurant of hotel. The shift leader Fasua tried 3 times exaggerate our bill. No manager at side to clear this rip off trying. They are taking advantage of jet legged, and from cold climates tourists! Our other 2 parties (family) arrived night later. We didn't share our 1st night nightmare experience, cause we suggested to stay there. They were supposed to stay there 1 more night after our 7 day sailing trip. They didn'T. They contacted this hotel where they also didn't have any nice stay and were denied and were fully charged, without staying there.
5.0 Okay
Cons: That i was quoted in price with confirmation, however upon arrival i was charged more. Will not be returning
6.8 Good
Pros: lady at front desk was helpful and nice. booked us a shuttle to the airport. close to the marina
Cons: one of the staff barged into our friends room despite having a do not disturb sign on the door. When they asked him to leave he was very rude and told them to lock the door if they didnt want anyone coming in.
4.0 Okay
Pros: I loved the fruit and muesli selection, wished there was more. The local juice was nice, as was the cereals but more variety please. Cleaners, shuttle and reception staff were very friendly and very polite.
Cons: In 2017, we stayed at the Resort and Spa for 10 days with our relatives staying at the Inn and Hotel for our wedding. This was our first return to any Bay Gardens facility since. So this review is compared to what we experienced on our previous stay. We stayed in room 265 between 19-29 February 2020. The breakfast selection was adequate, we were expecting more local food as part of the buffet but there was very little to select for breakfast. During our 10 day stay, cocoa tea was available twice, green fig once, fish once, chicken once, plantain once, and there was no local bread at all, considering the island has so many bakeries even one in Gros Islet, this was disappointing. However, dishes like bacon, pork sausage, hard boiled eggs, beans, sausage franks, were a plenty. The fruit selection kept running low or out. Some members of restaurant staff were not of the standard I encountered at the Spa, I would suggest some staff from the Haven be given training by working one day of their working week at the Spa to see the standard of service their colleagues provide at other sites. Our room was infested with crawling ants. Our wifi enabled Smart tv would not connect to the hotel's wifi nor connect with either my Iphone or Ipad. I understand the Marina Haven was previously the Palm Haven hotel, and the hotel makeover reflects a hotel still in transition, it's clear the distinct Bay Gardens brand/standards are not fully established here and that it may take some time to achieve this. It would have been useful if a sign was placed on the notice board in reception to alert guests that there may be issue with the physical environment during their stay. Examples being a view from the hotel is of the Rodney Bay Marina, whilst another is of a site where mechanical diggers are housed, you may wish to think about how this view can be obscured from guests.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful scenery and weather, good shuttle bus to beach resort that had more facilities and free access to loungers etc on the beach. The cocktail parties are a must do especially in the beach resort.
Cons: There were a few issues in the room which were resolved after a while but these should have been checked before arrival. The breakfast was a little inconsistent and main meals very slow. We stayed on a B& B basis but others were on all inclusive but all had different coverage, check you can take meals in the other resorts or you will be tied to the Marina Haven and whilst ok it does limit your freedom of choice, we were glad we were on B &B basis. If I was coming again I would stay at the Inn or the Hotel which is more central
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It’s in a great location and is 1 of 4 Marina hotels located very close to each each other. There is a free shuttle that runs every hour. They even give you a ride I to town as it’s on the way to the beach resort. Everything is within 10 minute car distance. The Bay Garden Marina Haven is where we stayed. We had our 1 year old baby and it was perfect for us. This one is more chilled compared to the beach resort. if your going with a young one your better of staying here then planning your day in the morning. Your actually opposite the Marina which is really nice to go for lunch/dinner with a local supermarket. Really convenient.
Cons: The property is ideal. Super chilled and quiet for families. The staff are so friendly. They were helpful and played so much with our daughter that we loved it. We had such a laugh with them which always adds to your holiday.

Pros: Really good value for money.
Cons: Toilets flush running by itself every now and then.

Pros: There are nice views over the bay from the lounge where I ate my dinner. My room was spacious and air condition had fine cooling.
Cons: The water in the shower was running in a weak stripe. The compound seemed to be needed some maintenance, but as it seemed something was going on already. Unfortunatelly it also resulted in drilling noise

Pros: A hostel style house with a nice view and only a short walk from the ferry. Ok for one night, but way to expensive for what you get.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and nice owner. Enough info for us to know the area. Location close to the ferry terminal (suitable for early morning ferry trips or stopover before the next destination). Quiet location, we had good sleep. Walkable to the nearby areas in Castries. We didn't go out exploring much but it wasn't difficult to get around. Easy early morning walk down to the terminal. AC unit will be installed soon according to owner. However, we were only here for one night. They do prepare food but didn't have the chance to try it out. Nice place to sit outside the common area if you wish to.
Cons: No complaints as we only stayed one night and it's close to where we need to go the next morning. Just bear in mind in the Caribbean this is a standard price for any budget bedroom in the city center.

Pros: Superfriendly host and a great place to stay if you need to take the ferry. It's online a 10 minute walk up or downhill. You get a great view in the shared living room which is a nice bonus we used alot.
