I like the location, few steps to termini station, quite place, easy access, nice and friendly stuff.
Having problem with the remote of the TV. I think that is not working, trying to change the remote but still not working.
Daniele made contact to welcome us when I booked the AmoRoma 6 months ago, then again 2 days before we were to arrive, He was there to great us when we arrived too. Very personal service. Gave us a map and Showed us the best places to go in the time we had so very helpful. When we arrived at our room we were surprised on a gift from him as we were there for a birthday and anniversary, lovely touch. The AmoRoma is a 5 min walk from the main termini, perfect if you fly in from any of the airports in Rome, as you can get the train, metro or bus/coach to the termini. Then a short walk to drop of bags before the adventure of Rome starts. As you first approach the building you realise this isn’t a hotel it is more like your own apartment block, you are living in here. Very grand and a feel of old Rome. The reception is easy to find. We had a room on the 3rd floor, there is a cage lift which is so very fitting to the building. We only used it when we had the cases as wasn’t to bad to walk the stairs. There is a rather grand entrance for the apartment again making you feel like you are living here not just visiting. On first entering the hall way there is a area with a coffee machine and treats for you to enjoy. There are several of these areas around the apartments too, it is Italy after all coffee is king. There is what would be a large apartment/home divided up into good sized smaller accommodations of various sizes, and one room to take break fast in the morning 8-10. Good selection of continental breakfast food with coffee, tea and juice. Our room was to the rear looking into the central courtyard area, it was a nice size for the two of us with a large bed (two singles together) a good size bathroom with shower , basin and toilet. There was plenty of room for us and our luggage and to be comfortable when getting ready to go out on the town. Out and about. Easy walk (comfy shoes required) to.
Nothing to dislike, only small issue was with the two beds pushed together, this is common in all hotels etc normally I would put a zip tie in my case to combat the separation of the bed in the middle of the night. Alas I forgot this time!! but nice wooden floor in the apartment was more important than having to worry about having to push beds back together in the middle of the night.
great helpful staff
The best breakfast I had on my italy trip was on this accommodation. They had some nice sweet cake thingy for the morning to really wake you up :)
The room has a nice modern feel. We had to catch a train the next day so it was a good location for us. Free, but simple, breakfast.
I didn't know it was a self-check in so I was a bit confused when I arrived. That said, I was able to check in relatively smoothly. There are 2 elevator banks and we were staying on the other side from check in - again a little confusing, but we managed ok. The shower didn't drain well - needs some cleaning. But other than that the place was nice and clean.
With a stay at AmoRoma Suite, you'll be centrally located in Rome, steps from Via XX Settembre and 6 minutes by foot from Via Nazionale. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
