Pros: Spectacular location on Dickerson Beach amid a tropical garden! We especially liked the fact that they were kitchenette apartments - which made us feel more like we lived here & less like we were just visiting.

Pros: Very modern and clean inside the rooms, but very local and rustic from the outside. Having every tree plant and flower named was great, as well as the local bird life. Stepping straight out on to the beach was great.

Cons: We were offered an upgrade to a double bed as apparently we had selected singles. I accepted this offer only to find out on arrival they new nothing about it, so twin beds it was! Not having its own restaurant, we had use of the restaurant. On the beach that actually belonged to another hotel.

Pros: It was lovely eating breakfast on our little balcony each morning and then strolling to the beautiful beach. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool was always very quiet and a great place to read your book in the afternoon.

Pros: A very relaxed, friendly and comfortable place, beautifully kept and right by the beach and a lovely restaurant. Staff and management were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the cottage was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The Beach was just paradise!

Pros: The best thing about getting a hotel room after a week-long bareboat charter is having a shower -- we were not disappointed! Water pressure and temperature was excellent (you never know with historic buildings). A/C and fans also worked very well to keep rooms comfortable. Size of rooms was huge (the 2 story rooms at least), which was welcome after spending a week cramped on a sailboat :). Having a small kitchenette was also a perk. Being in the heart of Nelson's Dockyard is also great -- very atmospheric place to walk around, and also an easy walk to restaurants between English & Falmouth Harbours. Also recommended is the short hike to Fort Berkeley and Middle Ground trails.

Cons: Mattresses were, unfortunately, rather mushy. Breakfast was nothing exceptional.

Cons: The hotel would benefit from offering outdoor lounge seating for guests to relax. They have a prime location overlooking the marina. Also a bar in the evening would be good.

Pros: Everything was sheer and utter perfection. The building, our room, the location, the food and staff were all delightful. Having to leave at the end of our stay was the only low point!

Pros: We chose the hotel for its location in Nelson's Dockyard and for the history. The building is beautifully restored with polished wood floors and exposed brickwork. We were given an upgrade to a suite which was nice and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The freshly cooked breakfast muffins and local yoghurt were excellent.

Cons: The bathroom was shabby and dated compared with the rest of the room. The rest of the breakfast was not as good: the toast was dry and the jam/marmalade was small plastic pots of Smuckers. Breakfast food was served up all together and a buffet would have been better. The hotel restaurant and bar closed after 3pm - while there are good restaurants a short walk outside the Dockyard gates (especially Le Cap Horn) and drinks are available at the Admirals Inn and the Galley Bar it seemed odd that guests could not get any drinks in the hotel in the evenings.

Cons: I felt bad for male employees that had to wear "long" pants in hot weather as the women wore skirts.

Pros: Feedback based on staying in Royal Suites which were as described with a comfortable sitting area, balcony overlooking the sea and with their own dedicated pool/bar areas - importantly these are over 18 only areas which helps with the 'relaxation' aspect. Room was slightly dated and bed a bit soft/lumpy/uncomfortable but overall better than most other Caribbean hotel rooms I have stayed in. Although all inclusive, the meals were of quite a reasonable quality (some very good) but at times there seemed to be too many people for the facilities open at any one time, particularly breakfast and on beach party night. The grounds are a superbly designed tropical garden and the two beaches help to spread out the guests so they never feel overcrowded. Good gym, large by hotel standards, with modern equipment. One excellent facility is the 24 hour cafe built on decking among trees on a slope overlooking the bay. The staff were the very special thing about this hotel. They were all smart, friendly and very good at what they do. Almost all actually seemed to enjoy their work which is probably why they were such great people to deal with.

Cons: Could do with a few more dinghies such as Lasers (or similar) to improve the watersports offering for experienced sailors

Pros: Having a number of restaurants to chose from was really good. The range of activities available was fabulous. We really enjoyed the aqua aerobics in the pool!

