Jin Jiang Sanya Royal Garden Resort

In the whole the hotel was pretty nice, the clean big rooms, very light and rather cosy. And we also had a fantastique sea view. The location was rather convenient as well, close to the beach. But pay attention! - there is no direct access to the beach, to get there you should go downstairs and pass the lobby of the other hotel (Landscape Hotel) - it is the shortest way. It was OK for us - we are young, but if you are old it can make some problems for you (so I would advice - Landscape hotel - almost the same price). And the swimming pool is only in the VIP zone (upper villa) - so you should go upstairs - but is also ok, as in the sea it was enough water for us!:) (but again if you need swimming pool you'd better chose Landscape hotel).

The breakfast was quite poor and absolutely the same every day (but the good point there was the choice - chinese or western), so I would advice to add more variety to the menu:)

This is an excellent choice for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday with great family facilities. The location is good too - Dadonghai is definitely the best area to be in Sanya. Highly recommend this hotel - best we stayed at throughout our trip.

Not really, there's not much English spoken but still more than anywhere else in Hainan - the staff are very friendly. If you can't climb steps then you may be a bit restricted but there is a complimentary golf cart to take guests between 2 of the resort levels.
