Pros: The location was perfect, just over 5 minute walk to Shibuya Station. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was my first time in a Pod hotel so wasn't sure what to expect. It does get a bit much after a few days but the place was clean, amenities great, and the reception / communal area really nice to spend time outside of the pod. You really just need a bed to sleep anyway. I'd stay here again and easily recommend it.

Pros: The staff were super friendly! Breakfast they had a selection of breads - Japanese breads so of course they were good. Coffee was pretty good too but sadly did not manage to try out the free beer as was out exploring Tokyo! I stayed on the 7th floor (women’s only floor), if I had to guess about 20 ‘rooms’ on the floor? 3 showers for the whole floor but because I always came back late (after midnight), i’ve never had a problem with waiting for a shower. The shower was clean too, and I hate starting a shower if the floor is wet (i’m weird and it was not wet at midnight). Bed is super comfy. Plenty of luggage opening space. Skinny full length mirror in your room; perfect for me since I’d rather not hog the toilet mirrors while doing skincare/makeup.

Cons: Only 1 lift for 10 floors can sometimes make for a bit of a wait! Let down slightly by the breakfast which just consists of a couple of pastries. For the standard of the rest of the property, the breakfast is a bit naff! To help the climate, it would be great to have a free water dispenser as well to refill bottles rather than buying them each time :)

Cons: Nothing to complain really. Rooms were nice and quiet and people respectful of noise for the most part. Just some nights when other guests would pack their luggage at 2 or 3am which was a bit annoying as sound travels but thats no fault of the hotel.

Cons: No windows at all, it’s pretty much dark all the time, only lights are in your room. Enough to get by but I don’t recommend it if you’re a major sun-person. Also on my first night one of the guests were being really super annoying and kept knocking the door (don’t know what or why) which got louder and then turned into banging. Honestly I was too knackered to get up and check it out. Second night was completely fine, slept like a baby.

Pros: The staff were so lovely - super polite, friendly. The hotel is immaculate, modern, relaxing. We were on the 14th floor which had a room with a washer and dryer, an ice machine, and a beverage machine - very handy. We were a group of 3, and we were in a superior twin with an extra bed - we found the space to be comfortable.
We ate at the hotel restaurant for breakfast almost every morning - it was expensive, but what you’d expect at a hotel pretty much anywhere. The food was very good - a great balance of Japanese and western offerings. The house made custards were delicious!
The hotel is in a perfect location - 5 minute walk to Shinjuku Station, two Lawsons and a 7-11 even closer.

Hotel provided 2 bottles of water. Department stores and restaurant are in walking distance. You can also use the crossover bridge from the hotel to another side of the road. Nice coffee shop and convenience store nearby. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant that owned by Iron Chef at the hotel. It was great taste and experience. The (paid) parking lot is large to fit a van and easy to go in and out. The hotel is easy to come by car; you won't get lost using GPS from the car. The view from 40F bar is fantastic.

Pros: Visited Tokyo for the rugby world cup. We booked this hotel chiefly for location for both sight seeing, shopping and access to train station for travel to the rugby stadium (at Yokohama). The location was perfect for our purposes, overlooking Shibuya crossing and across the road from the Shibuya Station (can take the NEX airport express from Narita to Shibuya station ) The check in and concierge service was excellent and staff very helpful. Nice touches include nespresso machine in room and bottles of water provided. There is an amazing little coffee shop called Tsukuyomi Coffee (unreal cappuccino, expert Barista) in the side street close to the hotel. Note that the hotel street entrance is 'hidden' near the elevator for the Mark City shopping mall.

Hotel appears old. Bathroom towels were tired. Bed could have used extra (softer) pillows. The breakfast offering was average.

There’s just a lovely funky chilled atmosphere, lovely music and a really relaxing vibe. The capsule forms are really clean, really secure and very private. The location is superb - it’s got a really nice neighbourhood feel, 2 min walk to both JR line and metro stations, 15 min walk to Shibuya (down some very cool streets) and bout 20 min walk to Meiji Shrine/Harajuku area. Wander down the neighbourhood and pop into some very cool local yakitori restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here again - thank you for showing me such kind hospitality XX

The café works as a communal space, but feels a bit like a normal café! A really good place, just the organization of the space! And being 190 cm, the pod felt a little small as probably most tall persons know when having a wall at the foot end of the bed!

Pros: Very cute hotel in busy Shibuya. The decor is feminine and fun but not tacky. The rooms are a generous size for Japan. Bathroom is small but efficient. The room was comfortable and had lots of useful extras. It was nice being able to make a hot drink. Despite being on busy street it was not noisy. We found this to be a comfortable sanctuary after a busy day sightseeing and would stay here again. Staff were friendly. The breakfast at the attached cafe is basic and probably not good value for money but it made for a simple start to the day.

Cons: The room itself and the bathroom are quite small (but that is quite typical in Tokyo), bathroom isn't soundproof because of the big gap underneath the door. The breakfast is good: you have the option between Japanese and western style and it is quite elaborate and gets served at your table, but other than that there is no other option or more variety possible (no buffet). The serving time is also quite short, from 7.30am till 10am (last order at 9.30am), we weren't paying attention to that (even though it is indicated in the elevator ;-) ) and had to be reminded on our second last morning to come and have breakfast (on Sunday). Too bad we left early on Monday to catch our flight and they couldn't pack us something for breakfast.

Pros: the room was a nice sized for a tokyo hotel. Location was good, it was at the quieter spot of shibuya, near to shibuya stream where there are plenty of food choices. It was easy to move around.

Pros: Thumbs up for the hotel location.. It is close to the Shibuya South Exit so taking a train is easy and convenient. Despite being close to the train station, the hotel was never noisy. There is a Family Mart next door and a Lawson down the street. There are also many restaurants near the hotel, some are even 24hrs! It's a 10 min walk to the Hachiko Statue and the famous Shibuya Crossing. Lots of shopping and traffic. Hotel provides complimentary coffee and tea. Pretty decent breakfast if you pick the room that comes with free breakfast Staff is friendly and helpful. They are also very prompt in their response. Overall a good choice hotel in Shibuya.

Cons: The english level of the front desk staff was low. I had some deliveries and they simply cannot understand and did not even try to use google translate. I had to google translate to show them. Instead of checking, they just keep saying no parcel no parcel. What is the difficulty of checking in the system or at the back when u can have my details or room number?! I had no choice but email via booking.com to check with them. Indeed they found the parcel but by then i had left japan. This was so unlike the japanese hospitality that was known to be fabulous. I was very disappointed.

Cons: Room is small but it's expected since this is Tokyo. Bathroom is tiny and the bathroom ceiling is low. So if you're super tall, this hotel may not work for you. The hotel is also very dated. Need an update.
