Location in a beautiful town, close to the sea-front. Nice garden. Very pleasant staff
Difficult to see how the hotel justified a four star rating - very little provided in room, no mini-bar, no water, no tea/coffee facilities. No newspaper service offered. TV limited to a few French terrestrial channels - no international news access. Decoration in floor to ceiling white a little hard to take. Hotel is difficult to find - total lack of signage a real suurprise in France.

the bedroom was very comfortable and well-maintained and the reception staff were helpful and friendly
I did not like the restaurant. The menu was far too limited for the price and the cooking was only just adequate

cleanliness and good sized room.
Breakfast buffet poor especially when it costs 18 euros per person. Dinner menu at 39 euros for three courses very disappointing, only eat there if you have a poor appetite and lots of money!!
