Pros: Palazzo Dragoni is the perfect place to stay and is in a great location. The owners Roberto and Erminia are very welcoming, attentive and truly care about making one's stay as comfortable as possible. Roberto gave me great advice on restaurants and places to visit. Everything about the Palazzo is beautiful, interesting and elegant. The view from my room, number 10, was spectacular. It was super clean, large, and the bathroom had a great shower. Breakfast was delicious! Erminia makes wonderful baked goods, great coffee and her scrambled eggs were the best! Thank you! I would highly recommend staying at Palazzo Dragoni! Enjoy!

Pros: Great location at the top near the cathedral, and a short walk to some nice restaurants/cafes. Beautiful breakfast room with high ceilings and amazing view. Comfortable suite with view, we didn't have a balcony but some rooms do. No parking but concierge took my husband to park the car nearby.

Pros: Located atop Spoleto just steps from the duomo, Palazzo Dragoni is like stepping back in time. The rooms are lovely (request 8!) and the owners are absolutely wonderful ! Roberto and his wife (I sadly don’t remember her name but she’s truly very kind!) are at the hotel, more like a B&B, and they help with questions on the city given they were born there. We would absolutely go back and highly recommend this gem of a property !!

Cons: Nicely appointed bathrooms, but in our room the walk-in shower was between the sink and toilet, so you had to be careful when the shower floor was wet, to get to the toilet. Still the design was creative, considering they were working with a very old building!

Pros: Great location; easy access in a car with complimentary private parking at the hotel. It is immediately next to the Roman theater and steps away from the pedestrian area with restaurants, shops and historic sights. The hotel is modern yet classy with an elevator and a pleasant, helpful staff that gave great restaurant advice. The standard double room was perfect! King size bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom with tub was spacious, new and clean with toiletry kit and big fluffy towels. Our room had a mini fridge and a balcony with a view of the beautiful Umbrian countryside. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and featured eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, breads etc. in a lovely dining room with large windows overlooking the olive groves and vineyards. All in all it was a great value for the price and I would recommend it highly.

Pros: The Hotel San Luca was a beautiful Italian style villa. The room was large with french doors and marble bathroom. I was staying two nights as a break before the long flight home to Australia. I couldn't have picked a better place to relax. Frederica and her husband were excellent hosts and greeted me as I stepped out of the taxi. Very helpful with directions etc. and so friendly. I will be recommending to all my friends who travel to Italy to attend the Dante Alighieri School in Recanati.

Pros: Charming hotel with fantastic location! The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful especially with directions and recommendations local restaurants. Room was spacious and very comfortable with spacious marble bathroom (!) including his/her sinks and great shower. Bed was large and lots of closet space. Cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general is at top level. Hotel is furnished with antiques and has a flower-filled courtyard with fountain. Location: ideal for exploring Spoleto because it’s so near to the mobile underground people movers. Also great for exploring other areas of Umbria with quick access to highway. Enclosed garage was available for small fee (useful). Breakfast was included in a nice dining area, and service was excellent. Many nice dolci and very fresh fruit, cheese and vegetables. We stayed a full week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would love to return and would recommend to close friends and we actually did recommend to family.

We would highly recommend Hotel San Luca.

Pros: We were delayed in our arrival and the man at reception kindly waited for us and helped us to park our car in a space we had reserved on site.
Cons: The room and ensuite were very small. Very basic breakfast.
7.9 Good
Pros: Situated 10 min walk from Spoleto station and located just next to the entrance of the old town this hotel is the perfect location to explore Spoleto. My room was spacious, clean with an abundance of natural light plus a balcony overlooking a park and awesome views of the old town . Staff were pleasant and helpful ,breakfast was good but could have had more healthier options.
Cons: Everything was good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, easy access to the station and into the old centre. The breakfast was nice and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons:

Pros: This was the third time I have stayed at this lovely hotel. Excellent staff, very comfortable rooms, and a great breakfast. In an excellent location, walking distance from everything, and convenient supermarket around the corner. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Special thanks to Francesca, Moreno and Luciano!
Cons: Loved everything.

Pros: Even though the hotel is located just outside Spoleto's core ... a very short walk from the Duomo ... you are in the middle of this green haven with breathtaking views onto a Roman aqueduct. It is a classy hotel that preserves its original features and has been kept-up perfectly. The hotel is family-run, now by the third generation ... very friendly, but professional ... they really know how to make you feel special and at home all at once. A must on your bucket list!!

Pros: Fantastic location at the top of Spoleto, behind the Rocca. Incredible view of the Ponte delle Torri right from the room. No other hotel has this view. Room was very spacious with desk and small couch and windows on two sides. Just enough parking in front of hotel for us to park our car. Very nice to have car right outside the door (this appears to be the exception in Spoleto hotels). Breakfast room and spread was good (excellent coffee).

Pros: The view, the old world charm of the hotel, and the staff were beyond compare. The woman who ran the breakfast was wonderful and a delight every day.

Pros: The hotel was lovely and when the food did come it was very nice. Had ordered a plain pasta for my vegetarian friends and when it came it had been cooked in a pan which fish has been in so wasn't very good. Then we all ended up eating on our own as everything came out delayed or late. When speaking to one of the managers about this they were not very friendly. In my bathroom the water was cold and the pressure was weak.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: It is a family-run hotel. The beautiful photo of the ancient church does not correspond to the hotel at all. I went there expecting to enter a charming medieval or Renaissance place and found myself in an ugly Italian tasteless modern building. Once feels cheated. The room was dark, cold, and the bathroom must have been used for elderly or disabled people. Not a nice feeling to be in there. In the evening I could hear the family who run the hotel talking to each other so loudly and producing all sorts of noises just above my room. The level of noise was such that I could not fall asleep.
