Everything was exceptional about the stay including front desk to housekeeping. Everyone was amazing.
We could not stay for breakfast. We enjoyed the courteousness of the staff, the cleanliness and the holiday decorations. We also enjoyed the complimentary strawberry/chocolate dish we were brought for our anniversary.
Other guests were loud in our hallway at all hours of the night--we would have appreciated a room further away from party crowd. Plumbing is old/poor water pressure.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Breakfast was terrible. Pastry basket was stale and food was poor. Wait staff were excellent but food was subpar. I was totally surprised at how poor.
bathroom specially the shower. Room too dark and decor very old fashion. Very small adn old fashion closet with inadequate hangers for a hotel of this quality. Colours very cold and though there is lots of space not well used.
I have been coming to this Ritz for many years. It remains by far the best hotel in St Louis.
