The level of cleanliness was not consistent.
Great staff, very unusual design and perfect the Cat on entrance ;) Location in just 200m to the beach. Its great to spend time during night on roof terrace. We used economy room and I would not say that it very spacy , but good enough for two with pair of suitcases. I've read in previous comments complains about ventilation noise. This solved by setting temperature to 24C... forcing to operate at minimal pace during night. This is an good place for those, who use hotel to sleep, only.
Total Absence of breakfast or anything alike, even for extra money :( Taking in to consideration absence of fridge, that is something I would suggest to change... BTW, its about right time to refresh furniture on terrace.
Very good location just off Carmel market
Room had no window To the outside , very small shower and bathroom. Worn down tawls and in general the place requires a reneten. No mini fridge, no hairdryer in the room. Stuff felt free to charge my card with additional VAT charges without informing me before. When I asked not to come in to clean at the reception (as they also do not have ’do lot disturb signs) they still cane in. Elevator and stairs were just outside my room, so was also noisy.
The location was excellent.
I did not get what I was told on their payment receipt I was going to get. I booked a double room suite, and was given a single room, with insufficient packing space, and no balcony, at the back of the hotel. When I queried this I was told that double room suite means double bed. During my whole stay my sheets were not changed even once, and the water stains on the tiny toilet shower floor were rarely cleaned. The 60 Shekel per day surcharge for breakfast, was basically a little paid slip to go have breakfast at a corner eatery a few hundred meters down the road. I went there once. It was packed. When I asked whether I could order something that I could take to the hotel, I was told no, so the hotel made 600 shekels on the house. My plane arrived two days late. I called immediately to confirm my room, and was told by Maria that my room was waiting for me. When I got there my room had been booked out to 3 Bavarian German ladies for 3 nights. This is dishonest. One does not let out a room that has been fully paid for in advance. When I asked if I could be moved to a room with a balcony, I was told that I would have to pay an extra 500 shekels. This was outrageous, given that they had used 2 night paid for that I was not there and booked them out to others, and they were profiting 600 shekels for breakfast vouchers not used. I declined their offer. There was no small fridge in the room, as is the norm with most hotels. They did allow me to keep water in their fridges, and allowed me to fill up an ice bucket whenever I wished. Some of the reception staff could not properly speak English or Hebrew, but Russian. The man at the reception desk, when he was on duty, was excellent and very helpful.
No windows in the room
