10.0 Excellent
Pros: The sails restaurant for breakfast was breathtaking!
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location. Nice clean white sand beach with turquoise waters 5 min glass boat ride to the reef for some snorkelling. Comfortable and affordable transfer from and to Mombasa airport
Cons: Not a lot of activities offered by the hotel, but available close by. Food lacking the local flavours sometimes even blend. But there are a lot of other options around
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, loved the beach! Really appreciated the small private beach area where one could relax without being bothered by anyone! Was especially glad to see a vendor next door that provided different activities like jet skiing, kite surfing, etc! The staff was very attentive and so quick to respond! The rooms were amazing - big and clean, with a huge terrace and an outdoor shower! Great views, with complete privacy! Appreciated the free tea and water in the rooms! AC worked great! Beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom did not have a shower, and the tub did not have a curtain, so water got everywhere! Also, think about investing in Arabic showers for a more diverse clientele :) Wish the beach boys would be discouraged a little more vigorously - they really disrupted the walks on the beach, and were relentless. Wish there was a little more variety in the food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room, super great food for dinner, lunch and breakfast (except for the croissants
Cons: All was good!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to the ocean, yet secluded
Cons: WiFi Internet was not good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. Every member of the team you saw had a big smile on their face and would always greet you with a warm hello. They were so attentive and you never needed to lift a finger as they would be ready to do anything for you! We stayed here for a week post a week on safari for our honeymoon and it was amazing. The location is brilliant, the resort is beautiful and feels so safe. You have your own private area off the beach and it was just so peaceful. We had a deluxe double room with a seaview and it was perfect, the shower on the balcony was a surprise but actually really nice (and secluded enough to go the full hock haha). I would definitely recommend Ocean Village club to anyone and everyone
Cons: There was nothing not to like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Hotel! This was our honeymoon and the staff and manager made everything possible to make our stay even better! The room was beautiful and the hotel was even better than on pictures. It is on the beach with a beautiful garden and very nice swimming pool. The food was very good too and the staff was super nice , from the reception to the waiters to the staff by the sunbeds, to the gardeners and the manager too who come to see all the guests at breakfast and dinner, that was a very nice touch. I got sick during my stay and all the staff was so attentive to me and did their best to make me feel better. Extremely nice stay in this wonderful hotel! Could not recommend enough!
Cons: Nothing!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Most of the staff were amazingly friendly.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, the staff, the food, the view... oh I was very impressed by the hotel. EVERYTHING! The local danse was a good deal tho!
Cons: Unfortunately They said us that with their transfert to the airport we would have the priority at the ferry but it was false.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a fantastic position (all the little Chale island is reserved for the guests, with its magnificent sandy beach), with beautiful rooms with a traditional and relaxed vibe (we stayed in a banda by the lagoon, totally reccomend it: spacious, comfortable and with great external space), very friendly and helpful staff and delicious cooking with a distinguishible italian touch (homemade pumpkin ravioli and lasagna, grissini, made at request pasta, italian cheeses but also freshly catch fish, kenyan delicacies and all the tropical fruits you can eat). Also the diving is spot on: very professional guides, with brand new equipment and boat.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is just perfect..you are on an island . The experience is just amazing. On the top the hotel organises so many activities so that you don't feel bored through out the day. I have to say it's an amazing experience
Cons: This is a though question. But I think they could have better communication system between rooms to reception etc. Also power goes off between 10 to 5 since their is no electricity on island and they rely on power generator. Although we didn't missed the power for a second.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved the Rooms, The Good food and Great Ambience .
Cons: We liked the place. Please also add Coffee /Tea in the rooms & a Jug to boil water. Thanks
10.0 Excellent

