The rental did not take place at all. At the time of taking the car, in Trelew (Argentina), Hertz did not confirm the tariff that Kayak had proposed ("invented"?) for this rental. Instead of $400, Hertz asked for 400+1900 because Hertz wanted 1900 for leaving the car in another place - this huge amount was never mentioned by Kayak. In the heat of the moment, we had no way to access to Kayak and ask for clarifications. Kayak gives no tel number to call, no email, no chat, nothing. (and then you shamelessly ask for feedback... ). We had to buy airplane tickets instead, on the spot. Kayak proved to be the least reliable service I ever found on the web. Never again will I use it. The rate is ZERO and it is for Kayak, not for Hertz.