Pros: The property exceeded our expectations . All the rooms come with a sea view . The rooms are impeccable , clean , comfortable . They are furnished in a contemporary manner . The room are very large . They also have a fully equipped kitchen . It is ideal for short and long stay . The Food in the main restaurant is delicious . We had sushi on one night and italian on another night . Both food was great ! The staff and the owner Mr Jef Hadeed are very welcoming , attentive and efficient . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished our holiday did not come to an end . The location of the resort is good and central . Close to a lot of restaurants and the English harbor . The resort also provides a secure parking to their clients . There is a very nice beach 10 mns walking from the resort .

Pros: The hotel was beautiful, all staff across all specialties were friendly, knowledgeable and very approachable. The hotel was very clean and well looked after. Dinner and bar snacks were amazing, the size of the "half-lobster" was what we call a "full-lobster" at home! Our junior garden view room was alot bigger than I expected for a 3* and was comfortable and easy to stay in. I would absolutely stay here again and would have stayed a bit longer!

Cons: We were given the wrong room, we we were given the changing room, we paid $350 for a sea view room, the staff also were very rude.

Pros: The apartment was fine for our one night stay but the decor was quite dated, the water pressure was very low giving a poor shower and the resort does not have a spa. The ‘spa access’ description is misleading as there isn’t even one nearby.

Pros: Didn't have breakfast. We made our own! Location is superb and both the bedroom and outside balcony/courtyard were wonderfully spacious, clean and comfortable. Kitchen facilities were excellent, the gardens magnificent!

Cons: Some of the power points need re-fixing as they were loosening from the wall. Sliding wardrobe door was a bit sticky. On site mini mart was a real bonus but it could be even better with more fresh bread, produce and other grocery lines on sale.

Pros: The view from our spacious, comfortable room was incredible! Loved that we could walk a beautiful beach to a couple of places to eat. The staff was at attentive to our needs! Loved the lady bringing fresh fruit to sell! We will stay there on our next visit!!

Cons: Your website said breakfast was included. However, at the hotel they said it only included a continental breakfast. The menu listed muffins and honey which they never had. You had the choice of yogurt or fruit plate. The hair dryer did not work. The outside patio light did not work. Your website and theirs said wifi was included .. but the signal strength was very weak and many days kept dropping. For a full 48 hours, we had no .. no .. internet connection at all. Your website implied the restuarant was open for all 3 meals. But it was closed for dinner. Your website implied that it had a usable beach. They did have a small beach with clean sand and chairs .. however the "beach" was in the middle of harbor docks with many ships .. and we weren't sure about the oil/gas affecting us.

Cons: rooms were appalling, worst i have stayed in. Tiny, cramped, 30 year old TV, dirty, all concrete everywhere in the room. No bedside tables. Bathroom awful. You would get back to your room at 5 in the evening to find the cleaners just about to do your room, when you wanted to get ready for the evening. System of having to queue in the morning to book a restaurant, which then were hardly ever available was rubbish. Having to pay for WIFI and a room safe, which has always been free elsewhere.

Pros: Good hotel in the middle of town, close to shops and restaurants. After reading the reviews I asked for a quiet room and they were happy to give me one on the opposite site of the infamous shop/bar. Rooms and appliances a bit old but clean. Very courteous, reliable staff.

Cons: The balcony door didn't close properly, I could lock it but there remained a small gap through which the street noise and some mosquitos came inside. Breakfast was decent but not all items had been brought out yet at 7 AM, so maybe get there a bit later.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, both in the hotel and the restaurant. Lunch was delicious and the service was swift. Room is well equipped with a microwave, fridge and kettle. It feels like a quiet, green oasis depsite being close to a main road. I have stayed in at least a dozen different hotels in Antigua over the past 25 years and, for the price, this one is exceptional.

Pros: On our 4th day in, the restaurant opened under new management. We had some of the best meals at Nigel's - it is absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Len-Roy and Oliver were absolutely amazing to visit with!! Made our stay super enjoyable - wish we could have met them earlier in our trip. Definitely returning.

Cons: Although the resort was inexpensive, the value for the money was miserable. Unfriendly staff, sub-par food, and not much to do activity wise. I woke up in the middle of the night extremely thirsty but found that there was zero access to water anywhere on the resort. I, as well as many other guests I spoke with, will not be returning.