7.1 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff who are willing to go extra mile for visitors/guests. Pool is pretty good and the beach is a stone throw from the hotel. Hotel grounds are well maintained, beautiful, clean and some good evening entertainment; overall an average experience. Bravo!
Cons: Food not very tasty considering the amount of money you pay..I have had better in smaller hotels. The white wine is absolutely awful and fruits were soar most of the times. Rooms generally clean apart from rusty shower cubicles and some plug sockets not functioning. They like to charge everything in this hotel even ironing while most hotels come with an iron in the room. However they made an exception and gave me the iron so thats a plus.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: - comfortable beds, I slept so well - beautiful pool - right on the beach - not too busy around the pool, you could always get beds - very friendly staff - spoilt on arrival with coconuts & flower garlands because it was our honeymoon - significantly cheaper than other hotels in the area - amazing breakfast - hot, reliable shower - great air con in the room
Cons: - white wine on the all inclusive is TERRIBLE

The all inclusive package is ideal with breakfast, lunch, teatime, snack bar and dinner, very worth it and there are always different variety/theme for dinner every night.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beautiful beach of Diani. Lunch and evening dinners were very tasty. There was a nice variety in evening settings, from a buffet at the pool to a served dinner in the restaurant. Better than we expected. Rooms were spacious and beds were perfect for us.
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: The pool is nice Breakfast is good. The food is good but the first nice it was mediocre
Cons: -The hotel did not organise our pick up at the airport even though we had sent them many mail about it! Didn’t even answer sometimes! did not even do a commercial gesture about it -the rooms are old. Beds are not comfortable. We did not even get a double bed in the parents room -shower was not really clean and the door of it was broken -lots of alga on this part of the beach
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were fantastic, right on the beach with a lovely pool to cool down if you’re not wanting to go in the sea. We loved the setting - the gardens were lush with plants and flowers it’s was so relaxing! Rooms have everything you need.

Cons: Wi fi is not available in the rooms, just in the public areas.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic, welcoming staff. The rooms were so nice and clean with AC, mosquito nets on every window and also mosquito net around the beds. Felt secure inside the property, security guards and staff everywhere.
Cons: Only soap was provided, no shampoo or shower gel. Lots of annoying local shopkeepers trying to sell you anything. Can't go 2 meters on the beach without somebody try to get to you.

Pros: The last day of my stay which was Easter Monday dinner set up was 10 out of 10!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was v/good and the location outstanding
Cons: not being harrassed by local vendors on the beach and maybe a bit more entertainment of an evening
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Had good food and friendly staff.

