Dissapointed
The location is great as are most of the hotel facilities. The bed was very comfortable.
The staff were inattentive and busy talking to each other. Our room was ready an hour late. The room was a bit tired.

Breakfast set up made it look like you were skimping on staff. The poor girl who was required to seat guests also had to clear and clean tables and set them and take beverages too. She should only have been responsible to seat guests and then there should have been a bus boy to clear and clean and set the tables. The line was ridiculously long each morning with tables empty but unable to be used until the poor ONE girl could clear etc for each individual group that came in. Very poor management. There should have been a 2nd barista as many people just ended up leaving before their tea or coffee arrived at the table. Very disappointing
Very comfortable stay. We were able to upgrade to a sea-facing room for the second night with no problem.
The purpose of my trip was for business in the City and at Manly.Staying at the Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific was a convenient location for my itinery.
I have stayed in much better appointed rooms in hotels in other locations and capital cities for less money. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, however found it a bit $$$$$ for what it was.
Best location in Manly. All of the staff that we had anything to do with were very helpful. Room was very clean and quite.
The superior ocean view room has an amazing large balcony and great views over the beach.
No towel rails or soap dish in the bathroom. Plus the room and balcony area was slightly sterile and lacking furniture- e.g. no mirror in the main bedroom area and no dining table and chairs on the balcony. On the Friday night, the staff dealt with very rowdy guests in an extremely poor way. We (and other guests) had to complain several times. We made 5 phonecalls to reception between 0200-0430 when the noise finally stopped. The Hotel manager admitted it had been poorly handled by staff the next day.
Wonderful beacside location. Very comfortable large room with fantistic view overlooking Manly Beach. Very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. Good bars.
It would be nice to be able to order a drink and/or snacks at the rooftop pool. The retaurant is fine for breakfast but hardly suitable for dinner etc. However the competition in Manly for great dining is strong.
Good location. Lovely bar with good food, overlooking the ocean.
The room was outdated, and had a cheap spray-job to update the bathroom. The housekeeping was unpredictable, no towels one day, no new tea bags and an unemptied bin the next. Concierge were disorganised and did not respond with efficiency when a problem was identified.
Perfect location!
We love the ocean and beach view at the balcony. The Manly Corso Shopping Centre is a relaxing way to shop as compared to shopping mall.
The only comment on the hotel is the staffs were not that friendly in view that they are in the hospitality line.
The view across the Pacific Ocean, especially at sunrise. They were spectacular, and one morning we spoted a pod of whales playing in the morning sun.
The adjoining doors betwwen the rooms require isulation. We thought the people in the next room were actually in our room with us, even when they were only talking, we could hear every word.
the convenience was wonderful , walk to beach and cafes , the bar in the hotel was excellent and so was the security
I thought we should have had a free carparking spot
