Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's convenient location, especially its proximity to the airport and local attractions. Many also highlighted the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, as well as the overall cleanliness of the rooms and public areas. However, several reviews noted that the property and rooms are dated and in need of renovation, with issues such as worn carpets, old furniture, and malfunctioning amenities like air conditioning and hot water. Some guests were dissatisfied with unexpected fees, such as parking and smoking charges. Despite these drawbacks, the positive aspects of location, service, and cleanliness stood out for many visitors.

We loved the convenience to the airport, there was also a convenient UPS store right in the hotel. Check in and our was fast and easy and the shuttle to the airport was wonderful. Our issue was that after our stay we got slapped with a smoking fee. They claimed the room smelled so heavily they had to take it out of rotation. The trouble is we didn't smoke in the room. We were in the process of mov...

Very dirt and very outdated. Crazy expensive and not up to the Hilton or Doubletree standard. Avoid if possible.

The rate for parking is really too much for guests of the hotel - I don't think there should be an extra rate for parking a car. Hotel rooms are large so that is great, but carpets are getting old and the rooms are not completely pristine clean, more like mostly clean (shower curtain was not super cleaned)...

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room was very dirty. It was clear that the bathroom door had not been cleaned around the handle. The tops of the door trim and mirrors were covered with dust, and under the bed it looked like it had never been vacuumed -- layers of dust. If a person is allergic to dust, I'd recommend to not stay here.

Pros (+) Bedding was very comfortable and the property is beautiful.
Cons (-) The airport shuttles only hold 9 passengers and when we needed the 4:30 a.m. ride and there were 24 people standing there and only one shuttle, we decided that Lyft was our only option. Otherwise the shuttle is prompt and appreciated. The pillows are extremely soft and a firmer option would have been nice, but we made due.

Pros (+) The hotel is very conveniently located near the airport and was clean, with an older vibe. Our maid service was good. An event I wanted to attend was being held at the hotel and the facilities were great for hosting it. The business area adjacent to the lobby was very helpful with three computers. It was easy to research places of interest, purchase tickets for area attractions and print them out ...
Cons (-) We wanted cold water bottles for our daily excursions and our room didn't have a refrigerator. We've not stayed in a DoubleTree hotel without a fridge in our room before this, so we never thought to ask when we booked. There was no microwave, either. A coffee pot was the only room amenity. We were told that only floors 9 and 10 had refrigerators and microwaves but we could add both to our room for...