Cons: Not the biggest fan of the decor
10.0 Excellent
Pros: rooms were excellent, stafc were friendly, food was good.We requested for a chef to make my nephew a birthday cake which was doneand the staff sang for him.We were very happy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything the staff the ambience. The room. The food. Cocktails were amazing Highly recommended
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff was nice and helpful
Cons: Wifi doesn't work 90% of the time. Showers regularly only had cold water. When my daughter injured herself on het foot in the pool, staff tried to help but couldn't find any bandages in their (outdated) first aid kit. After 5 minutes of bleeding I took her to our room as I had some first aid kit there. Breakfast buffet is limited if you don't want to have a warm breakfast with sausages. Cheese looks old, the cooling of the meat and cheese hardly seems to work.
7.1 Good
Pros: Unfortunately there was a fire at the resort before we arrived for our Spa Day we had booked, this meant we were not able to stay at the resort we had paid for, we understand this was out of the control of the hotel but it made for a very stressful and annoying experience.
Cons: In this situation a refund on the booking should have been offered so we could have rebooked with a hotel able to offer spa treatments, food, facilities and sleeping arrangements all in one resort, instead we were forced to travel constantly between two hotels (yes nearby but still annoying), taking meals at one hotel, travelling back to leopard for spa treatments, then back to the second hotel for pool use, then back to leopard, then back to the second hotel to sleep, it was a real mess.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view. The monkeys. The bed was so comfortable and the rooms are so spacious
Cons: The guy at the reception area. Nice guy but could use a bit of training .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Effort of stuff for guest satisfaction The seaside villa was amazing The guitar playing at nights was excellent
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so good to my family especially my grandmother.
7.9 Good
Pros: The food and entertainment
Cons: The bed.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Bed amazing -firm and clean and crisp. Close to stunning beach. Best massage ever from Rose. Lovely friendly helpful staff just marred by the traumatic leaving checkout.
Cons: Traumatic experience leaving! They refused to take me to the airport to catch my flight unless I paid again as they had claimed the wrong amount from booking.com so the pre paid credit card refused payment. They made me pay again even thought I said my contract was with booking.com, had proof I paid and their contract was directly with booking.com so they needed to take it up with them. I got in the courtesy car and they made the driver and me get out again until I paid. I had to because I would have missed my flight but three men stopping a single woman from leaving was very unpleasant. They were not menacing but determined to get their money. I spoke to Moses in accounts on the phone and he was insistent I had to pay. As was the duty manager who showed me a declined credit card which I didn’t think was mine but I didn’t have all my cards with me. Turns out it was their error as I assume the exchange rate on the day was different. Took me 3 hours once home to get booking.com to reply and agree to refund me. It was a very unpleasant end to a nice stay with the staff being so lovely and helpful otherwise. The food was plentiful but sometimes a little bland and the rooms are a little tired for the price paid.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole place was just amazing. Check-in process was easy and smooth, I was traveling with family and the rooms were prepared exactly how I had asked them to be prepared. The staff was very friendly and they pay extra attention to people traveling with infants! Which was awesome! They have activities for children which keeps them engaged and with something to do. The good-morning show by Jambo team was particularly refreshing and sets you up for the day! The food selection is amazing, the evening events are amazing, this place is just perfect!
Cons: There are no windows to the rooms and you can't leave the balcony door open when you leave the room because of monkeys moving around. This means you can't air damp clothes in the bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the hospitality everyone were soo good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were absolutely incredible so friendly and eager to help. The room was spotless and the food was delicious with a wide range to choose from. The evening entertainment was fantastic with a different show every night with the most incredible acrobatics I have ever seen!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lucy at the front office is a gem. Very helpful and a resource to the facility.
Cons: Some room facilities were't working e.g TV and hot water shower. All the same the hotel staff offers excellent service.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful. Entertainment crew was amazing. They know how to do their job. It was not boring any seconds. Food amazing. Best place in Africa.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Extensive buffet. consomme was excellent. Chef was available for guests if required. Rooms well serviced by polite staff. Quiet environment. When a fault was reported it was efficiently followed up.
Cons: Would welcome more fish variety. Tuna was repeated often. Would have preferred if beer was served by the bottle as often used unfinished beer bottles were stored in the service fridges and utilised to serve guests....leaving me unsure of the 'vintage'.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: natural setting, beautiful ocean views, friendly staff
Cons: During check out the taxi was not allowed into the hotel and we had to walk to the gate.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff , swim pool & location
Cons: Room was old , need to renovation. Comparing to other hotel was expensive
7.1 Good
Pros: Food was okay, although for Kids they had to survive on chips. This is because menu didn't have food with stew other than vegetarian foods.
Cons: The policy of kicking out guests at 10.am The person at the reception said that, "as per policy" guest cant access any facility after check out. I had requested that my kids be allowed to swim as we wait for the driver to pick us at 12 am. (just 2 hours). This was flatly declined on the grounds of policy. Surely? after spending over 120k my son cant swim for 2 hours? The staff were not even willing to help us carry our luggage to the reception and when i asked at the reception i was told i didn't request for such assistance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was lovely, all the staff were accommodating to my families needs, including changing rooms, so that it wasn’t too many steps for my dad as he has Parkinson’s and difficulty seeing at night. Entertainment teams (Jambo team) were awesome, working all day long, providing pool games, board games throughout the day, entertainment show/club in the evening. The mtv reload dance was wicked. The location is beautiful, located on diani beach itself, like just wow. The bar staff were a great laugh, drinks were really good too !

