The reservation was not honored. I did not stay at Salida Inn & Monarch Suites. They did not have my reservation at the front desk and money was taken from my credit card for the room in advance.

Pros (+) The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was one of the best I’ve had. It had a great selection to choose from.
Cons (-) We were told upon check-in that the entire area was without internet service.......meaning there was no internet service, no tv, no cellular service!!! They were as hospitable as they could but thought a reduced rate should have been offered.

Pros (+) This looks like an old motel from the outside but the rooms have been extensively redone. I happened to chat with the owner/manager, who takes pride in running a tight ship.
