Location. Staff were good. Clean.
Hotel is starting to get a tad beat up
Not worth the price
Beneath the veneer of hip, the place is tired. Cracked sink and tub. Room door handle falling off. Sheets that don't fit the bed. A budget hotel without the budget price.
The location is absolutely great! Within walking distance to everything. Felt stupid for renting a car. We didn't even move it during our stay. Walked everywhere in old town and took an Uber to Camelback Mt. ($15 that way and $6back... strange ) Loved the vibe by the pool and the variety of people. From families with kids, to young adults and also mature couples...everyone was very chill and had a good time. We ordered food a few times by the pool and service was excellent. The pitcher of margarita was perfect for an afternoon in the sun after a 4hrs hike.
They had a wedding one of the days and pool area had to be closed by 4pm. I completely understand it...however, we had to make different plans since we were not aware of it in advance.
Noisy and not comfortable. I was there four nights and when I checked in I requested that a blinking red light in the room be fixed. Still blinking when I checked out
Great pool, great restaurant
Could have been a little cleaner. The maid staff was good. I just mean the hotel in general.
The hotel is minutes from Old Scottsdale, as well as easily accessible from highways and the airport. Very convenient.although
Although we used the elevator to access our room on the 2nd floor, getting our luggage from the car in parking lot to the elevator was not easy due to the few stairs near the parking lot. Anyone with heavy luggage, a stroller or wheelchair would find the stairs a detriment. Suggest ramps replace the stairs.
Rooms in bad condition. Need maintenance. Bar staff extremely slow and under experienced making drinks.
Valet was solid. Couldn't believe the guy actually remembered my name as I walked up to get my car the next day.
No hot water
Great location/proximity to Old Town.
Didn't have ANY hot water during my stay. What's the point of a hotel room without hot water. Bed was also not comfortable.
Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were clean. Great location, we walked to Giants Stadium and to many restaurants. Used the hotel bikes and enjoyed the pool with games. Workout facility is good. Food was good, not great.
As friendly as they were, service was slow... we couldn't get into most of our rooms until 4:30 or 5:30 in one case. Service in the restaurant was painfully slow. We weren't in any hurry so it was ok, but if we'd had somewhere to be, it would have been a problem. Broken elevator was annoying.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our room didn't have a fridge; didn't find out until almost midnight the second day of our stay that all other rooms had a fridge.
Located walking distance from great shopping and restaurants, this place was fine. Fun modern decor, friendly staff, and nice pool area. The room was very clean and well decorated. While the rooms are very clean, it could use some "touching up" from scuff marks on the walls and trim to chipped furniture. But, that's just be me being picky. I did feel like it was slightly overpriced for the old hotel turned boutique, but we paid for a clean room in a great location and at the end of the day, I'm fine with that.
In the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, where the Arts District and Civic Center Mall meet, The Saguaro welcomes you with a vivacious pool scene and inventive flavors from Iron Chef Winner Jos