4.2 Okay
Pros: Only the location

4.6 Okay
Pros: The weather.
Cons: Staff was very unfriendly. Din't get the seevice required. Shower had no water force and maintenance was not available. There was a big delay in food...people had to wait in ques to get food.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Pools were awesome, huge and had quiet areas.
Cons: Rooms and property dates and worn.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Food excellent, staff excellent, location excellent. Beach fantastic as no coral to wade through.
Cons: Rooms very tired looking but they are going to have these refurbed soon. Bathrooms very dated and our bath had been painted. Tea tray a bit poor so get fresh milk from restaurant. Signing chitties even though all inclusive. Cats in restaurant being fed by ignorant tourists. Many monkeys stealing food.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The pool, the beach, customer service
Cons: Noting
5.4 Okay
Pros: The beach was the best feature. Staff friendly.
Cons: Old, rundown rooms and bathrooms. 3 stars or below.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Outside is beautiful and the staff are ok.
Cons: The AC’s are not working, no fridge in the rooms, too much mosquitoes, sand inside the swimming a lot that everyone cut his feet. TV not working and no DSTV.
7.5 Good
Pros: The food was great and in plenty, plenty of drinks and the Chefs were very friendly, especially in the main Dining Area. Nyama Choma was great as was the swimming and plenty of games. We loved the evening entertainment with great interraction with the Hotel entertainment Team. This should go past 11pm as there is nowhere else to go especially for young people. The Beach was clean and SAFE and we enjoyed walking along despite the Beach boys interrupting our peace and quiet from time to time.
Cons: The juices were watery and horrible; even after our complaints. The fruits were raw and tasteless most of the time; a pity for a country in the tropics! Staff are not as warm and friendly as in some hotels such as the Sands at Nomad and its Sister hotel on Chale Island. However, the waiters seem openly overfriendly to White people whom they gave a lot of unnecessary attention, sometimes bordering on the absurd! Just visit them (Sands at Nomad) to understand what I mean. We enquired about my Daughter holding her Wedding here in 2020 but the answers were too vague for us to engage. This is apparently handled by top management which makes it unnecessarily bureaucratic. We visited other hotels which were more forthcoming and helpful with Wedding Planning. The Hotel needs to have a FREE shuttle from Diani Airport.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was amazing, the staff were really really friendly, the room was amazing, nothing negative to say about this hotel. Keep up the good work
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Large warm swimming pool. Kitchen staff were ver helpful in prelarimg food for my small boy.
Cons: Beds too high, TV very old and analogue

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect! The staff are the most friendly and helpful people you could ask for, the food is delicious, location is beautiful - it really is the perfect place for your vacations. Thank you!
Cons: I liked everything, but the only suggestion I would like to make would be for children’s entertainment/activities to be improved.
7.1 Good
Pros: The beach and resort were beautiful. The property is amazing and the pool is fantastic. Food is decent and spa services were good. Rooms and views were fantastic and staff were generally friendly.
Cons: Talking to the reception people was like talking to a brick wall. They were just so incompetent and not very helpful and were confused constantly. Staff were nice but there were corrupt workers, asking me to do them favors or lend them money: STAFF at the resort!!! That should be one of the only places for no corruption. The Beach Boys were so bad at this resort. It’s not the property’s fault but it’s impossible to go on the beach because they wait by the entrance and someone is always following you. One day the cleaning staff didn’t close my door properly and my room door was wide open so I highly recommend renting the safe for the stay. The biggest thing I disliked was that they couldn’t process my payment as their machine was down and asked if I had cash (which I don’t just have 90,000 schillings on me...) and at first said it was okay and I can get cash from the mall whenever I can but next morning was woken up at 6am asking to pay... I went to reception and they told me again the machine was down and only cash and it was required that instant. They made me go to the mall 3km and PAY MY OWN TAXI for their problem with the payment system.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, 3-star on paper but 4-star in reality, staff generally very welcoming and accomodating, one staff member in particular, Ali the waiter. He made us feel very comfortable and was always attentive to getting us drinks and taking our plates away when we were done. We were keen to learn Swahili, so he'd teach us new words every meal - a true asset to Papillon and I wouldn't be surprised if he was to become a manager this time next year.
Cons: Wi-Fi was difficult at times, always worked in the lobby nonetheless. Also, not a fault of the hotel's, but the locals forcing you to buy things on the beach, frustrating as they couldn't take 'no' for an answer.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food was delicious and they a good variety for all the meals. Staff are super friendly and helpful
Cons: Most of the staff there are men. Balance the gender a little bit
10.0 Excellent

