Pros (+) We just needed an overnight stay and this was perfect. Nothing fancy, clean and comfortable. Some small things could use an update, but overall really decent. Friendly staff and good breakfast. We would stay again.

Cons (-) Pool says it's heated but was very cold, hottub is a block away from the pool. Road noise from Cedar Street is loud in the mornings.

Cons (-) The hotel is actually three different buildings spread across a city block. If you're in the first building (near the office) you have to walk outside to the last building if you want to use the hot tub. Breakfast was basically waffles or cereal.
Pros (+) As a family with older kids, we love the in town location. Less shuttling for parents as the kids can easily walk to the beach or walk to town. We also love the breakfast in the morning because it saves us money. The executive King rooms have a twin pullout sofa which was a great option. The rooms are spacious for a hotel room and we loved having the fridge and microwave in the room. The pillowtop...
Cons (-) Because Sandpoint is a town for families, it would be nice if the room configurations were more family friendly, like having a king or queen bed with a bunk bed. Some hotels where we have stayed have "bunk rooms" for families with multiple kids. A small kitchenette for extended stays would be appreciated, too.
