Pick up is confusing, nobody there to go over the rental car for previous damage, and the same at drop off. I had to take lots of pictures and got accused of having a rock chip in windshield, witch was there before I took possession. I have no intentions to rent from Sixt ever again. The rental car had lots of previous damage and should have been repaired before it got brought back to the rental fleet. My thoughts are that Sixt does not take the safety of their customers and their passengers seriously.Reviewed 4 Oct 2024

The drop off was complicated moving the charges to another credit card despite our telling them our intentions before we took the car and as we dropped it off. It required a manager and quite a bit of time. Fortunately, we didn’t miss our flight but it was close despite the extra time we allocated and TSA-Pre.Reviewed 2 Oct 2024

Our flight was delayed and we arrived after midnight. There was no way for us to get our vehicle that I had paid for in advance. So I paid for an extra day plus I had to pay for an Uber back and forth from the airport to the rental agency. Both Sixt and Kayak should post the hours of the agency so those of us traveling know not to rent from an agency that does not have a plan for rental car pickup after hours. Sixt's capacity to partner with a renter's existing auto insurance company is VERY limited. I have Geico auto insurance and they do NOT cover rentals from Sixt. This means that I MUST utilize Sixt's expensive rental car insurance. I wasted valuable time showing up to rent a the car I reserved from Sixt only to find out from my vehicle insurance company, Geico, that I would not be covered. The Sixt agent was cagey and dodged my questions about insurance coverage for my scheduled rental. PLUS they had none of the cars I had hoped to rent. I will not be using Kayak and DEFINITELY not be using Sixt for any future car rental needs. I wasted so much of my time dealing with this clusterf**k of a scheduled rental. I have a long memory and feel like I got burned by you . I ended up renting directly from Enterprise. Geico does provide insurance for their rentals.Reviewed 26 Sep 2024

Because of the terrible traffic jam in Los Angeles, I almost missed the plane. I left riverside to go to the airport, and the traffic jam took me 4 hours. I was really devastated. These people are scammers. They will not give you the car for any internet price or booking. They have hidden fees. I booked it many time with different websites and every time I come to pick it up it’s a scam and ended up not even getting a car.