Cons: There was little food variety to choose from. No sockets in bathrooms for shaving machines.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Good location. Proximity to the beach is a plus. Good outdoors ambience for meals. The swimming pool is nice.
Cons: Poor wifi-works only at the reception. No drinking water provided. No kettle or refreshments provided in the rooms. Most rooms don't have tv's. Food quality is mediocre. The air conditioning in the room is off during the day. Too many cost cutting measures at the expense of guest comfort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very kind and helpful

7.9 Good
Pros: The location, nice beach, great Buffet dinner for the 1er day of the year
Cons: Swimmingpool not clean, technical issue with restroom in the room never repared. Message sent to reception and never received answer,
4.5 Okay
Pros: The swimming pools were nice and food was abundant
Cons: First, I had to wait for an hour before I was allocated a room and it was already 11.30pm when I arrived. The room I was first given had no towels, toilet rolls, complimentary beverages, no pillow cases. The sheets were extremely dirty and the fridge was supper disgusting and rusted. The toilet seat was broken making it unsafe. After complaining, I was moved to another room but in this one, the TV which seemed so old didn’t work and the fridge was leaking making the whole room wet. I left my two year old child in the kids club and after an hour when I came back, she had a big bruise on her forehead. The staff casually told me she felt. The toilets in the communal areas were so dirty and disgusting. Instead of complete relaxation, my experience was more stressful and uncomfortable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, amazing food, nice view of the beach from my room
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The property has great potential. However current management are letting it down. This hotel is not consumer focused. 80% of the grounds are run down and not in use.
Cons: From the moment we checked in it was a disaster. After an error caused us to pay for a night we did not stay (fault of our own), despite giving notice. No breakfast was included in the room rate despite upgrade. We also arrived late at night, there was no explanation of facilities, we were not showed to our room or advised on accurate information to access food or drink within the resort. We were told that we could only eat in the buffet for 5600 KHS. We advised we would only like a light meal. We were told we could have a salad and be charged half. 15 mins into sitting down they started closing the buffet and charged us full price for it. Not only this but we were then charged again on check out for the meal. We later found out you could order room service for a fraction of the price, but only if you request a menu from the bar. The rooms were below basic standard for a resort that claims to be 4 stars. Outdated and dirty! Check out was just as disorganised and unprofessional. We were given a bill that over 50% was in-accurate. When advised that this was incorrect, they refused to remove the items that had already been paid. I will never stay at this resort again! I highly suggest looking elsewhere! A backpackers would be x10 better than this - at least you will get value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful . Especially Rodgers. Bless him. The location was to die for. We loved every single minute we were there. The beach was clean and wide. The food was nice. We loved the 4 o'clock tea available to all guests(half board, full board, all inclusive) We loved that the hotel had a recommended breach guide(Amos) who took guests to the sandy island(at a small fee) He was so determined to give guests the best experience. We had evening entertainment almost all nights during dinner. Everything was wonderfull. Maybe next time include some karaoke at night and day activities like beach volleyball, water aerobics and water polo. Otherwise for the affordable price, the hotel is worth it!
7.5 Good
Pros: The reception staff esp Mercy was very welcoming. They even gave us a surprise cake for our honeymoon. The beach facilities are also great.
Cons: I didn't like the restaurant staff. They looked fed up and unbothered to be honest. Wouldn't kill them to smile. Also there needs to be more variety in the buffet.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: How beautiful the surroundings are.
Cons: The room at first wasn't the one i requested needed to change, as well lack of single beds.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Hotel should improve on their meals
5.0 Okay
Pros: Extremely boring menu. Worse, it was repeated on consecutive days. Red snapper, the rice, local UG Ali dish....
Cons: Innovative menu, more lively evening entertainment would help.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The vicinity is absolutely fabulous. The staff extremely helpful and polite. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean.
Cons: Some parts of the room equipmemt should be changed for new pieces, though they worked.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was nice, but typical All Inclusive. I understand why.
Cons: Only one restaurant. I went elsewhere to get `a la Carte
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Impeccably clean place. Friendly staff and a very professional security service.
Cons: food and beverage should be more customer focused

