Noisy guest below, tv left on all night, laughing and giggling till all hours in the morning, noise from traffic, felt like we where sleeping outside, no double glazing
The Escape Suite was absolutely mega! Well worth the stay. Jacuzzi bath, mood lighting, everything about the room was excellent.
An hour into our stay we encountered a floor full of ants. These where everywhere. On all surfaces, in the wardrobe and pretty much everywhere other than on the bed. We did ask to be moved and was kindly refunded the difference as we’d upgraded due to a cancelation. We also know why it was canceled now. The staff where helpful. Hopefully they sort the issue for good.
The hotel was so central to everything we wanted to do while in Bowness and the sister companies (Burnside Spa, Fizzy Tarte, Lake View Garden Bar & BAHA) were only a 4/5 minute walk away. We loved that we got 10% off in all of the above places too it really made our visit worthwhile! And the breakfast was great.
Check in is quite late but we were able to pop in and get a spa pass while we waited on our room. Room was very warm and there was no visible way to switch the radiator off.
Location is great & the staff were very helpful.
Disappointed with the full english breakfast. Everything was cold to luke warm apart from the toast. May have just been an issue that day with heating equipment as it wasn't busy. The shower didn't work which we found out in the morning but the receptionist spoke to management who gave us some money back so we were happy with that. Thank you.
