Expensive. The lady at pickup was excellent, even waited as our flight was late by about an hour and a half. Same lady at drop off, very nice and pleasant. Other than the cost renting from Enterprise was very good.

Pros:

staff friendly. Car I had was good on gas.

Cons:

the car I had book had to have an oil change; therefore wasn't available. I did have the choice to upgrade or take a lesser car. I should have had a lesser charge as I chose economy. Unable to pick up the car when I arrived. Early am 0130. no one was on duty. had to take a cab instead.

Shortly after we started on our drive we noticed a dragging sound from the bottom of the car and we could see a loose panel. A few days later our comfort level was declining, We tried calling St. John Avis where we picked up the car but there was no answer and the voice mailbox was full. I called Halifax Avis and the rep reassured me we could exchange the car in Prince Edward Island. The exchange went smoothly and their service was excellent. The car we received in the exchange was very comfortable for our needs.

Pros:

I was early for the pickup but the attendant was very accommodating. The car was new, clean and quite satisfactory. The return was just as smooth and quick and the attendants were quite pleasant and friendly.

Cons:

The price for the three days was a little steep considering it was after the Canada Day celebration and there seemed to be many cars available in the lot. Ten days earlier I had rented a car for half the price for four days.