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, most of it made of natural materials, tasty food (we really liked that butter, jam etc. is not served in plastic to save environment) , staff was very helpful, really good beach bar, large and very clean beach, quiet and safe. We enjoyed every day a lot. Our room was upgraded from garden view to ocean view for free. Perfect honeymoon :)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Liked the staff, very accommodating. The room was nice and big with AC and a fan. Very quiet. The hotel is on the beach as is the restaurant and bar with a great breeze and views of the amazing white sands and the green Indian Ocean. Monkeys froliced on the property and the pool looked refreshing. We had a foot and head massage which were both delightful!
Cons: Overall the food wasn't all that great. In addition, the cappuccino machine was either not working or they didn't have one, and the coffee was bad. The hotel had a rule I've never seen before: absolutely NO outside food or drinks allowed. Very odd and they did not replenish the room with any more small bottles of drinking water after the first day! They sold bottles for $3 but we went to the store and brought more affordable bottles in anyway.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location on the beautiful white beach is to die for. The rooms are lovely; the air conditioning was a very pleasant luxury after two weeks of staying in lodges and camps and the bed was very large and comfortable. the shower was amazing! The staff were lovely, particularly the bar staff who can rustle up a fantastic cocktail! The food choices varied; one night was an a la carte menu because the hotel wasn’t as busy and we found the quality was greater that night than the buffet, however the buffet was still ok. They also catered specifically to my vegan requests.
Cons: When we booked the hotel, the description said that there was WiFi in all areas but, when we arrived, we were informed that it was mainly the public areas and we couldn’t access it in our room. We were provided with water on the day of check in but would have appreciated it on the other days as well as we could not drink the tap water and we had bottled water at all of our other hotels. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and these are just a couple of of small things that would have made our time there extra special.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good ambience Chick place ..really nice ...minimalist design ....
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is awesome, nice beach bar, rooms, wonderful and clean beach, hammocks in the garden, water sports activities
Cons: Beach boys stand in front of hotel and harass everyone as soon as she/he steps into the beach. Food: just order the meals of the day; anything outside that in the menu is terribly cooked. I mean anything: from a simple cheese sandwich to fish. They told me fish was fresh but of course it wasn’t. Staff is 50/50: some are pretty amazing and others unprofessional
6.7 Good
Pros: Location and view
Cons: Service and facilitates
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view, beach, personnel, services provided, food. The place is children friendly and calm. Clean swimming pool, kids corner, monkeys, donkey and dog.:) I can just recommend it. We really enjoyed our stay there!
Cons: I didn't enjoy so much deserts (no many options), otherwise other food was delicious. It was pity that they didn't provide spa services in the evenings.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice location close to the beach. We even got an upgrade and an early check in, the staff was very helpful and kind.
Cons: Prices for food and drinks are slightly higher, even for a bottle of water.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is great and the beach is stunning. I loved to listen the sea while falling asleep. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful place and good value to money!
Cons: You can't bring your own drinks (not even water) to your apartment, so you have to buy all the drinks from the hotel. The menu would need reform / more variety.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It’s a fabulous location. Directly at beachfront. A beautiful white-sanded tropical beach. Very nice and romantic place and great view from the room to the sea. They created many nice seats to relax. A nice beachbar and terrace to relax and eat or drink. And a restaurant without walls, only a roof. Looks nice. The personel is very friendly. It looks like paradise, if only they had not quite some annoying rules and features.
Cons: Not all they promise is true. They write it’s very luxury, well, the rooms are nice and romantic, but not luxury. The promised minibar was totally empty. They have a very annoying rule: all drinks and food from outside is forbidden to bring, BUT also the hotel does not sell any canned drinks, snacks, peanuts or crisps. So you have to secretly smuggle things to the compound. The guard even wanted to take away a half empty bottle mineral water from us; we refused. Any other hotel has a board with ‘welcome’, but here right at the gate they have that big board ‘food and drinks from outside are not allowed’. That doesn’t make you feel welcome. This kind of rules i never found anywhere. It makes you feel treated like a schoolboy. Normally every hotel here gives two small bottles of mineral water per day, free, because the tapwater cannot be drinked, but here they only give it the first day, after that they can sell you a bottle of 60 KES for 200 KES. It does not feel nice the management choose to try to make money on anything, while they are already one of the most expensive hotels in the area. The quality of the meals from the menu is reasonable to good - and for very reasonable price of €10 if ever you get the chance to order it... Because most of the days we were here (5 out of 7 days..!) they only had a buffet, with very limited choice, poor quality, limited quantity, half of the food was cold and highly fixed price of €20, exclusief drinks. They do not allow you to order meals from the menu. After two nights with buffets we refused to eat here and searched another place to eat. But other restaurants are quite far and only can be reached with taxi or tuktuk. The quality of the promised WiFi (‘also in the rooms’) was dramatic. When it worked the speed was about 0,2 Mbit/sec - only enough for whatsapp and very simple use. In the room we mostly had no WiFi at all and about 20 times a day you have to login again (when that works..

