Overview

The Westin Rusutsu Resort is an all-season resort offering ski-in, ski-out access with more than 14 meters of snow falling each season and a host of summertime activities, including rafting, hiking, mountain biking, and more. The resort sits at the base of the mountains with stunning views of Mount Yotei, offering four 18-hole golf courses on the property, and was named the Best Ski Hotel in Japan for 2018 at the World Ski Awards. This hotel belongs to the largest resort in the Hokkaido area, which also features an amusement park, surrounded by the beautiful Shikotsu Toya National Park.

The Westin Rusutsu Resort offers 210 bi-level guest rooms and suites that offer various views of the mountains and golf courses. All guest rooms include signature Westin Heavenly Bed accommodations, as well as in-suite kitchenettes and a breakfast bar dining area. Rooms feature high ceilings and large windows to maximize the open, airy feel of the mountains and the views of the surrounding national park landscapes. For high-tech convenience, all rooms and suites offer complimentary WiFi and plenty of outlets and USB ports. The private Japanese-inspired baths feature soaking tubs, handheld showers, and separate toilets.

This resort features a 24-hour WestinWORKOUT fitness studio and its own on site spa and wellness center, Averara. There are multiple tennis courts on the resort grounds for guest use, as well as multiple on site restaurants and bars. The resort offers a traditional natural spring public bath, an indoor wave pool and a heated outdoor pool, and a sauna for guest recreation and relaxation.
