Peaceful environment and comfortable armchairs in lounge area
Atmosphere and location were excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive!
Room was extremely small for the price paid. The wall of the elevator shaft was connecting to the room so very noisy during the morning. Breakfast (full English) was decent but definitely not worth the money. Pastries and croissants were stale two days in a row. The restaurant was also extremely overpriced for the quality and service offered with regards to dinner. Bar cocktails and food were alright. One point to note, the hotel is advertised as 5-stars on this site but displays a 2019 rating as 4-stars.
fabulous breakfast, with plenty of selection for every ones needs.
Liked all of the hotel.
Location was good, staircase was impressive.Hotel Bar had nice atmosphere, front main lounge was relaxing, had a lovely view over to The Minster in the distance and a good selection of board games.
Breakfast was busy and had to wait in a queue to be seated. Staff were very good under pressure and were apologetic which was fine.