Via a shortcut you are at the ocean in 5 minutes. So overall a really great stay and we extended two times

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food at the hotel bar is exceptional, it’s a little pricey but you cannot fault the quality. The seafood was delicious. The security guards to a great job of ensuring people from the beach don’t pester you which is also a great touch.
Cons: Drinks prices at the bar were quite high, they should do a drinks special each day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place is just amazing! In front of the beach and with 3 pools! The room was enormous (double deluxe room I think It was the name), big bed, nice balcony with views of the pools and the beach at the end and very clean. It was our Honeymoon and they invite us for dinner!! An amazing and delicious dinner! The breakfast is also very good (they have croissants!) Thank you guys for everything!
Cons: The flush didn't work well
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is excellent. Great place next to the beach. Staff very helpful. I’ll recommend it to friends
Cons: Toilet facilities bit old
5.7 Okay
Pros: Nice beachfront location (although the "beach boys" can ruin that quickly). Polite staff. They arranged a taxi to and from the airport.
Cons: The internet was unreliable, the shower was cold, and the restaurant was mediocre overpriced food. I had planned to stay in Diani Beach for 4 days but left after 2, unimpressed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: excellent service, helpful staff especially Faith at the reception, she was extremely helpful and very professional.
Cons: nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The ambiance was awesome. But there meals are too small they can do a little better with them.
Cons: The staff are friendly though the new ones are not well oriented.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The beach
Cons: Breakfast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I simply loved the place. My room was huge, an entire top floor of one of the villas. Spotless clean and comfortable, with the biggest closet I had in a accommodation, a bathroom, also large, with both bath and shower, a large terrace facing the 3 big pools in the beautiful garden of the property. The AC worked perfect but I didn't need it much. No mosquitoes around also :) The beach is meters away and the restaurant by the beach offers the ideal view to the Indian Ocean and the white sandy beach. The property offers 24h security at the gate and on the beach, so for those interested, it is super safe! Food is also good, I had breakfast only. The stuff is more than willing to make your accommodation perfect. I asked for a late check out, since my flight was in the evening, they allowed me without any charge. When I came out, around 4pm, they told me to keep the room even more, until I leave for the airport. So from me the place deserves a 10+. For about 40euro a night it was perfect! And yes, I would stay here again and I already recommend it to some friends from US going to Diani.
Cons: My only regret was I didn't have more days to spent here. It's a very nice place.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the pool, the beach front and the breakfast
Cons: The net could not cover my double bed well and there were lots of mosquitoes that terrorized me
6.2 Good
Pros: The beach connected to the property was really nice. The room had a lot of good natural lighting during the day.
Cons: The room was old and not well maintained. The items in the kitchen were mostly rusted and damp.
