Spacious room, the largest one during our Japan trip. The view was gorgeous. The room is facing an infinity ocean. And it comes with an Onsen at the balcony. Good thing about is, there are several Onsen hotels all connected, there is several Onsen places to pick, and a private one as well. Food was delicious
The nearest kids games room is quite run down. Although it is not located at Amahara, they are all connected. Assuming they are under the same group
The Japanese bed is comfortable
The shabu shabu wasn’t good as the beef was cooked to serve on the table nd they were oily and cold. We expect to cook it in a hot pot like the traditional style.
Everything was perfect !!! (except 2nd night's dinner ) room, restaurant, hot springs. We enjoyed a lot.One of staff, Hoshiyama, she was professional and very helpful, my husband and I want to say to her "thanks" I will go again in the future.
Staying 2 nights, the first day dinner was fantastic and delicious, but second day's dinner was too bad just like eating breakfast. It couldn't compare to the first dinner; we were disappointed. We should have reserve one night or choose other meal plan. Anyway, there's breakfast was very good.
With a stay at Amahara in Sumoto (Sumoto Onsen), you'll be steps from Osaka Bay and 3 minutes by foot from Sumiyoshi Shrine. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
