Pros: Hotel staffs are helpful. Rooms are tidy and clean. The only weak point is the location. If you drive your vehicle to travel around the island, it’s really doesn’t matter about the hotel location.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Salad selection is limited.
6.0 Good
Pros: I liked the private onsen, it had a nice view and was a very special memory of our trip.
Cons: No tattoos at the public onsen...it’s 2020! People with tattoos aren’t in the Yakuza. I’m a photographer and my husband is a producer, we are good people.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness and staff were helpful, noteworthy was that toilet and bath ware separated.

Pros: the hotel interior design is vintage . it‘s beautiful .but the location is so far from the port, about 1 hour bus trip.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location with an amazing view over the Angel Road. The staff is super kind and efficient. They came to pick my luggage up before i went sightseeing and then picked me up later with the car and they also brought me to the port the day after. The onsen with the view over the sea is also amazing! Had the best stay here, would absolutely come back again!
Cons: The only minus point is that there is no Wi-Fi in the room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel must have one of the best views on the island. The onsen facilities are very good. The water was not scalding hot, which made the experience very pleasant. The japanese dinner and breakfast were of high quality. We stayed for 4 days and were presented with a different menu for every meal. It is easy to get to the town (Tonosho) from the hotel, though it involves climbing a hill (hence the great views from the hotel). Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Some of the hotel is apparently renovated and looks very nice. I think these are western-style rooms. We had a Japanese room, which was not renovated and was quite outdated.

Pros: Great location! There’s a bus stop (named after the hotel itself lol) right in front of the hotel! Only three stops (like 2 mins) away from Kusakabe port. They have both private bathroom in your own room and public bath tub in traditional Japanese style on the second floor which was amazing and rarely seen. The staff was very friendly and can speak English well. On the day I checked out, I missed the early bus and he offered to drive me to the port! Super nice and helpful!
Cons: Can’t think of anything really, I just loved it and would definitely come back

9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a very nice and big room with tatami and sea view. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. A nice extra is the free bike service and pickup service from the port. The staff was really friendly and helpful, especially we got a lot of very useful information and friendly service from Hana, which was greatly appreciated.
Cons: Although there is a bus stop in front of hotel, the bus doesn’t go that frequent. (Getting to Tonosho port to get another bus line is an alternative)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The seaview is perfect. The hotel is only 10m from a beautiful beach. The bus stop is right at the door. The big suoermarket , together with a natural hot spring, is only 3 minutes away. Every evening you will see the beautifully different sky afar. The hotel got everything you need: from a good meal to bicycle to laundry to hot tea to pick up. The owner is very considerate and can communicate clearly in Eng.
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We are a group of 4. All of us enjoyed the breakfast and dinner very much that were both delicious. We also appreciated the staff who were mindful to customers' need and very helpful. We enjoyed the stay.
Cons: We considered that it would be better if the hot spring was bigger.

Cons: 沒有
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff there are great. polite and friendly. they are more than willing to walk an extra mile to accommodate our needs. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who'd like to visit Shodoshima, which is only 30 mins away from the city centre.
Cons: nothing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: good service, good food, nice staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Highly recommend this Onsen hotel at Shodoshima which is right in front of a beach. I booked this same hotel in 2017. When I cancelled my trip to Shodoshima less than 24 hours before check-in due to typhoon in 2017, I thought the hotel would charge me penalty but they waived it. So I decided I must come back to complete my trip. The hotel assigned an English proficient local Takamatsu girl to assist us in these two days, excellent services. We can hear the healing soft sound of seawaves and see the sunrise directly from the room. And the food is fresh and delicious. Satisfactory holiday .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The seaview is excellent. The host is highly nice and very ready to help. The meals are arranged in beautifully decorated private rooms. That's wonderful.
Cons: None

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Worth the trip for watching sunset from your room or better still the outdoor onsen. Good shuttle bus service to & from the ferry port. Can get to most of the island by bus.
Cons: Evening meal was good value but a change on the second night would have been welcome.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved it that you could see the sunset from every room and I loved the balcony. The public bath was fantastic, right under the stars. I would stay there again, if I would come back to Shodoshima
Cons: The staff couldn't speak any English, but I knew it upfront. So it was okay for me.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location, near the pier. The Chinese staff friendly served in the dinner.
Cons: Bed is a bit too soft.
6.3 Good
Pros: Lovely view room and lots of space in room also!! Free toiletries etc. Hotel staff (although not speaking any English) were very friendly.
Cons: It’s very hard to get around and explore on foot, the bicycle rental was all in Japanese so couldn’t understand how to use those. We weren’t allowed to reserve dinner as it was for ‘hotel guests only’ ?? Not sure what we were then. So had to get the hotel staff to drive us to 7/11 where we had to buy a cereal bar for dinner... The swimming pool was empty. Gutting! Had to reserve breakfast as no where else at all to eat so was fine but very expensive. Happy to only be there one night as was very very limited. The hotel staff were very friendly but it was extremely hard to communicate. Rooms were very out dated with cracks and dirt on walls.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Highly recommend the dinner menu! Osen is very big and comfortable. Staffs are nice. The view from the room is spectacular! Very comfortable hotel, highly recommend!
Cons: The location is bit far from the port, for people who don’t drive, it’s going to be a bit hard, they do have shuffle bus though.
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, staff was good, location excellent. Toilet can be cleaner.
6.3 Good
Pros: The view are very good, you can see the sunset in the lobby and in the hotel's room
Cons: I spoke English to request the shuttle bus in the reception counter because i don't know Japanese language , but the trainee in the front desk who come from China request me to speak Mandarin with her, when i still spoken English, her face was sinking and have a bad attitude. How can she treat guests like this ? are she expect all the Asian must speak Mandarin. My God i am in Japan not China.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The views from this hotel are stunning and this, along with the very friendly staff, the great traditional Japanese evening meal and a lovely Onsen on site all make up for the fact that this hotel is in desperate need of some love. The place is not unclean but it is quite tired. Still we had a fabulous one night stay. Would come again and stay longer.
Cons: The swimming pool was empty despite the hot weather. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable but it just needs a facelift.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I stayed 2 nights in a Japanese style room. It was clean, comfortable and has an amazing view of the water. I slept very well both nights. Onsen also has amazing view and breakfast was good. And it is good to have shuttle bus to and from the port.
Cons: That dinner is not available to those who did not make advance reservation

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is truly kindness and helpful, although its not a modern hotel, it provide very clean atmosphere. The Breakfast and hot spring is also quiet good. Highly recommend!
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is right across the port.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: great location, nice staff and good food.
Cons: nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: It was very close to the port (but far from everything else). I didn't try the restaurant but there was a tourist center nearby that had a small cafe. And across the street from that was a convenience store that would heat a meal on request.
Cons: The windows gave a great view of the harbor -- as long as you were standing up. The windows were set too high in the wall to see out while sitting down. The furnishings were worn and not very attractive when new. The onsen was large, bright and clean. But the amenities were rather spartan and it could only be reached by walking down a very long, gloomy hallway and then down two flights of steps.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is really good, just few mins walk from Toshino port, and it’s really nice place to stay.
